The O.C. finally found a little help to tackle their Rhea Ripley problem in the form of former NXT star Mia Yim.
Yim made a surprise appearance on Raw last night and took out Ripley as The O.C. and Judgment Day battled in the ring. Ripley has been a pain in The O.C.’s ass for the past several weeks as she kept interfering in matches, most of the time costing AJ, Anderson, and Gallows the victory.
The 33-year-old Yim worked for WWE between 2018 and 2021 and was part of NXT until she got called to the main roster to be part of the Retribution storyline as Reckoning. That angle didn’t go much anywhere and was released from her contract a year ago in November 2021.
Yim returned to Impact Wrestling during her time away from WWE and her last match for the promotion was on the October 20 episode of Impact, losing to Taylor Wilde.

Smackdown did a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demo, their lowest since August 26 apart from the FS1 number and was #2 on network television for the night. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)

The movie now has $137,366,000 in domestic gross and an additional $182,300,000 in international receipts for a worldwide total of $319,666,000.
The closest movie to Black Adam’s $18.5 million weekend was One Piece Film: Red which grossed $9.5 million.
The Rock’s hold on the box office will come to a halt next weekend though as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is released nationwide and it is expected to have an even bigger opening than Black Adam.
The Usos and The New Day will clash this Friday on Smackdown with both the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles and the record on the line.
With their successful defense last night at Crown Jewel, The Usos are now at 476 days as champions, inching closer to The New Day’s 483-day reign record. If Jimmy and Jey manage to defeat The New Day this Friday, it’s a lock that they will be holding the new record when it’s all said and done.
But that record might be in jeopardy for The Usos as it was revealed at Crown Jewel that Jey is suffering from a suspected broken wrist, an injury which he got during the European tour earlier in the week.
Jey is getting an MRI done on his wrist tomorrow, with the next course of action decided following results of that MRI.
Logan Paul, who gave a performance of a lifetime yesterday against Roman Reigns, revealed on Twitter that he tore his meniscus, MCL, and potentially his ACL as well.
“Happened halfway through the match,” Paul wrote, posting a photo with his right knee wrapped in ice but giving a thumbs up.
For the regular viewers, the injury was unnoticeable as Paul continued the match as if nothing happened and even performed some crazy high-flying moves, including a splash from the top rope onto the announce table…while holding his cell phone in selfie mode.
That video was later uploaded on his and WWE’s social media, giving a unique perspective of his splash on Reigns.
AEW’s new television show, featuring life behind the scenes, has started filming.
AEW is teaming up with Shed Media to produce the show which will eventually air on one of Warner Bros. Discovery properties. Shed Media is the production company behind reality TV shows such as Below Deck Adventure, Paris In Love, The Bradshaw Bunch, Real Housewives of New York City, and had already worked with AEW on Rhodes To The Top.
Camera crews have begun collecting footage at this week’s television tapings and the show will focus on many of the AEW talent as they navigate their life behind the scenes in this crazy world called professional wrestling.
The series presumably replaces Rhodes To The Top which obviously will not tape again since Cody is now part of WWE.

Meanwhile, the Vulture Festival announced that the due to an “unforeseen scheduling conflict,” the Banks and Naomi event set for Saturday, November 12 is no longer happening and fans are being refunded their purchased tickets.
Banks and Naomi walked out of WWE in mid-May and have not appeared on WWE television since then. In a video posted on Instagram Stories yesterday, Banks said that something “f*cking crazy” is coming this month.
A Survivor Series WarGames commercial which aired during Crown Jewel confirmed that there will be 10 competitors in each match, so unlike the NXT version, the main roster WarGames will be five vs five.
There will be two WarGames matches, one featuring the men and one with the women. This is the first time that the gimmick match, made famous in WCW, is being used on the main roster. The NXT version did not have a covered cage which allowed for some high-flying moves but it’s unknown if WWE is going back to the original cage design with a covered top for this one.
The commercial for WarGames used the song War Pigs from Black Sabbath, performed by Celebrity WWE Hall of Famer Ozzy Osbourne.
The WarGames concept was brought back to NXT in 2017 and has been a yearly affair every November since then.

A last woman standing match will determine who will walk out of Riyadh as the Raw Women’s champion. Bianca Belair, the current champion, shares the same odds as Roman Reigns with 4/11 while Bayley has also the same odds of Logan Paul at 2/1.
Two former WWE champions are on a collision course as Brock Lesnar takes on Bobby Lashley. Lesnar is 1/4 favorite while Lashley, who last time in Riyadh lost to Goldberg, is 11/4 underdog in this match.
In a battle of two giants, Braun Strowman is 1/6 favorite to beat an even bigger giant in Omos who is 7/2 in his odds.
A six-man tag team match will feature The O.C. taking on The Judgment Day who will have Rhea Ripley in their corner. Styles, Gallows, and Anderson are 2/5 favorites while Ballor, Priest, and Mysterio are 7/4.
