New AEW signee Taya Valkyrie appeared on Impact Wrestling on AXS TV last night as her character is being written out of storylines.

Valkyrie and Rosemary, who were the current Knockouts Tag Team champions, lost the titles to KiLynn King and Taylor Wilde, with Valkyrie taking the pin for the loss.

The episode didn’t explain Valkyrie’s departure and she didn’t wrestle again in the tapings but it’s likely that some kind of backstage segment was filmed for her goodbye.

Taya signed a deal with AEW and made her debut this week on Dynamite.
