Trinity Fatu brings the glow to Impact Wrestling

Trinity Fatu made her Impact Wrestling debut last night at the television tapings in Chicago. Her debut airs this coming Thursday on AXS TV.

Now going by her first name of Trinity, the artist formerly known as Naomi in WWE brought her glow gimmick back and her first appearance consisted of an in-ring promo. Her first opponent will be KiLynn King and that match is being taped today which will air in two weeks’ time.

“Ecstatic to welcome @TheTrinity_Fatu to the @IMPACTWRESTLING roster,” tweeted Impact President Scott D’Amore. “A world class athlete and entertainer who will raise the already high bar for everybody in the locker room. Don’t miss her debut this Thursday on #IMPACTonAXSTV.”

This was Trinity’s first time performing in front of a wrestling crowd since May 2022. She and her former tag team partner Sasha Banks walked out of Raw – and WWE – after a creative dispute with Vince McMahon.

Banks went on to Japan as Mercedes Mone but Trinity remained inactive for nearly a year.

Speaking of Mercedes Mone, the former IWGP Women’s champion was backstage and in the crowd for Trinity’s Impact debut, doing the same thing that Trinity did for her when she traveled to Japan to see her at Wrestle Kingdom. Mone donned a large hat and sunglasses to try and disguise herself.
