Chavo Guerrero re-signs with WWE, assigned to AAA brand

In an interview with Bill Apter, Chavo Guerrero has confirmed that he re-signed with WWE and is assigned to the AAA brand.

Guerrero said that he has a big love for lucha libre and seeing AAA under the WWE umbrella is “pretty awesome.”

Chavo, the nephew of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, was in the audience for the Worlds Collide show in July in Los Angeles. It was his first appearance on WWE television since 2011. He also returned for the second Worlds Collide show in Las Vegas.

Guerrero was released from WWE in June 2011 after a 10-year stint.
