Colt Cabana trying out for an announcer at WWE’s NXT

Colt Cabana, a popular indy wrestler who worked for WWE briefly as Scotty Goldman and a big friend of CM Punk, will be trying out at WWE NXT to take the role of a commentator.

Cabana announced his tryout on Steve Austin’s podcast where he was a guest. Cabana did commentary for WWE in the past, doing voice for Florida Championship Wrestling which was WWE’s developmental territory before it made way for NXT.

He worked for WWE between 2007 and 2009 and he even had his own WWE.COM show called Good as Goldman, a show which only lasted for a month as he was released in February of 2009.
