Alexa Bliss reveals skin cancer treatment, gets all clear

Alexa Bliss revealed in an Instagram story that she underwent a skin cancer procedure on her face and has now got the all clear from doctors.

Posting a photo with a large band aid on the side of her face, Bliss wrote, “Dear younger me, you should have stayed out of tanning beds.” She then takes the American Skin Institute for taking care of her and removing cancerous spot.

Responding to a tweet, Bliss said that she noticed a spot on her face which got worse by time so she had a biopsy done and it was basal cell carcinoma, the most common form of skin cancer and the most frequently occurring form of all cancers.

“During my procedure doc also found other squamous cells. Was a quick and easy procedure. Glad I always get my skin checked,” she wrote.

Bliss said it’s a short heeling time and urged fans to get their skin checked.

The former champion has not been on television since the Royal Rumble where she lost in a match against Bianca Belair.
