Goldberg agrees to new WWE deal, to appear at the Royal Rumble

ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that Goldberg has signed another deal with WWE and will also be part of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January.

The Rumble next year is at the Alamodome stadium in San Antonio, Texas, and a rematch with Brock Lesnar is planned. Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar clean in under two minutes last night at the Survivor Series, a shock result to many but one that now makes a bit more sense considering there’s Goldberg vs Lesnar III in the future. Goldberg now holds a 2-0 record on Lesnar, beating him at WrestleMania XX and yesterday.

Betting odds for the main event heavily favored Brock Lesnar going into the night but then they swiftly changed in favor of Goldberg once the smart money came in before the pay-per-view.
