Alberto El Patron gone from AAA

Alberto El Patron is reportedly gone from AAA after he lost a match against Mesias during Friday’s television tapings with the stipulation that if he lost, he would have to leave AAA.

The internet wrestling community was up in arms when WWE announced that it was taking over AAA and some of its stars had signed a new deal with WWE, with some outlets reporting that El Patron was one of those who signed a new deal.

El Patron has a shady history and was fired from WWE in 2014 for unprofessional conduct. There was also the situation with his former girlfriend Saraya, where several allegations against him came out.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that Friday’s loss wasn’t just a storyline, but El Patron is out completely from AAA and WWE has no plans to use him in any way, shape or form anymore moving forward.

The former champion returned to AAA in 2023 and was heavily involved with the promotion.
