Impact Wrestling suffers first COVID-19 positive test

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Impact Wrestling had a positive COVID-19 test at the last television tapings.

Some of the wrestlers were notified about it but not everyone found out first hand, leading to several talent who were not impressed with the lack of communication.

According to Meltzer, the positive coronavirus test was of a wrestler “believed to be part of a group of several people who all traveled together and were tight.” The individual who tested positive was not named.

This was the first known positive coronavirus test within the Impact Wrestling ranks since the pandemic started.
