Alleged thief in Rusev/Lana hotel case identified

Police apprehended a suspect in the hotel theft case involving Rusev and Lana at the Sheraton Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee.

FOX affiliate WHBQ-TV in Memphis reported that Portia Williams, who is employed by the hotel as one of the cleaning staff, was identified as the alleged thief. Williams told the police that she found Rusev’s wallet in the trash. Security recovered it but the $500 in cash that was inside disappeared. She allegedly also took Lana’s digital camera which is still yet to be recovered.

Rusev said on Twitter that he had a Do Not Disturb sign hanging on the door, yet the cleaning staff still went in. In a later tweet, Rusev explained how hotel security blamed the couple for leaving the items in the hotel room.
