Baron Corbin gets Universal title shot at Super ShowDown

Baron Corbin won a fatal 4-way match yesterday on Raw that earned him the number one contender spot for the Universal title at the upcoming Super ShowDown pay-per-view in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Corbin defeated Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman, and The Miz, pinning The Miz to get the title shot. Many believed that it was going to be Brock Lesnar to take on Rollins at the show but the MITB briefcase holder did not specify which title he’s going after despite it was the main thing hyped for the show.

The former Raw GM was not even originally announced for the match as AJ Styles was in his place but Styles was injured and later Corbin attacked him backstage to take his spot.

The Super ShowDown card has eight matches on the card including the 50-man battle royal.
