In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that it was Diamond Dallas Page who found Scott Hall laying on the floor after he fell and broke his hip.
Hall spent a few days on the floor unable to move and unable to get to a phone to call for help and after friends tried to reach Hall and couldn’t, DDP was sent over for a welfare check. Hall was transported to a hospital immediately after.
Close friend Sean Waltman also added that Hall was in a bad shape after he resorted back to drinking due to the pandemic, where he was living alone. Waltman noted that Hall was down to 210 pounds and a month before his death, he had offered Hall to go and stay with him.
Hall underwent surgery for a hip replacement at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, but a blood clot resulted in three consecutive heart attacks, forcing doctors to put him on life support.
He passed away on March 14, a day after family members were told his situation was not going to improve. He was taken off life support and died a few hours later.

Appearing on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy Hardy podcast, AEW’s Jeff Hardy explained that what he did at that December 4 WWE live event when he walked out of the match was “maybe the smartest thing” he has ever done.
“That night in Edinburg for some reason I finished my heat. I took the heat, and I just said ‘I’m ready to go.’ Went over the railing, disappeared into the crowd and naturally they think I took something, like drugs or whatever, but I didn’t,” Jeff explained.
He said things happen for a reason and felt like he was guided by “something higher” than him when he decided to split.
The way Hardy was talking felt like it was premeditated to get fired although later he said he wasn’t trying to get released to join AEW, but it was the right thing to do.
Jeff mentioned that the first day he was in AEW, he felt more “valuable for the first time” whereas in WWE, all they cared about was to keep him to sell more merchandise.’
Judging from what Hardy said through his interview, it doesn’t look like he has any desire to ever return to WWE and said he was offended when they offered him a spot in the Hall of Fame after he got released.

AEW’s newest arrival, Paige VanZant, revealed that she is not done with MMA fighting despite signing with AEW this month.
Speaking to WFAN’s Carton & Roberts, VanZant said, “I think people have this idea that you have to stick with one thing, but being a mixed martial artist, and being in this sport, you can evolve and can focus on one aspect at any given time. Definitely not retired from MMA.”
VanZant said she went through some bullying when she was a kid and her father was a big fan of MMA. One day, she asked her parents if she could give it a go and while her mother wasn’t sure, her father eventually took her to her first MMA class.
“I started fighting when I was 15. That passion got sparked in me at a young age, and just because I grew up and matured, doesn’t mean I changed who I was…I know I’ll be successful at absolutely anything,” she said. “You don’t stop your dreams in fear of your looks…I’ve been asked about professional wrestling for a really long time. I kind of always knew it would be a part of my journey and part of my life, I just didn’t know when the opportunity would take off.”
During the interview, VanZant also discussed how a mixup on her plane ticket nearly got her to miss the flight on the way to an AEW show. She said her flight was booked under her maiden name but legally she uses her husband’s last name.
“They booked it under the wrong last name, [went] up to TSA, and they were trying to get me to be able to take the flight. I Googled myself and was like, ‘This is who I am, I swear I’m the same person!’ There’s articles out there, all this crazy stuff [pops up]…I did get my mother to send me a copy of my marriage certificate!”
Logan Paul told TalkSPORT in an interview that he could see himself dedicating more time to WWE depending on how WrestleMania turns out and how the fans react to him.
He said that he fell in love with wrestling and doing training was “f*cking fun” so if he can soak in that energy at WrestleMania and feel there’s a future for him there, for sure he’s going to have a run at it.
“But it’s not my decision, it’s up to the fans,” Paul said. “Either love me or hate me…that’s great. But if they’re indifferent to me, we got a f*cking problem and I’ll probably get out of this sport.”
Paul also compared his relationship with Vince McMahon as one with a step father. “He’s like the guy you have a good relationship with, a firm handshake, ‘how you doing? I respect you, I’m glad to have you here’ and it’s just a really positive relationship,” Paul said.
He noted that Vince always welcomed him with open arms and considers their relationship to be a positive one, describing McMahon as “awesome.”
Paul will be tagging with The Miz at WrestleMania to take on Rey and Dominik Mysterio. This is his second WrestleMania in a row after last year he was involved in the Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens match and ate a Stunner at the end.
It took a couple of tries, but Thunder Rosa yesterday became the new AEW Women’s champion after she defeated Britt Baker in an excellent steel cage match which headlined the St. Patrick’s Day Slam episode of Dynamite on TBS.
With blood, thumbtacks, and chairs, Rosa finally was able to dethrone Baker with her Fire Thunder Driver finisher to win the match and the title. Rosa got the superstar entrance in her adoptive hometown of San Antonio with an all-women mariachi band introducing her and then confetti celebrating her win after a hard-fought match.
Rosa is the fifth AEW Women’s champion and ends Britt Baker’s impressive 290-day run as champion, a title show won back at the 2021 Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 30.
The 35-year-old lost her title shot against Baker at the Revolution pay-per-view a few weeks ago but finally got her revenge yesterday. This was the second time that the two headlined Dynamite as last year they also got the top billing for the fantastic lights out match which Rosa won.
Seth Rollins made a quick appearance, literally, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon yesterday.
In a segment that lasted pretty much one minute, host Jimmy Fallon was reading a question as part of the “audience suggestion box” segment and the question was if he could combine St. Patrick’s Day and WWE.
Fallon said he could and in fact, Rollins was there to deliver a stomp to a leprechaun!
Rollins’ theme hit the speakers to a big ovation from the crowd and out come Rollins laughing, hitting the leprechaun and then delivering the stomp as promised. Once that was over, Rollins headed to the back.
The former WWE champion is still without a match at WrestleMania and the angle being played on Raw is him trying to find a path to the show.
Considering slot machines take up the greatest amount of space in casinos, the great majority of casino visitors will engage in at least one slot game at any one time. There is a wide range of games in an Online Casino Singapore so that the game will suit everyone’s tastes. To ensure that each slot is fully random, the online slot game makes use of a random number generator computer, which creates random sequences every millisecond to ensure that each slot is completely random. All slot machines and licenced casinos rely on a random number generator to guarantee that all games are fair. Previous spins do not influence the winning sequence created in this round, which is completely unpredictable and generated at the time of the spin.
Make sure to choose the best online slot games
Every online gambler’s dream is to learn the best sorts of slot machines to play and the best strategies for increasing your chances of winning at the slot machines. Slot machines having the highest Return to Player (RTP) offer the best chances of winning (RTP). These slot machines do not pay out at periodic intervals, so you cannot be certain that you will win on every spin. Inexperienced gamers often feel that all slots are the same and that the only difference between them is the features, bonuses, and graphics. Finding a slot machine that pays out more than the others is one of the most effective strategies to improve your chances of winning slots. When it comes to picking which slot machine to play, the Return to Player (RTP) is an important factor to take into consideration.
Online slots with Progressive Jackpots
The desire of playing progressive slots may be quite strong when you first begin to play slot in Singapore casino Singapore, so be cautious about giving it a try. The massive amounts of real money that may be won while playing jackpot slots almost make them seem too good to be true. In situations when the chances against you are high and your bankroll is limited, it is not recommended to play a progressive slot machine. Progressive slots have the lowest return on investment (RTI) in the gaming industry. As a result of this, in order to be eligible for the greatest jackpots, you must always gamble the maximum amount of money, which means you may end up spending more money than you can afford to lose before you ever get close to winning anything at all.
Make use of the bonuses as an advantage
The best place to start if you’ve never played at an Online Gambling casino before is one that provides the most generous welcome bonuses. Because of this, you will be able to play more often while also increasing your chances of winning. Even while the free spins you get are often only valid for a limited number of slot machines, they may be quite useful in narrowing down your options and discovering a game you like. Free spins are often provided to new players as a method to get them to try out all of the casino’s games. Before putting any money into an online casino, be sure you have read and understood the terms and conditions of any promotions. If you take advantage of such incentives, your chances of winning are significantly increased.
Know the benefits of the free spin slot games
Playing free online slots is the most enjoyable way to spend time or to engage in your favourite game. They are available at a large number of online casinos, as well as independent gaming reviews. Free games may not provide the same level of enjoyment as playing a real money slot machine, but they may provide enough entertainment to keep you occupied during a long wait or to help you save money. As a consequence, when playing online casino games, take advantage of the advantages and benefits of free Slot online. If you want to improve your chances of winning at online casino games, you should pay attention to the following tips and methods. By playing free slots, it is possible to have a greater grasp of the rules and regulations regarding online casino games.
NXT on USA Network, headlined by Dolph Ziggler vs LA Knight for the title and featuring appearances by The Miz and the Mysterios, drew a total of 624,000 viewers, up 11,000 viewers from the previous week and best number since January 11. In 18-49 demo, NXT drew a 0.14, up 0.01 from last week and placed #44 in the top 50 cable chart. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
Tonight’s episode of Dynamite is themed as St. Patrick’s Day Slam and will be headlined by the women as Dr. Britt Baker will be defending her AEW Women’s title against Thunder Rosa again, but this time it will be inside a steel cage.
That’s not the only title match scheduled for tonight as Scorpio Sky is also defending his TNT title against Wardlow, who won the opportunity at the Revolution pay-per-view after he won the ladder match.
Three other matches announced include Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley versus Chuck Taylor and Wheeler Yuta, a six-man tag team match with Adam Cole and ReDRagon taking on the champions Jurassic Express and Hangman Page, and The Hardys debut against Private Party.
In an interview with WWE UK broadcaster BT Sport, United States champion Finn Balor explained why he disappeared from WWE television in January and missed the Royal Rumble.
“I didn’t want to take any time off. I didn’t want to miss any shows, I didn’t need any time off, I wasn’t injured,” Balor explained before saying that his working U.S. visa expired and had to go back home.
Overstaying a U.S. visa is a sure bet to get banned from entering the United States again so needing to sort it out is a very important procedure. Balor said that he needed to go back to Ireland, visit the U.S. Embassy there and get it renewed.
“It was strictly a legal paperwork issue that had to be rectified,” Balor said.
He added that it was pushed and pushed and pushed due to COVID because they couldn’t travel and when a window opened, he had to go and do it.
“The time off was taken reluctantly,” smiled Balor, noting that the issue now has been taken care of for the next 10 years.

The talk show segment featuring “the A-lister”, The Miz, made its way from Raw to NXT, in order to interview the new champion, Dolph Ziggler. What began as a session of mutual admiration between The Miz and Dolph, was quickly interrupted by NXT’s LA Knight.
Knight proceeded to challenge Ziggler to a match for his championship title. Ziggler responded saying “I only fight Superstars.” Knight then responded, “I’m not a Superstar, I’m a megastar.”
Ziggler was quick on the draw yet again replying that he only wrestled in main events. The Miz then suggested that Knight fight Ziggler in the main event, which, would close out the show.
In the back, McKenzie Mitchell asked Cora Jade how she felt about her partner Raquel Gonzalez being injured on last week’s episode, and whether or not she felt that the team of Toxic Attraction would be looking to injure her as they had her partner.
Jade responded that she would be on the lookout for Toxic Attraction, but she was quite sure they would be looking for her too. The camera then panned out to show that Jade had captured all three championships from the members of Toxic Attraction, thus, ensuring that the team would certainly be seeking her in order to get their property back.
Cameron Grimes vs Santos Escobar for a spot in the ladder match for the North American title
Grimes is well known for being a goofball who brags about sending opponents, “to the moon”, and the massive riches he made using crypto currency. However, Grimes now had to put all jokes aside in order to defeat Santos Escobar.
Unsurprisingly, Grimes opted to keep the highflying Escobar closer to the ground. However, Escobar seemed well-prepared, attacking Grimes with kicks and jabs. In fact, forcing Grimes to the ground seemed to be Escobar’s plan all along. Escobar ended up pressing Grimes to the mat for a pin fall victory.
Winner: Santos Escobar
A–Kid vs Kushida
A–Kid has been making waves in the WWE since his arrival on the company’s UK brand. However, this match may have been the first time that American fans got to see what he was capable of. His ground and pound style has certainly been entertaining to watch on the UK brand, and his style has not changed at all since he traveled across the pond. He and Kushida were very well matched pinning one another to the mat and reversing each other’s pins so fast that it was often hard to tell who had the upper hand. However, it was the UK sensation who gained his first victory for the American version of NXT.
Winner: A-Kid
Tiffany Stratton vs Sarray
Sarray, the recruit from the Land of the Rising Sun, has certainly had a rough start on this brand. She came last year only to leave abruptly. However, it seems that her trip back home to Japan had a good effect on her. She returned with a necklace from her grandmother which is meant to give her special powers, which should help her defeat her opponents. However, if you spread around the locker room that you have a special secret which helps you win matches, someone will soon try to take away.
In Sarray’s case that someone has been Tiffany Stratton. Before Sarray entered the ring, Stratton attacked, ripping the necklace off of Sarray’s neck. She then proceeded to kick Sarray all the way down the entrance ramp. Being exhausted from her trip down to the ring it is no surprise that Sarray wasn’t able to dodge Stratton’s kicks, resulting in a quick victory for Stratton.
Winner: Tiffany Stratton
Next was a segment between Tony D’Angelo and Tommaso Ciampa. At first, this appeared to be a farewell segment for the NXT mainstay. Ciampa has been a featured superstar on the brand since 2015, delighting fans with various reincarnations of himself and his character. We have all cheered him or booed depending on which character he was trying to evoke that day. He expressed his gratitude to all the fans who have stuck by him no matter what, and for the home he has found with the brand. This was greeted by chants of “please don’t go” and “thank you Ciampa.”
Just when it appeared that Ciampa was about to take a well-deserved ride into the sunset, Tony D’Angelo crept up behind him. Everyone watching thought that D’Angelo was going to use his infamous crowbar to whack Ciampa over the head, but instead, he talked about how Ciampa had always been “the guy” of the brand, and D’Angelo wanted to beat him in order to prove that he was now “the guy”. He then challenged Ciampa to a match at the Stand and Deliver show, which Ciampa accepted.
Indi Hartwell vs Persia Pirotta
These two former friends have been at odds person ever since Persia started dating Duke Hudson. There have been accusations that Hartwell was trying to steal Hudson from Persia, and that Hartwell was cheating on her husband, Dexter Lumis. However, this match, which was meant to settle differences between the two, suddenly turned into one massive kissing contest, with both women practically stripping their men, and making out with them on the mat. I don’t think this was one of WWE’s better match ideas.
Winner: Indi Hartwell
Dominik Mysterio versus Raul Mendoza
Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik made a surprise appearance on the show after Santos Escobar declared himself the greatest Luchador ever. Dominik defended his father declaring that Rey was in fact the greatest Luchador. Escobar then suggested that Dominik defend his father’s legacy in a match against Mendoza. Dominik accepted.
At first, it seemed as though Mendoza was going to gain the victory over Dominik probably due to the fact that Mendoza has more in ring experience than Dominik. However, Dominik had some help from an unlikely source new superstar, Fallon Henley, who distracted Mendoza by stepping onto the apron. This helped Dominik to gain his first victory on NXT.
Winner: Dominik Mysterio
Dolph Ziggler vs LA Knight for the NXT title
This was a good match which had both men trading moves. Ziggler had the upper hand most of the match but with Knight regaining control slowly, we see Bron Breakker coming from he parking lot. There was an interference from Bobby Roode, which didn’t work at first, but then he helped Ziggler avoid the pinfall after placing his foot on the rope to break the count. The match ended with Ziggler hitting a superkick and covering Knight for the three-count.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
After the match, Bron Breakker enters the ring and confronts the champ, only after he gets rid of Roode though. Breakker challenges Ziggler for the title and Ziggler accepts. Stand & Deliver main event set!
Former NXT UK Women’s champion Toni Storm is launching her official OnlyFans page in three days on March 19.
With the tag line “Badass Wrestler with the Best Ass. Phat Ass Aussie,” Storm is selling subscriptions to her page for $19.99 per month. OnlyFans is notorious for having risky photos so it will be interesting to see what kind of media Storm will be sharing on her profile.
The Australian star surprisingly quit WWE in late December, a week after she wrestled for the Smackdown Women’s title against Charlotte Flair. It was Storm who asked for her release, a wish which was swiftly granted by the company.
Storm started with WWE in 2017 as part of the Mae Young Classic tournament and was then part of the NXT UK brand, winning the NXT UK Women’s title from Rhea Ripley in January 2019. She lost the title six months later to Kay Lee Ray and moved to NXT in the United States before being called up to the main roster in July 2021.
Former WWE champion Big E is now recovering at home in Tampa, Florida, after spending a few days in the hospital after he broke his neck on Friday Night Smackdown.
E suffered a fractured C1 and C6 vertebrae after he landed right on his head following a belly-to-belly suplex at ringside from Ridge Holland. He was taken straight to the hospital where scans showed a broken neck.
Thankfully, he will not require surgery but it will be an uncomfortable few months for The New Day member, wearing a neck brace and not being able to do pretty much anything as he slowly recovers.
“I used to endure difficult things in my life and I felt very alone. But I feel so immeasurably loved and supported,” Big E wrote in a tweet today. “I was not prepared for the sheer volume of DMs, calls, texts, visits, etc. I’ll never be able to adequately thank you all.”
Big E noted how Birmingham took good care of him and joked earlier that if you had to break your neck, do it in Birmingham, Alabama.
The NXT Stand & Deliver card from Dallas, Texas, quickly took shape last night on NXT on USA Network with four matches added to the show plus the one that was already announced before.
The first match which was announced a few weeks ago is a ladder match for the NXT North American title. So far, champion Carmelo Hayes and Santos Escobar are part of this match. Next week, two qualifying matches will take place with Solo Sikoa vs Roderick Strong and A-Kid vs Grayson Waller. The winners of those two matches will advance. A fifth member is also expected to be added before the show comes around.
Three more title matches were confirmed as well, including NXT champion Dolph Ziggler defending against Bron Breakker, NXT Women’s champion Mandy Rose taking on Cora Jade, and Imperium versus The Creed Brothers vs MSK in a triple threat match for the NXT Tag Team titles.
Tommaso Ciampa vs Tony D’Angelo is also another match which was added to the card.
NXT special events usually feature five matches so this looks like it will be the final card.
Tickets for NXT Stand & Deliver are available now on Ticketmaster.com starting from just $21.
