Champion vs champion at WrestleMania as Brock wins WWE title

It’s going to be champion vs champion at WrestleMania as a new WWE champion was crowned at the Elimination Chamber.

With Bobby Lashley taken out of the match due to concussion protocol after Austin Theory was power bombed through his pod, knocking him out in the process, a new champion was guaranteed.

And Brock Lesnar ransacked through everyone, pinning Seth Rollins, Riddle, AJ Styles, and Austin Theory to capture the title in one of the most dominating displays in WWE history.

It was down to Brock and Theory as final two and Theory low-blowed Lesnar and covered him for a two-count. But that was the worst mistake in Theory’s life as an angry Brock went for revenge. Theory tried to escape the cage by climbing to the top but Lesnar followed him, grabbed him and in an impressive visual F5’d him from the top of the pod.

Theory was down and out and Lesnar pinned him for the win and the championship, sealing the main event of WrestleMania.

A happy and very sweaty Brock Lesnar then celebrated in the ring and took selfies with fans at ringside before walking back up the ramp and saluted the Saudi Arabian fans.

Belair vs Lynch for Raw Women’s title official for WrestleMania 38

Former Smackdown Women’s champion Bianca Belair won the women’s Elimination Chamber match and got herself a ticket to WrestleMania to face Raw Women’s champion Becky Lynch.

Belair, who was the last one in the Chamber after winning the gauntlet match on Raw, pinned Rhea Ripley and Alexa Bliss during the match to seal the win. The final two were Belair and Bliss and the match lasted almost 16 minutes.

Later in the broadcast, Becky Lynch defeated Hall of Famer Lita to retain the title, making the match official.

This will be a rematch from SummerSlam of last year when Lynch returned as a surprise and defeated Bianca Belair in just 26 seconds to win the title.

Belair headlined night one of WrestleMania last year and won the Smackdown Women’s title in the main event against Sasha Banks.

Madcap Moss lucky to be alive after spot gone bad during Elimination Chamber

Madcap Moss was spiked right on his head during the falls count anywhere match against Drew McIntyre at the Elimination Chamber.

McIntyre went for an Alabama Slam and Moss instead of taking it face first, it looked like he tried to roll and instead he landed right on his head in one very nasty, nasty spot.

The referee immediately went on to check on Moss as Baron Corbin held his own head outside. Instead of going to the finish, the match miraculously continued and not only that, McIntyre threw Moss on the announcer’s table and then took a top rope move and a DDT as well.

The announcers wondered how Moss was still able to walk as fans online remarked how they have newfound respect for him for continuing after such a bad landing.

Thankfully, the match ended a few minutes later with McIntyre picking up the win after a Claymore kick with the sword in his hand.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 PPV Pick’em report

Hey everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA coming at you with another PPV Pick’em report. Today, live from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, it’s the ELIMINATION CHAMBER – one of the last stops on the road to WrestleMania. Tonight, the WOPC Championship will be decided in a FATAL 4 WAY. The Champion (yours truly) will defend against three of his toughest opponents to date – the vicious Colin Vassallo, the benevolent Heel Turn Tom, and the manbeast known as Mantaur Mike. Who will go into WrestleMania as the WOPC Champion? Let’s find out!

ON WITH THE PICKS!

Falls Count Anywhere
Drew McIntyre vs. Madcap Moss (with Happy Corbin)

Mantaur Mike: Drew is the obvious favorite, but I’m going with the “Mad Crap” that is Madcap Moss. If anyone knows about crap gimmicks, it’s me!

Heel Turn Tom: As Mike said, I’ll go with the obvious favorite – Drew McIntyre.

Colin: My interest in this match is of level zero. Can’t believe they’re wasting McIntyre in this feud. Totally useless. I’m picking Drew for the win here.

Magnum: Theoretically, Moss could benefit from a huge win here, plus it wouldn’t hurt Drew all that much – he could make up for it with a Mania win against these clowns. Still, it’s about momentum, so I’m running with Drew here.

Women’s Elimination Chamber
Winner is #1 Contender to Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania XXXVIII
Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop vs. Nikki A.S.H. vs. Alexa Bliss

Mantaur Mike: I got a feeling that Doudrop is going to make an impact in this match. I think she could take the whole thing – give me Doudrop in a huge upset.

Heel Turn Tom: Bianca Belair – she’s going in last, and she wants revenge on Becky.

Colin: Considering how Bianca is still waiting for her revenge on Becky, I am putting my money on a Belair win here. Then again, Ripley was booked so strong on Raw and that doesn’t happen for nothing. While I’m seeing Becky vs Bianca as the match for WrestleMania, I wouldn’t be too shocked if Ripley is added to the mix too. This should be a good match, and one I’m looking forward to. Bianca wins.

Magnum: Bianca going in last makes me think they could book a shocking finish where she ends up losing. However, I can’t go against my gut instinct, so I’m taking Bianca to win this and return to WrestleMania as the #1 Contender for the Women’s Championship.

Ronda Rousey and Naomi vs. Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville

Mantaur Mike: This one is a piece of cake – Rousey and Naomi dominate.

Heel Turn Tom: Rousey and Naomi will take this one with ease.

Colin: Ronda freakin Rousey is not losing in her first match since returning, right? Yeah, no she’s not. This should be all Naomi vs Deville and the other two Mania main eventers taking a back seat but I doubt that will happen. Rousey and Naomi win.

Magnum: I’m glad that Naomi and Sonya are going to get a PPV match here – this has been a very underrated feud on Smackdown over the last six months. I’ll take Ronda and Naomi to win here, with Naomi finally getting a little revenge on Ms. Deville.

Rey Mysterio (with Dominik Mysterio) vs. The Miz (with Maryse)

Mantaur Mike: I can’t stand the frat boy from Parma, Ohio, but give me The Miz to win this one.

Heel Turn Tom: I’m taking Rey Mysterio here – should be a great match.

Colin: If Maryse is there, she won’t be wearing her usual outfits, which makes this a boring match. LOL! Okay kidding kidding. With Rey being splashed all over the place for WWE 2K22, I don’t see him losing here. Rey Mysterio wins.

Magnum: Rey’s on the cover of the video game “WWE 2K22”, right? Very good – he’s not losing here. They’ve got video games to sell, damn it. Rey wins.

WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lita

Mantaur Mike: I’m part of the “Lynch Mob” – give me Big Time Becks to retain the championship and go on to WrestleMania as Raw Women’s Champion.

Heel Turn Tom: It’s awesome to see Lita, but I’m going to say Becky Lynch wins and retains her championship.

Colin: This should be a fun match but even Stevie Wonder can see this outcome coming from 10 miles away. There’s no way they’re putting the title on Lita, and she’s not booked for further shows I believe, so The Man comes to Saudi with the title and The Man leaves Saudi with the title. And the Nature Boy will still get mad about it. Wooooo!

Magnum: This is one match where I could actually see Lita winning (but not necessarily winning the championship). Having said that, if Becky is crowing about being champion for three years, then a loss right before Mania would be slightly embarrassing. So I’ll take Big Time Becks to win and retain.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (c) vs. The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar)

Mantaur Mike: The Usos got this one in the bag – Raiders don’t stand a chance. The Usos retain their titles.

Heel Turn Tom: The Usos will be victorious and retain their WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship.

Colin: You can never go wrong with The Usos in a match. They’re hard workers and a great tag team. Their latest run is phenomenal and I enjoy watching them work. I don’t see the Bloodline losing titles today, so Usos with the W.

Magnum: Until last night’s Smackdown, The Usos have completely dominated this feud. I don’t give the Viking Raiders a chance in hell – The Usos win it and retain their tag titles.

WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Goldberg

Mantaur Mike: Paul E. will play a big role in this – I’ll take Roman Reigns to defend the title successfully.

Heel Turn Tom: I’m also rolling with The Tribal Chief – Roman Reigns defeats Goldberg and retains his WWE Universal Championship.

Colin: I am hoping this will be fast and furious and not more than 10 minutes on my clock. With entrances. Listen, I get why Goldberg still gets asked to do these matches. He’s a draw, he gets people talking, but I hate that every time he comes back it’s for the title just because he’s Goldberg. This is the Mania match we never got but Roman wins.

Magnum: If this goes longer than five minutes, I’ll be shocked. Goldberg has some pretty bad luck in these Saudi shows, although his last match with Lashley was pretty good. Still, Roman’s on a roll, and I don’t see that train slowing down anytime soon. Roman Reigns wins and retains the title.

Men’s Elimination Chamber – WWE Championship
Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Austin Theory vs. Riddle vs. AJ Styles

Mantaur Mike: I can’t go against the real BEAST, Brock Lesnar. He’s winning the Chamber match and becoming WWE Champion once again.

Heel Turn Tom: I’m also taking Brock Lesnar in this one – new WWE Champion.

Colin: I love Brock, but I’ll be pissed if he wins this one. Why take the title off him in the first place? I hate it when they flip flop titles this quickly. And the title for title shouldn’t happen unless the brand split is ending. Otherwise, I’m fine with two main titles. Anyway, rant over. Lesnar is the favorite to win, but I’m going to stick with Bobby Lashley as the champion and winner of this match.

Magnum: Part of me agrees with Colin – I’d love to see Lashley stun all of us and hold on to the WWE Championship. There’s another part of me that would love to see a dark horse like Riddle or Seth Rollins come out on top. Having said that, we all know where this is headed – Champion vs. Champion, title for title, Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns. Lesnar’s going to run roughshod through the competition, en route to his second WWE Championship this year. Give me Brock Lesnar to take the whole enchilada and become the new WWE Champion.

Well, there you have wrestling fans! We hope you’ll enjoy the Elimination Chamber event, and we will see you next time for the PPV Pick’em report! @TheMagnumDA signing off.

Full betting odds for today’s Elimination Chamber 2022 premium live event

We are just a few hours away from the Elimination Chamber and for the first time ever the show is held outside the United States as part of the 10-year deal with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah.

There are a total of eight matches on the card set for this afternoon including four title matches. We will take a look at the betting odds for the full card below and remember, always be careful when placing bets with real money as these odds might and will probably change. In the meantime, if you are into casinos, you can find here the link to the best new online casinos at https://www.twincities.com/2022/03/23/best-new-casino-sites/.

The men’s Elimination Chamber match will be for the WWE title and odds don’t look in favor for current champion Bobby Lashley. In fact, it’s Brock Lesnar who is the favorite to win this match and the title with 1/3 odds and the champ is 13/4 to retain. Seth Rollins is 5/1, Riddle is 6/1, AJ Styles is 7/1, and Austin Theory is unlikely to walk out with with anyone other than an ass whooping with odds of 66/1.

Whoever wins the women’s Elimination Chamber will go on to WrestleMania to face the Raw Women’s champion. Bianca Belair looks to be in the driving seat at the moment with 1/3 odds just like Brock Lesnar. Alexa Bliss, a late addition to the match, is 19/10, while Rhea Ripley is 15/4. Liv Morgan and Doudrop are 15/1 and 22/1 respectively while Nikki A.S.H. is N.O.T. likely to win at 50/1.

The Man is making her first appearance in Saudi Arabia and with 1/20 odds, it looks like she will be “putting down” her idol Lita. Lita is 7/1 to win the Raw Women’s title but there’s no way that’s going to happen, right?

Roman Reigns and Goldberg will be the WrestleMania main event we never got a few years ago and this is Goldberg’s last match on his current deal. With that said, the Tribal Chief is 1/20 favorite and pretty much a lock while Goldberg is 7/1 to win the title.

Ronda Rousey and Naomi will be teaming up, although Rousey will have one hand tied behind her back, in their match against Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville. The Rousey/Naomi team are favorite at 2/13 to win despite the handicap while Flair/Deville are at 7/2.

The Usos defend their Smackdown Tag Team titles against the Viking Raiders and Jimmy and Jey are 1/14 favorites to retain while Erik and Ivar are 11/2 to win.

The face of WWE 2K22 Rey Mysterio takes on The Miz and the master of the 619 has odds of 11/20 and favorite while Miz is 5/4.

And the last match on the card, Drew McIntyre will battle Madcap Moss in a falls count anywhere match and currently McIntyre is favorite at 1/5 to win while Moss is 3/1.

Superstars and legends react to The Undertaker’s Hall of Fame announcement

WWE’s announcement about The Undertaker headlining the Hall of Fame class of 2022 was obviously welcomed by fans, critics, and Superstars.

A locker room leader for the majority of his 30-year career in WWE, The Undertaker received many congratulations from his peers.

“Congratulations to @undertaker on his induction into the #wwehof! No one, and I mean NO ONE, deserves it more. The Undertaker is truly iconic and transcends @WWE. The man behind the character is just as impressive! I am absolutely thrilled! CONGRATULATIONS,” wrote Glenn “Kane” Jacobs, who portrayed his on-screen brother during the glory days of WWE.

“Absolutely no one has had as big an effect over as long of a career as @Undertaker,” wrote Triple H. “He is the measuring stick of this industry, in and out of the ring, and now takes his well-deserved place in the #WWEHOF!”

The man that Taker retired, Shawn Michaels, said he had the pleasure, and often times pain, of being in the ring with him. “I count him among the absolute best and someone I consider a close friend. Congratulations and welcome to the #WWEHOF club,” he said.

Ric Flair credits The Undertaker for helping him with his confidence issues when he asked to wrestle him at WrestleMania. “Congratulations @undertaker! This is as big as the day that Stone Cold @steveaustinBSR went in! Thanks for all that you’ve done for the business & for me personally! WrestleMania 38 bets bigger every day! WOOOOO!,” the Nature Boy wrote.

AJ Styles has the privilege to say that he was The Undertaker’s last opponent. “No one like him. He is truly a PHENOM in every sense of the word,” Styles wrote. “A Hall of Fame career earned over 30 years of hard work and dedication in @WWE. Congratulations, Taker.”

John “Bradshaw” Layfield had many battles with the Dead Man and described him as “the best I was ever in the ring with and a pure class act,” adding that it’s not a Hall of Fame without the Undertaker in it.

“I knew the first time I ever met the @undertaker in the ring that he was destined for greatness,” added Jerry Lawler. “It’s been great to be along to watch your ride!! Congratulations my friend…”

Kurt Angle described The Undertaker as the godfather of pro wrestling. “Nobody deserves it more than you my friend,” he wrote.

WWE Hall Of Famer herself Trish Stratus said she was captivated by his awe-inspiring entrances when she was a kid. “A legend. An icon. There will NEVER be another so impactful. Thank you @undertaker,” Trish tweeted.

WWE marketing Saturday live events as Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE is rebranding a few of their non-televised live events which fall on a Saturday and now are marketing them as Saturday Night’s Main Event.

There are two entries – the April 23 show in Montgomery, Alabama, and the April 30 show, in Lakeland, Florida – which are getting this branding. These are the first Saturday live events following WrestleMania and there are no other live events listed yet for the month of May or June.

Both these shows are from the Raw brand with the Alabama show promoting Lashley vs Rollins vs AJ Styles in a triple threat match for the WWE title. Card is obviously subject to change and means nothing at the moment heading into WrestleMania.

WWE has not used the name of Saturday Night’s Main Event since 2008 when they had a few shows airing on NBC on a Saturday night. The specials were a staple back in the late 80s and major angles were shot on those shows.

These events will not be televised and they’re using the brand as a way to spice up ticket sales and making the live event feel a bit more special.

Rousey to have one arm tied behind her back as a stipulation for tag match today

Ronda Rousey will have one arm tied behind her back in today’s match at the Elimination Chamber, with the stipulation added on last night’s Smackdown.

Ronda previously stated that she could beat Sonya with one arm and last night during the contract signing, Deville said she pitched the idea to the people in charge and managed to get the stipulation added to the contract.

Ronda wasn’t happy but agreed to it anyway, mentioning that one arm is more than enough. Thankfully, Naomi will be using both her hands.

The tag match will also see Charlotte Flair, who Rousey will be facing at WrestleMania in April.

Early betting odds for the 2022 Elimination Chamber top matches

WWE is back on Peacock tomorrow for the Elimination Chamber live from Jeddah in Saudi Arabia at a special start time of Noon ET. Today we will take a look at the betting odds for the top three matches on the card and then tomorrow, a few hours before the show, we will publish all the odds for the whole card.

The WWE title will be defended inside the Elimination Chamber and will feature Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Riddle, and Austin Theory. Lesnar is currently the favorite to win the match and the title with odds of 2/5 while the champion Lashley is 3/1 to keep the title. Seth Rollins is third with odds of 9/2, Riddle is at 6/1, AJ Styles at 7/1, and Austin Theory is a write off with odds of 50/1.

A women’s Elimination Chamber will also be held with the winner taking on the Raw Women’s champion at WrestleMania. Bianca Belair is the favorite as of this moment with odds of 1/3 while the returning Alexa Bliss is 19/10. Rhea Ripley is 15/4 to win, Liv Morgan is at 15/1, Doudrop at 22/1, and Nikki A.S.H. gets the Austin Theory treatment with odds of 45/1.

And in the Universal title match, it’s Roman Reigns defending his gold against Hall of Famer Goldberg. The Head of the Table is the overwhelming favorite with 1/16 odds while Goldberg is 6/1 for the upset.

Tony Khan working on “something pretty big” which will be “a big deal”

Appearing on Busted Open Radio today, AEW President Tony Khan said that he’s working on “something pretty big” and told fans to stay tuned in the week ahead.

As it has often been the case following a Dynamite which does not get the desired rating, Khan has promised to have, according to his own words, something “massive” which it’s not something anyone would expect or think it is.

“But it would be a big deal in pro wrestling. I’m looking forward to hopefully making it happen. Stay tuned…I will hopefully get it done and have more to announce soon,” Khan added.

Last week Khan promised a forbidden door moment, which originally was Keith Lee, but then he admitted that he butchered his own version of forbidden door and Lee was a free agent, so he scrambled to get Jay White over the weekend to meet the fans’ expectations.

Dynamite rating for 02/16/2022

This week’s Dynamite drew a total of 869,000 viewers, down 260,000 viewers from last week’s broadcast. This was the least-watched Dynamite since December 1, 2021 and the lowest number of viewers since the move to TBS. The show did a 0.31 in the 18-49 demo, down .10 from last week and the lowest since December 15. Dynamite placed #3 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)

NXT: Level Up debuts tonight on WWE Network

WWE’s newest TV show NXT: Level Up debuts tonight on WWE Network starting at 10PM ET.

Replacing 205 Live, LVL UP will feature the up-and-coming stars from NXT and the WWE Performance Center and it’s taped every Tuesday in conjunction with NXT on USA Network.

The first three matches of episode one will feature Harland vs Javier Bernal, Fallon Henley and Kayla Inlay vs Tatum Paxley and Ivy Nile, and Kushida vs Edris Enofe.

Nigel McGuinness and new hire Sudu Shah will be on the commentary table while Alicia Taylor and Kelly Kincaid will handle ring announcing.

Kairi Sane returning to the ring for Stardom in Japan

Former NXT Women’s champion Kairi Sane is returning to the ring…but in her native home of Japan for Stardom.

The 33-year-old took part in a Stardom press conference today and she will be wrestling at the Stardom World Climax events in late March, two events which will take place at the Sumo Hall.

Kairi, who is now going just by that name, looks like she will be tagging with Mayu Iwatani to take on Unagi Sayaka and Tam Nakano in a tag team match.

She wrestled for Stardom between 2011 and 2017 and then joined WWE where she was part of NXT and later the main roster. After departing the United States in 2020, she took an ambassadorial role for WWE in Japan.

Kairi held several titles during her first Stardom stint and did pretty well in WWE as well, winning the Mae Young Classic, NXT Women’s title, and WWE Women’s Tag Team titles with Asuka.

Corey & Carmella reality show coming to WWE’s YouTube

A new WWE reality show will be coming to YouTube and will be titled Corey & Carmella, featuring the Raw color commentator and the former Smackdown Women’s champion.

During their latest podcast, the two revealed that they were originally approached by Glass Entertainment Group, the producers of tons of reality TV shows, to come up with a show together and after the presenting the idea to WWE, the company gave the green light and shot a pilot episode.

The pilot episode has been split up in 10 parts, each of them of four minutes each, and will be part of WWE’s YouTube channel.

The two thanked for WWE for their support on the show and promised that fans would get more of themselves – Matt and Leah – rather than the characters they play on TV.

Tickets for Smackdown and 2022 WWE Hall of Fame on sale on February 22

The 2022 WWE Hall of Fame will be shown live on the WWE Network on Friday, April 1.

The show will be held at the American Airlines Center following the conclusion of Friday Night Smackdown, giving the WWE production team a headache to transform the arena from a live Smackdown to a Hall of Fame setting as quickly as possible.

Tickets for the Smackdown and Hall of Fame ceremony will go on sale this Tuesday, February 22, at 10AM CT on Ticketmaster.com. There’s no entry on Ticketmaster yet so it’s hard to judge how seating will be done for the double-header show without a seating map.

This will be the first Hall of Fame with fans since the 2019 Hall of Fame. WWE skipped the 2020 ceremony due to the pandemic and then held the 2021 ceremony and inducted the 2020 class as well inside the ThunderDome with no fans, no intros, and just quick speeches.

The Undertaker to headline the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2022

WWE today announced that The Undertaker will be headlining the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2022 this coming April on the eve of WrestleMania.

With a career spanning over three decades and a WrestleMania record that will likely never be matched, the 56-year-old Phenom has done it all in the wrestling business and an induction into the Hall of Fame is the final accolade for him in this industry.

The Undertaker had his last match at WrestleMania 36 in a Boneyard match against AJ Styles and then had a send off – in an empty arena – at the Survivor Series, exactly 30 years after his incredible WWE debut.

But while we have not seen him since then, the Dead Man will get his one final entrance in front of thousands of people at the AT&T Stadium at WrestleMania when WWE presents its Hall of Fame class.

The Undertaker will give his first comments on his Hall of Fame induction when he joins The TODAY Show tomorrow morning on NBC.

A near five-minute video celebrating The Undertaker’s legendary career with Metallica’s song Sad But True and Kid Rock’s American Bad Ass has just been published by WWE and you can see it below.

First look at the Elimination Chamber 2022 set up at the Jeddah Super Dome

With two days to go, WWE Superstars are already in Saudi Arabia as they prepare for the Elimination Chamber and participate in community events around Jeddah.

WWE already took over the Jeddah Super Dome and the building of the set is pretty much complete. The Arabic @WrestlinClub Twitter account got exclusive footage of the Elimination Chamber built in the middle of the massive Super Dome structure, showing the usual big LED screen as the backdrop, the long entrance, the four steel structures supporting the lighting rig and the Chamber, and the video screens which will beam pictures to the audience.

According to TicketMX, no more tickets are available for the Elimination Chamber which means that the show is sold out. While the Jeddah Super Dome seats up to 35,000 people, there will be considerably less since the big stage and the ring set up occupies most of the floor.

This will be unlike any other WWE event as the Super Dome is built differently and there are no “nose bleed” seats, ensuring that everyone will have a great seat and view.
