Sami Callihan departs TNA Wrestling

Sami Callihan has departed TNA Wrestling, the second one from the backstage team who came out in public to announce his departure.

“Thought I was getting called today to be offered a position in creative… nope,” he wrote on X. “I’ve parted ways with TNA. Oh well… onward to the next adventure.”

After retiring from in-ring action last year, Callihan stayed with the company in a producer role. Callihan worked for TNA between 2017 and 2023 and then again from 2024 to now.

TNA yesterday announced that it has started a reduction in force exercise to streamline operations and sharpen strategic focus and profitability.
