Thunder Rosa addresses rumors of backstage heat and injury

Appearing on Busted Open Radio where she co-hosts an hour every Friday, AEW Women’s champion Thunder Rosa addressed the rumors that she has backstage heat, especially with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter.

Rumors surfaced this week that Rosa and Baker cannot stand each other while her relationship with Hayter went south after she broke her nose during a match which, if you believe rumors, resulted in Rosa “hiding” backstage from a pissed off Hayter.

Rosa said that not everything that is being said online is true and if anyone has a problem with her, they should call either Busted Open, her my number, AEW, or tell her face to face.

“I don’t hide from my problems. I don’t run from my problems. You can talk to me, my door is open. That goes for anybody,” Rosa said, adding that she has taken accountability when she did wrong things.

“I’m a straightforward person. Some people don’t like that and are afraid of that. I’m not, I’m a trained fighter, I don’t run away from shit,” she continued, urging people to stop reading “shit online.”

Rosa also rubbished claims that her injury is fake and said that AEW doctors didn’t clear her to wrestle and she will be out for a few months due to a back injury.

“If I could f*cking walk, I can f*cking work,” Rosa said. “I’m not cleared to wrestle. It’s not that I don’t want to do a match on Sunday, but I can’t walk.”

She added that she wants to be able to walk when she is 40 and has the right to turn down surgery. “If we keep doing this and going through the pain, then I’m going to be out for longer. I don’t want to do that.”
