Just before Extreme Rules started, WWE announced that Daniel Bryan would not be appearing at the pay-per-view, saying that he was medically unable to compete.

WWE.COM has removed Bryan from tonight’s Raw advertising however the Resch Center, the home of tonight’s Raw, is still promoting Daniel Bryan on the event page. He is still advertised for next week’s show.

Bryan is expected to be out of action for the next four weeks at least with the future of the Intercontinental title still undecided.
