The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic returns on NXT from tonight, with the first matches of the tournament taking place on The CW.

In total, 14 teams were announced, including the NXT and AAA Tag Team champions, who will have a first-round bye in this tournament.

The selected tag teams are

• Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar
• Los Americanos
• Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes)
• Tokyo Bad Boys
• Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux
• The Creed Brothers
• Harley Riggins and Jaxson Presley
• Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov
• Hank and Tank
• El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno

Typically, the winners of the tournament receive an NXT Tag Team title shot but with two sets of champions in the tournament, it remains to be seen what the ultimate prize will be if one of those two teams wins it.
