Scott Steiner rushed to hospital after collapsing backstage during Impact tapings

Former WCW champion Scott Steiner collapsed backstage during the latest Impact Wrestling tapings and was rushed to a hospital according to Sean Sapp of Fightful Wrestling.

Steiner was doing pre-tapes backstage in Atlanta for a TNA-themed episode of Impact when the incident happened.

Tommy Dreamer wrote on Twitter that he accompanied Steiner to the hospital with Scott D’Amore and Joey Ryan. “Scott Steiner is doing well. And under great care. Say a prayer for Big Poppa Pump. Holla if ya hear me,” Dreamer wrote.

D’Amore later took to Twitter himself to let everyone know that Steiner was doing “okay” in hospital and said his family is grateful
for everyone’s concern and support.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet also added to the story that EMTs worked on Steiner on scene before he was transported to an ER, sounding like it might have been a heart attack.
