The Impact World title in possession by Tessa Blanchard being sent back

Sean Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is reporting that the Impact World title currently in possession of Tessa Blanchard is being sent back to the company.

Sapp says that there were rumors that Blanchard wanted a “large sum of money” to return the title belt but that was denied by her camp, saying that Impact only provided a return address this past week. Blanchard has been living in Mexico and never attended any Impact tapings since the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

Blanchard, who was eventually stripped off the title and fired from Impact Wrestling, is said to be making sure that the Impact World title safely returns to its rightful owners.

After making history and winning the title this past January, Blanchard never defended the title.
