Goldust undergoes surgery on both his knees

It will be a while till we see Goldust in the ring again as the former Intercontinental champion announced yesterday that he underwent surgery on both his knees.

The surgeries were done at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama under the care of Dr. Jeffrey Dugas. The procedures were successful and the veteran wrestler is expected to make a full recovery although no time frame was given for his return.

“Hey everybody, letting you know that both my knee surgeries went well. Ready to ride up outta here,” Goldust tweeted. He also posted a photo of both his knees bandaged up as he sat in a hospital bed.

Dr. Jeffrey Dugas was a busy man this week as Fandango also had to undergo shoulder surgery yesterday.
