Alberto El Patron detained at Orlando International Airport by police

PWInsider.com is reporting that GFW champion Alberto El Patron was detained by Orlando airport police yesterday around 3PM following an incident of domestic violence battery.

The Orlando Police Department then issued a statement regarding the incident, saying, “There was an incident at Orlando International Airport at about 3 p.m. Sunday involving Jose Rodriguez (DOB 5/25/1977). The reported incident was a domestic violence battery, and it is still under investigation. No arrests have been made as of this time, but the case remains open. That is all the information we have for release at this time.”

Florida law defines battery as an intentional touching against the will of another person. Battery can be charged as a misdemeanor or a felony, depending on the level of alleged injury. It remains unclear who was the other person involved in this incident.
