TNA President Carlos Silva says NXT partnership will continue in 2026

TNA President Carlos Silva said in his first interview since the AMC announcement that the partnership with NXT will continue moving forward.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Silva said it’s also thanks to WWE that they got this television deal with AMC and they’re looking forward to pay it back by offering NXT stars a bigger platform than AXS TV when they appear on TNA in the future.

“The storylines, the things we’re doing together, they’re just going to continue to grow into 2026,” he said. “The last five, six months have been awesome. And I think there’s more to come. And 2026 is just going to build off of that and be even bigger.”

Discussing the new deal, Silva said that it was a team effort and there was ups and downs and moments where they thought it could slip away.

“But I think AMC was really excited about it, too. They’re getting into the live sports entertainment business. They’ve always built great characters. We know that,” Silva said. “And now I think together we’re going to give them something every Thursday night, 52 weeks a year. That is that is so difficult in the entertainment and sports business to do. And it’s going to change everything.”

Silva added this new deal will change the way fans get and see the product and it’s going to bring in new levels of energy to the talent who compete every week.
