Ring of Honor sale to Tony Khan officially closes

AEW President Tony Khan today wrote that it’s his first official day as Ring of Honor owner as the deal has just closed.

Khan announced his intent to take over Ring of Honor from Sinclair Broadcast Group on March 2 during a live Dynamite on TBS. A few months earlier, ROH paused operations and released everyone from under contract as it evaluated its future, with the plan to restart business with the Supercard of Honor during WrestleMania weekend.

But Khan went in for the kill and purchased Ring of Honor in full, including rights and the most important asset of the company – the video library.

Khan eventually went ahead with the already-announced Supercard of Honor, with the show being a huge success and ushering a new era for the popular indie promotion. Since then, several ROH title matches have taken place on Dynamite and Rampage.

The sale of Ring of Honor was done directly to Tony Khan and not to All Elite Wrestling. Khan intends to run the promotion with weekly television although there are no deals in place yet. Lately, Khan has said that he’s had conversations with WarnerMedia to see how they can help with ROH.

James noted how he knew Punk from running in the same “straight edge” circles and met a few years ago and vowed to work with him in some way.

“We kind of crafted this for him actually,” he said. “We knew we wanted to get into the storyline with Rocco and to do right by the veterans. And then we kind of were like, ‘well, what are the right ingredients to tell this story? And then this is a perfect opportunity to finally work with Phil. He’s the man.”

How to effectively and safely buy YouTube views?

Business processes are constantly evolving and to ensure high sales entrepreneurs focus on building trust, establishing emotional connections, and forming long-lasting relationships with customers. To date, video is the most effective format for the realization of current tasks, so for many people, YouTube is the priority choice. Platform algorithms are changing all the time, but one of the main and stable factors of content ranking is involvement. In this article, we will consider how to quickly increase the initial channel’s activity and ensure a quality start.

How to ensure a quick start in the promotion?

One of the indicators of high involvement is the number of user reactions. At the start, young channels increasingly feel the pressure of competition, and raising activity indicators becomes quite a complex and energy-consuming process. To quickly come out of the shadow of the competitors it’s no longer enough to play by the old rules, now most people automate the tasks of promotion with the help of professionals and buy real YouTube views, likes, comments, etc.

First, it allows you to quickly form a trusting impression, and create a demand for the content. As a result, new audiences will keep their attention on your content, more willingly immerse themselves in your channel, and advertising tactics will work more effectively. With high statistics, entrepreneurs build social proof and accelerate sales. People see that brand credibility is confirmed by the majority, feel trust and make purchase decisions more easily.

Moreover, high involvement signals to video hosting algorithms that your channel is trustworthy. Thus, you increase the chances to get to the top of search results and recommendations.

To get the quality results, order this service only in reputable companies that approach the issue of promotion professionally and provide an activity that appears due to real people and does not contradict the algorithms of video hosting.

How to amplify the involvement on the channel?

When people buy YouTube views, they implement one element of a successful strategy, and for long-lasting results, a comprehensive approach is important. An integral part of successful video promotion is quality optimization.

Video optimization starts with gathering a semantic core. Using special services, VidIQ or TubeBuddy, choose keywords relevant to your video and use them in the title, video description, and tags. This way you’ll influence indexing and get views from different sources: search on the platform, recommended videos, playlists, YouTube search cues, etc.

Competition for attention and traffic will be won by those channels whose content is well packaged. Therefore, create a high-quality cover, try to convey the plot of the video in one picture, use contrasting colors, and add a personal photo session. In the title, indicate the usefulness of the video, the relevance of the problem, keep the audience’s attention using triggers and bright adjectives.

To sum up, buying different activity metrics is an effective marketing move that, with the right approach, will create a trusted impression on your channel and start the process of its natural scaling. Video blogging is a long-term game, so keep it regular, watch for trends and strengthen your strategy with new tactics.

Roderick Strong reportedly asks for his WWE release multiple times

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling through his Select service is reporting that Roderick Strong has requested his release several times over the past few months but his requests have been denied on every occasion.

The former NXT Cruiserweight champion has been part of NXT since 2016 and the 38-year-old has not made it to the main roster yet. He was part of the very successful Undisputed Era from 2018 to 2021 and then was unveiled as the leader of The Diamond Mine.

Dark Side of the Ring dropped by VICE after Plane Ride From Hell controversies

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Dark Side of the Ring was not renewed for season four by VICE after several controversies stemming from the Plane Ride From Hell episode.

The series was the most popular show in the history of VICE but that did not save it from getting canned. Apparently, those interviewed for the Plane Ride From Hell episode had different versions and with WWE doing tons of overseas tour at the time plus going back 20 years, it led to several mistakes and confusion in production.

One of the biggest mistakes was that Vince and Linda McMahon were on that particular flight but in reality, the two were not, and those interviewed were confusing different trips. Jim Ross later stated that he would not be participating in future DSOTR episodes. Ross was on that flight and was said to be the man in charge.

The episode also was not great for Ric Flair who ended up getting the majority of the flack for his antics on the plane.

Meanwhile, the Observer also states that Seven Bucks Productions, the company led by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, is teaming up with the producers of Dark Side of the Ring to produce a new series for VICE, covering the territorial days of professional wrestling.
