Sami Callihan announced on Twitter that he has signed a new, two-year deal with Impact Wrestling, noting that today would have been the day when he was suppose to be a free agent.
“I got other offers…but I don’t give a damn,” Callihan wrote. “This is MY company. I made this company. I will be champion again in 2021.”
Callihan made his Impact Wrestling debut at Bound For Glory 2017 and has been part of the company ever since. He is a former Impact World champion, winning the title from Brian Cage in October 2019 but then lost it to Tessa Blanchard at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view in January 2020.
