Santino Marella returned on television last night at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view and was introduced as the new Director of Authority at Impact Wrestling.

Marella is replacing Scott D’Amore for now on screen following an angle where Bully Ray took out the Impact EVP as part of his storyline.

The former WWE Superstar came out to spoil Moose’s party after he cheated to win the Impact Digital Media title. Marella said he was backstage and saw what he did and restarted the match, allowing enough time for Hendry to recover and pin Moose to retain the title.

Impact trademarked the name Santino Marella last month after WWE let go of the trademark.

His daughter, Bianca, is currently to signed to NXT wrestling under the name of Arianna Grace.
