Roderick Strong reportedly asks for his WWE release multiple times

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling through his Select service is reporting that Roderick Strong has requested his release several times over the past few months but his requests have been denied on every occasion.

Strong, who is the last remaining member of The Undisputed Era in NXT, has reportedly been unhappy with several issues. The bad news for Strong is that he re-signed with WWE sometime last year before the Diamond Mine faction started on NXT.

The former NXT Cruiserweight champion has been part of NXT since 2016 and the 38-year-old has not made it to the main roster yet. He was part of the very successful Undisputed Era from 2018 to 2021 and then was unveiled as the leader of The Diamond Mine.

His former Undisputed Era members are now all part of All Elite Wrestling. Adam Cole’s contract expired in August of last year and left, Bobby Fish was cut, and Kyle O’Reilly left after his contract expired as well.
