Renee Paquette was back in WWE territory yesterday and was filming an episode of Rivals for an upcoming A&E documentary at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Paquette, the wife of AEW World champion Jon Moxley, never burned any bridges with the promotion and was always careful on her podcast not to badmouth her previous employer.
That contrasts Moxley, who after the Dynamite tapings on Wednesday, urged fans to not watch the “crap” on Monday and Friday night and instead watch AEW.
Paquette uploaded several photos from her busy day of filming on her Instagram. One photo had her at a table with Johnny Gargano, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Kevin Owens, and former WWE creative writer and actor Freddie Prinze Jr.
Renee left WWE in 2020 after an eight-year stint and has since started her own podcast, titled Sessions. She made history in the company by becoming the first full-time female commentator on Raw.
This week’s Impact recovered a bit in viewership, getting 111,000 viewers, up 19,000 viewers from last week’s number. The show did a 0.02 in the 18-49 demo, the same as previous week and placed #142 in the top 150 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
Jade Cargill will probably face her toughest opponent yet at All Out as she defends her TBS title against Athena.
The match was announced during Rampage last night and it is the 10th match on the card not including the still to be announced main event.
The former NXT Women’s champion has been a thorn in Cargill’s side ever since she arrived in AEW several months ago. Cargill has done extremely well since she made her debut as well and remains undefeated in the company, having held the TBS title since January of this year.
Speaking of women’s wrestling in AEW, Toni Storm underwent dental surgery this week but will be fit to perform next week on Dynamite and even at the pay-per-view where she is part of the four-way match to determine the new interim AEW Women’s champion.
Shooting Star Press hit by Ricochet scores the victory.
Winner: Ricochet
In the back, the Street Profits run into Hit Row and say we hear you want the smoke and Hit Row says they got it.
Drew McIntyre talks about his career.
Karrion Kross is shown and says congratulations to McIntyre on the story of his career. He continues to say he will end his career… Tick tock.
Shotzi & Xia LI VS. Natalya & Sonya Deville VS. Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H VS. Tamina & Dana Brooke
Nikki and Dana fight on the top rope and Dana suplexes Nikki into the rest of the women on the floor. Sonya Deville tagged in and threw Nikki back in the ring and scored the pin.
Winners: Natalya & Sonya Deville win and advance into the women’s tag team championship tournament.
Sheamus and Walter go face to face
Sami Zayn knocks on Roman Reigns’ door and The Usos answer. Roman invites Sami in. Sami then agreed to take on Drew McIntyre in the main event.
Aliyah & Raquel Rodriguez VS. Natalya & Sonya Deville *Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament
Raquel hits her powerbomb on Sonya for the win.
Winners: Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah
After the match, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky get in the ring and stare down Aliyah and Raquel who will be in the finals of the Women’s Tag Team Tournament next week on Raw in Pittsburgh, PA.
MMM are in the back and Hit Row interrupt.
The New Day are in the ring and Xavier is in a wheelchair. They said they underestimated the Viking Raiders. As they are talking, The Viking Raiders come out and say this is pathetic. Raiders say they are going to put them down and Kofi tries to talk to them and as the Raiders turn all their attention to Kofi, Xavier stands up out of the wheelchair and has Kendo sticks on his leg and throws one to Kofi and they beat the Raiders out of the ring with them.
Drew McIntyre VS. Sami Zayn
As Drew sets up to go for the Claymore, the Usos come out and distract Drew. Sami hits the sit-down power bomb but only gets a 2 count. Drew eventually hits the Claymore for the win.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
Roman Reigns attacks Drew after the match. Drew counters and throws Reigns shoulder first into the ring post and The Usos come in and as Drew was holding them off, Reigns hits the spear on Drew, then they get chairs and hit Drew with them. They throw Drew outside and continue to beat on him. Sami gets back into the action with a helluva kick to Drew. Usos use the ring steps on Drew. The Usos then throw Drew back in the ring. Roman yells at him and puts him in a choke hold. Then Roman sits on a chair over Drew and the Usos drape the titles over his shoulders.
Those with a passion for health and fitness may decide that the career of a personal trainer is the life for them. With more than 300,000 personal trainers throughout the U.S. in 2020 and a strong industry growth outlook, it should be no surprise that this is a role gaining a lot of interest.
You need nothing more than a high school diploma, or equivalent, to get started. Most training is on the job, so you can immediately jump into your new career.
So, what are the advantages and drawbacks of being a personal trainer?
Pro: Freedom and Flexibility
Personal trainers have vast freedom and flexibility to dictate their hours. If you work for a gym or fitness center, the chances are you will have to endure set hours. Yet the beauty of being a personal trainer is it is relatively easy to start as self-employed and build up your client base.
Many personal trainers even hold down other jobs while building their personal brands because it’s such a flexible profession.
Con: Risk of Injury
Every personal trainer must accept the risk of an injury to themselves or their clients. Muscle strains and tears can easily lead to weeks or months without working. It’s a risk all personal trainers face as part of the profession.
Professional liability insurance is a must for personal trainers. It protects you against paying for medical costs and legal fees out-of-pocket if something goes wrong during a class.
Most personal trainers already have an existing passion for optimal fitness and nutrition. However, you have the opportunity to take your knowledge further. While training, you’ll have the opportunity to shadow other personal trainers in action, where you will learn new skills and acquire new insights into health and wellness.
Advance your knowledge base and take in lessons you can apply to your clients and your own life.
Con: Inconsistent Income
Personal fitness classes are a luxury item, so if the economy is down, you will also see your income drop away.
Running your own business as a personal trainer means you must be prepared for an inconsistent income. If you have poor money management skills, you may find this aspect of the industry difficult to manage.
Pro: Specialize According to Your Passion
Personal trainers are not just personal trainers. You have several areas in which you can choose to specialize in.
For example, some personal trainers may specialize in women before, during, and after pregnancy. Others may support people who have recently recovered from industry. Executive personal trainers focus on offering their services to the top 1% of people in society.
You can specialize in many ways to differentiate your business as a personal trainer. However, note that many specializations require a few years in the industry, so it does take time.
Con: Challenging Clients
Personal fitness experts will need to have the patience to handle all manner of clients. For example, some clients may suffer from body dysmorphia. Other clients may demand immediate results and complain if they don’t experience a total transformation within a few weeks.
Those who hire personal trainers tend to want revolutionary results, and managing those expectations is a massive part of the profession.
The best trainers are equipped to keep clients motivated and to extrapolate the gains they make to stop them from sliding back into their bad habits.
Of course, you won’t get along with every client, but what matters is that you stay patient and maintain an objective stance.
Pro: Change Lives
Hiring a personal trainer is a significant step in life. Someone investing in the services of a personal trainer is signaling that they are ready to achieve and become the best versions of themselves.
As a personal trainer, it is not an exaggeration to say that you single-handedly support your clients in improving their lives.
It’s the draw of sculpting a new set of abs, seeing someone run a 5k for the first time, or just watching someone who has developed confidence in themselves spread their wings.
Personal trainers change lives, which is one of the most satisfying aspects of the profession.
Con: Inconvenient Work Hours
Most of your clients will be ordinary people who work regular jobs. The problem with that is that you can expect to work irregular hours as a personal trainer. Most people will want their classes scheduled early in the morning or late in the evening.
Personal trainers can expect to have to accommodate the schedules of their clients. It may include working weekends or holidays. In addition, hours tend to change rapidly, so prospective personal trainers must be prepared to swivel on a dime.
If you have no problem adhering to an inconsistent working schedule, the life of a personal trainer could be for you.
Pro: No Glass Ceiling
Personal trainers are limited by nothing but the number of hours in a day. Beyond providing personal fitness sessions, many trainers have elevated their incomes by concentrating on the branding aspect of the business.
Turning yourself into a personal brand, selling your own products, and becoming a public figure can help you create additional income streams and attract high-net-worth clients.
Conclusion
In a world where people care more about their physical looks than ever, personal trainers are in high demand from people looking to improve their health and people who want to get their bodies ready for a summer of Instagram snaps.
Jump into the world of personal training and build your knowledge base. You can start immediately with so many free resources available for those who want to become personal trainers.
Are you ready to accomplish your dreams of becoming a personal trainer?
Last Week’s Rating: 461,000 overall; 0.12 in 18-49 demo
It’s Saturday morning, and you know what that means… it’s time for our Rampage Review!
House of Black vs Dark Order (Silver, Reynolds, 10), R1: Trios Tourn.
Backstory: Hangman was supposed to be in the Order’s corner, having turned down the Bucks to do so, though he wasn’t out there
Jericho, Excalibur, Schiavone, JR on comms, Brody and Preston Vance in the ring. Testing their strength, the big guys grappled then threw themselves at each other, neither shifted.
Though Vance ‘hurt his knee’ and tagged in Silver.
He and Matthews hit the mats to grapple, the Aussie then catching Silver coming off the top but Silver escaping and sort-of kipping up before flinging Murphy to the outside, leaving Reynolds and Malakai to square off. After a brief sequence, Malakai did his sit-down pose, staring at Reynolds, leading to all six throwing fists, the illegal four spilling to the outside as the ads arrived.
Best Friends were in the crowd again, Murphy landing a diving stomp to the arm of Reynolds, then taking a cheap shot at Vance’s knee, sending him off the apron. Ten then came back in, running through the Order with clotheslines, a blue thunder bomb and a spinebuster, then locking in the full nelson on Malakai until Matthews interrupted with a meteora.
A Silver thrust kick and double team from he and Reynolds laid Matthews out but Brody was having none of it, running through the pair until Vance clotheslined him over the top, going to work against Malakai until his knee buckled and Black locked-in a knee bar.
Then Miro’s music hit as he sent Murphy flying via back body drop onto the ramp (somehow not a DQ) allowing Reynolds to roll-up Malakai. Distraction or not, would not have had Black take the pin.
Annoyed at his interference, the House attacked Miro until Darby & Sting ran them off.
Presumably, the Order are headed to the finals where Page will have to sub for Vance.
WINNER: Dark Order
Lexi was with Hook, who ‘really d(idn’t) care’ about 2.0. Amen brother. Shouty and Switchblade turned up 2 seconds after Hook left, blathered about Hook not having to be a ‘scared young man anymore’.
Wardlow vs Ryan Nemeth, ‘Open Challenge’ – TNT Title
Backstory: None
There aren’t enough swear words in the world to adequately convey how stupid this is. Just because you call it a title match doesn’t make it mean anything. Not one single extra person is going to watch this thinking the belt’s on the line. In fact, it actually hurts the title. Because it’s Ryan f****** Nemeth.
Who even got his entrance and some mic time for heat so cheap it was free.
You know who won.
Lethal’s crew, along with Chris Sabin, came out to observe.
WINNER: Wardlow
Andrade et al w/ Lexi. He and Rush criticized Private Party for losing last week. When they complained that La Faccion did the same, the Mexicans blamed it on Dragon Lee.
Powerhouse Hobbs vs Ashton Day
Backstory: None
Big guy vs No-name, in a squash. Tell me, where’ve I seen that before? Oh yes, last match.
Spinebuster. 1,2,3. Crowd almost silent, riled briefly as Hobbs mimicked Starks’ pose.
The Factory appeared on the big-screen, beating down Starks. If he can’t deal with them, no chance vs Hobbs.
WINNER: Will Hobbs
Jade, Leyla, Kiera were interviewed. Leyla started to interrupt and Jade sent everyone away, asking Athena to come and get these hands. She instantly attacked, almost as if she were waiting just off-screen. AEW have been told to cut-down on the swearing, so half of Jade’s act’s been taken away. This lasted all of 30 seconds, despite advertising a Jade segment.
Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo vs Ortiz & Ruby Soho
Backstory: The JAS broke Ruby’s hand; been feuding with Eddie, Ortiz & co. for months
So apparently Eddie Kingston’s just returned from a legit suspension due to a squabble with Sammy. Regardless of who’s to blame, the Spanish God stays among controversy.
The ladies kicked things off, Melo immediately working Soho’s injured arm. She and Sammy did get light boos but the crowd were much quieter than during Dynamite.
After missing a kick in the corner, Tay smashed Soho with a rising knee, Ruby striking back with an elbow, the guys tagging in, the pace quickening, Ortiz dropping Sammy with a pair of short-arm clotheslines and a double team with Ruby for nearly 2.
Jericho threatened to report Schiavone for bullying. He and Tony are great on comms. Unlike JR, Schiavone actually puts Jericho over as a heel instead of giggling with him.
Both guys were down as we returned, the ladies tagging in: Ruby striking in ground and pound, belly-to-back, running kick that looked weak, count of 2. Sammy knocked Ortiz off the apron, but was poisonrana’d by Ruby; Tay came off the top with a cross body for another 2. Guevara then interrupted Soho but was ddt’d by Ortiz, all four mixing and matching, culminating in No Future on Melo for another 2 slaps of the mat.
Sammy then got in Soho’s face but fled as Ortiz got the tag. Angelo Parker got up on the apron, distracting the ref. Soho was dropped by Anna Jay, allowing Guevara to strike Ortiz with a top-rope cutter for the pin. The lightest of boos from a crowd that must’ve reconsidered hanging around.
Four matches down: two nondescript; two finishing via interference.
WINNER: Sammy & Tay
Exclusive footage of Punk backstage after Wednesday. With the doctor, he said he didn’t feel anything in particular wrong with his foot, but the same could be said when he first broke it. This too lasted all of thirty seconds.
Dustin Rhodes vs Claudio Castagnoli, ROH World Title
Backstory: Claudio made an open challenge last week, Dustin accepted
Fun fact, last week was actually AEW’s millionth open challenge, meaning Dustin wins a prize! Can’t tell you what it is, but I know damn well what it isn’t: the ROH title.
Dustin came out with the Andersons; Claudio with Regal & Yuta. Bobby Cruise and Caprice Coleman joined the crew. Jericho threw a fit and left as Regal approached, joining on comms.
Castagnoli looks like he’s really leaned-up.
Rhodes ran through him to start, then dropped him with an arm-drag, Claudio responding by taking things to the mat. This one nearly ended early as Rhodes’ head whiplashed off the bottom rope, the vet taking a second on the outside.
Back in the ring, a nasty uppercut begat an arm-wringer, Rhodes responding with a Manhattan Drop and boot to the face for a 1 count. Taking a chance, Rhodes flew with a running cross-body but ended up on the outside as Castagnoli got out the way.
Ads time.
There were just a few minutes left upon our return, Rhodes clutched in a crossface, fighting his way up into a side slam, the pair teeing off in the middle until a kick to the gut from Claudio. Dustin sent him to the outside with a clothesline, attacking off the apron with a cannonball, then a leaping clothesline back inside. Two slaps of the mat.
The vet defied the years with a top-rope hurracanrana, following up with a Code Red for a close two-count. ‘You still got it’ broke out, as if Rhodes hasn’t been really good his whole AEW run.
Responding with a Big Swing but getting only a count of two, the champ locked the vet back into the crossface, Rhodes fighting out: snap powerslam, powerbomb, another 2. Crowd louder than they’d been all night but that wasn’t saying much.
What looked like a painful botch came next during a dropdown/leapfrog spot, Claudio taking Rhodes’ head right in the knackers, then hauling him up for the Uppercut to retain his title. Clunky finish, though you have to give CC credit for being able to do anything so soon after that.
You’d have needed an Omega/Okada or Shawn/Taker to save this show, and this couldn’t reach those heights. The action was good, though the break didn’t help. Nor did the fact that the result was never in doubt.
WINNER: Claudio Castagnoli
Next Dynamite:
Elite vs United Empire, Trios Semi-Final
Bryan Danielson vs Jake Hager
Storm & Shida vs Britt & Hayter
Moxley promo
Next Rampage:
Dark Order vs Best Friends, Trios Semi-Final (boy the other semi is the real final huh?)
Added to All Out:
Jade vs Athena, TBS Title
Overall impressions
A week in which title belts were undermined continued here: storyline or not, a weaker trio advanced in the tournament via interference, while two title defenses were made against ‘contenders’ we’ve barely seen all year. This is becoming a show that recappers watch so you don’t have to.
The final match of the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles tournament was set last night on Smackdown and will pit Dakota Kai and IO SKY vs Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah.
Kai and SKY beat Tamina and Dana Brooke in the first round and then defeated Alexa Bliss and Asuka in the semi final. Raquel and Aliyah beat Xia Li and Shotzi and then Natalya and Sonya Deville yesterday to advance.
Natalya and Sonya won a second chance fatal four-way tag team match last night after Gigi Dolin and Jayc Jane were taken out of the tournament due to an injury. Ironically, Toxic Attraction replaced Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons who were originally in the tournament but Stark was injured too.
The two teams will now meet together this coming Monday on Raw to determine the new WWE Women’s Tag Team champions after the titles were vacated by Sasha Banks and Naomi in May.
Apart from a few dozen very expensive official platinum seats, this year’s Survivor Series is officially sold out, making it the fourth post-WrestleMania arena event to sell out following Backlash, Hell In A Cell, and Money In The Bank.
Tickets went on sale to the general public today but they were already mostly gone from the pre-sale a few days ago. Fans in Boston showed up in force to buy tickets to the show, the first premium live event at the TD Garden since Clash of Champions in 2017.
The TD Garden was supposed to get SummerSlam in 2020 but obviously that was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The October premium live event, Extreme Rules, is edging closer to 10,000 tickets sold and moving towards a sell out too. That show will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio where she co-hosts an hour every Friday, AEW Women’s champion Thunder Rosa addressed the rumors that she has backstage heat, especially with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter.
Rumors surfaced this week that Rosa and Baker cannot stand each other while her relationship with Hayter went south after she broke her nose during a match which, if you believe rumors, resulted in Rosa “hiding” backstage from a pissed off Hayter.
Rosa said that not everything that is being said online is true and if anyone has a problem with her, they should call either Busted Open, her my number, AEW, or tell her face to face.
“I don’t hide from my problems. I don’t run from my problems. You can talk to me, my door is open. That goes for anybody,” Rosa said, adding that she has taken accountability when she did wrong things.
“I’m a straightforward person. Some people don’t like that and are afraid of that. I’m not, I’m a trained fighter, I don’t run away from shit,” she continued, urging people to stop reading “shit online.”
Rosa also rubbished claims that her injury is fake and said that AEW doctors didn’t clear her to wrestle and she will be out for a few months due to a back injury.
“If I could f*cking walk, I can f*cking work,” Rosa said. “I’m not cleared to wrestle. It’s not that I don’t want to do a match on Sunday, but I can’t walk.”
She added that she wants to be able to walk when she is 40 and has the right to turn down surgery. “If we keep doing this and going through the pain, then I’m going to be out for longer. I don’t want to do that.”
NXT color commentator Wade Barrett announced that he signed a new extension with WWE which will keep him at the NXT commentary booth for a couple of more years.
Barrett, who arrived in NXT in August 2020, told BT Sport that he agreed to a new deal last week. “I’m very happy to be staying around with WWE and continuing in my role in NXT,” the former Intercontinental champion said, adding that he’s the happiest he’s ever been right now.
Asked if we might see him back in the ring, Barrett said that in this business, you are never retired, loves his current gig, and has no itch he’s trying to scratch.
“But if the right opportunity presents itself at my door, then maybe we might see a Wade Barrett return to the ring one day,” Barrett said.
As expected, AEW had a big debut in Canada with tickets for the October 12 Dynamite in Toronto instantly snapped up for a quick sell out.
A handful of very expensive official platinum seats remain but there’s a few thousand tickets which immediately went on re-sale, suggesting these were scooped up by ticket scalpers.
The Rampage tapings on October 13 in the same location is selling well but is far from selling out so those who maybe didn’t get a ticket for Dynamite are not interested in going to see Rampage and certainly not everyone who picked up a Dynamite ticket wanted to do two in a row. Tickets for Rampage start at CA $117 and go up to over CA $1,000 for ringside.
These will be the first AEW events outside the United States and the pick of Coca-Cola Coliseum raised some eyebrows as it’s a smaller arena in Toronto and the company could have sold out an even bigger arena, and probably filled a large portion of a stadium, with the amount of interest there was in tickets for the show.
It looks like Vince McMahon didn’t celebrate his 77th birthday with John Cena alone and had some other big names with him at the Waverly Inn restaurant in New York City on Wednesday night.
TMZ.COM yesterday published a video of McMahon exiting the restaurant with an unknown female behind him and John Cena and his wife followed. McMahon was not in the mood for flash photography and was covering the side of his face by conveniently scratching it at the right moment.
PWInsider.com adds that McMahon’s party had some additional heavyweights in the form of Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, and even Smackdown commentator Pat McAfee, who is a favorite of Vince.
This was McMahon’s first public spotting since he resigned from his position as WWE CEO and Chairman several weeks ago.
The Clash at the Castle premium live event in Cardiff, Wales, has inched closer to a sell out as the company has nearly 66,000 tickets out with one week to go.
The Principality Stadium is configured to seat just over 72,000 fans so there’s around 6,000 tickets still available for sale on Ticketmaster. It’s worth to note that many of the ticket prices were slashed in half in a bid to sell the remaining inventory.
Come Saturday afternoon, this Clash event will have more fans than each night of WrestleMania this year even though WWE announced over 70,000 each night for WrestleMania, but in reality, that number was inflated as usual.
When tickets came out a few months ago, fans were surprised at how much expensive even bleachers were, with WWE charging WrestleMania-like prices. Cardiff hotels also increased their prices during the weekend which led to many fans seeking accommodation outside the city.
WWE has also sold out the 8PM Undertaker 1deadMAN Show event on September 2, with around 1,000 tickets sold. Due to popular demand, a second show starting at 1:30PM was also added. The second show is not close to a sell out and plenty of tickets remain.
AEW will be running back Jon Moxley vs CM Punk for the AEW World title as the main event of All Out.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that while AEW has not announced it yet, the main event for All Out will be a rematch between the two as a follow-up to this week’s title unification match.
Moxley beat Punk in around three minutes on Wednesday’s Dynamite, with Punk selling a leg injury after throwing a high kick. Their match on Wednesday was the most-watched quarter with 1,198,000 viewers tuning in. With the show in the suburbs of Chicago, it makes sense to use CM Punk in the main event.
Punk wrestled his first match for AEW last year at All Out in the same location, beating Darby Allin.
This week’s Dynamite with the big AEW World title unification match drew 1,049,000 viewers, up 92,000 viewers from the prior week and the best number viewership-wise since February 9. This was the first time the show crossed a million viewers since June 29. In 18-49 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.34, up 0.04 from last week and placed #1 in the top 50 cable chart for the night. Vince McMahon, who turned 77 yesterday, celebrated his birthday at the Waveryly Inn restaurant in New York City along with John Cena and his wife Shay Shariatzadeh.
Paparazzi cameras caught them going out of the restaurant and while Cena acknowledged the paparazzi, McMahon wanted none of it.
Vince walked and when he got closer to the flashing cameras conveniently started scratching the side of his head to cover his face from the cameras. Paparazzi wished him a happy birthday but McMahon went straight into the waiting van, followed by an unknown female.
Cena and his wife exited afterward and went into a separate vehicle.
During a recent Q&A session, Cena was asked who he would put in the Mount Rushmore of wrestling and without thinking about it, he said he would change it and have only one person: Vince McMahon.
This was the first public sighting of the former WWE Chairman and CEO following his resignation from the company he helmed for 40 years. McMahon is being investigated for nearly $20 million in unrecorded expenses which mostly went to hush money to silence females who had a sexual relationship with him along the years.
Appearing on The Sports Illustrated Media Podcast, the undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns described Triple H as the “babyface of the industry” following his rise to the throne as the new man in charge for talent and overall creative for WWE.
“I think he’s done excellent, he’s like a professional wrestling babyface right now and there’s like this honeymoon situation. There’s a lot of excitement,” Reigns said.
He tried to describe what it means for Triple H to get into Vince McMahon’s shoes and follow him, saying that he thought following John Cena was tough but, “imagine having to follow Vince McMahon!”
The champ was full of praise for his former arch rival and said that he’s done great so far, echoing the statements of his fellow Superstars and fans.
Asked if he thinks Vince McMahon will still have some kind of influence in the background since his family are heavily involved in running things, Reigns said that coming from a wrestling family, he 100% can see that happening.
“I’d be sitting next to my dad right now and he’d be throwing out the same type of ideas or trying to pitch me something,” he said. “That’s just the way it is.”
News came out that the reason Eddie Kingston has not been on AEW television lately is because he was suspended.
Several sources have reported that Kingston and Sammy Guevara were involved in a backstage altercation during tapings in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The altercation stemmed from something that Guevara said during a promo, mocking Kingston, while building up their upcoming match at All Out.
Both stars had to be separated after things got physical backstage and Kingston ended up taking the blame for the whole thing and was suspended.
Kingston is scheduled to return to work on the August 31 episode of Dynamite, just a few days before the All Out pay-per-view, making his suspension around two weeks worth of tapings.
Variety is reporting that current Raw Women’s champion Bianca Belair has signed with WME, an Endeavor company, for representation.
The talent and media agency will work with Belair to build her business across podcasting, acting, marketing, and more.
It is common for certain Superstars to get represented by powerful talent agencies and being taken care of by companies such as WME ensures that their best interest are always safeguarded.
Belair has quickly rose to be one of the top Superstars in WWE following a stint with NXT. She has been part of the main roster since 2020 and is a Royal Rumble winner and former Smackdown Women’s champion as well.
WWE fans in the United States who don’t receive the WWE Network via Peacock can take advantage of a special offer that Peacock will have available which drastically reduces the price of a yearly subscription.
For a limited time, new subscribers to Peacock can take advantage of a $1.99 per month offer or $19.99 for one full year. This is the Peacock Premium with ads, which typically costs $4.99 per month.
If you want no ads with Peacock Premium, you still have to pay $9.99 a month and there’s no special offer for that.
A full year subscription for $19.99 will save you $39.89 and that is comparable to two months of WWE Network subscription under the old pricing. The offer will start on September 1 at PeacockTV.com.
Apart from getting all the WWE premium live events and all the library from the WWE Network, a Peacock Premium subscription will also give you movies like Jurassic World: Dominion, live sports such as MLB, Premier League, the FIFA World Cup, and next-day viewing of all NBC and Bravo television shows.
