AJ Styles returns to TNA at Slammiversary 2025

WWE Superstar and former TNA champion himself, AJ Styles, returned to the company he helped build for the first time in over 11 years last night at Slammiversary.

Styles came out to cut a promo in the ring after Leon Slater became the youngest X Division champion in TNA history following a victory over Moose.

The phenomenal one came out to his TNA theme song and said that while he was told he might never make it back to TNA, things are a little more brighter and louder now, putting over the TNA talent and the new X Division champion.

Styles mentioned some of the former X Division champions, saying they were the foundation back then, but Slater is the future and the division is in phenomenal hands.

The former WWE and TNA champion then celebrated with Slater in the ring as the two soaked up the hot crowd.
