Dana Warrior confirms second Warrior Award to be given at HOF ceremony

Dana Warrior, the widow of WWE Hall of Famer the Ultimate Warrior, today confirmed in a post on her Facebook that there will be another Warrior Award presented at the Hall of Fame ceremony this year.

“The recipient is top secret but I am absolutely thrilled with who has been chosen,” Dana wrote, adding that she and her two girls will be in Dallas for WrestleMania and will be at all the events. “So I hope with all my heart you will say hello so I can thank you in person for your ongoing support,” Dana said.

The Warrior Award was inaugurated last year with Connor Michalek being the first recipient of the award. During his induction speech in 2013, Warrior urged WWE to create an award to honor the true heroes of the company. After his death, WWE created the award and named it in his honor. Dana and Daniel Bryan presented Connor’s father with the award during a very emotional presentation.
