The Raw and Smackdown Tag Team titles – currently both held by The Usos – will once again start to be defended separately and while The Judgment Day will get their crack at the titles next week on Raw, a tournament started to determine who will face The Usos for the Smackdown belts.
The first round of matches were all held on Smackdown last night, with Drew McIntyre and Sheamus defeating The Viking Raiders to advance, Hit Row beat Los Lotharios, Imperium defeated long-time rivals The Brawling Brutes to move on, and Legado Del Fantasma beat Maximum Male Models.
Next week, McIntyre and Sheamus take on Hit Row while Imperium battle Legado in the two semi final matches.
Hulkamania will be running wild on RAW IS XXX next week as two-time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has been announced for the show.
The Hulkster has now been added to promotional material hyping up the 30th anniversary of Monday Night Raw along with Triple H in his DX gear, Ted DiBiase, IRS, The Godfather, Jimmy Hart, and Alundra Blayze. Members of the Anoa’i family will also be there for the Bloodline acknowledgement ceremony.
It has been a minute since we’ve seen Hogan on WWE television with his last appearance coming as a co-host of WrestleMania 37 in Tampa, Florida, for the first show with fans following the coronavirus.
Hulk has kept relatively quiet since then, even on social media, with not many appearances along the way.
Smackdown opens with Bloodline arriving The Usos and Sami Zayn in one car and Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns in another.

LA Knight VS. Ray Jones

Winner: LA Knight
After the match, more mind games from Bray Wyatt showing the Firefly Funhouse being rebuilt and characters coming back to life.

Winners: Hit Row

Charlotte Flair is out in the ring and calls out Sonya Deville. Sonya says she deserves another title match and Charlotte challenged her to a fight and Sonya said no unless you put the title on the line. Adam Pearce comes out and says this is enough and before he could continue Sonya sucker punched Charlotte and bailed out of the ring and Pearce yelled at Sonya.
Heyman tells Roman he recommends as the wise man since they are about to sign the contract to face Kevin Owens it would be better to have Sami Zayn in the castle pissing out of the castle rather than pissing in.
Ridge Holland & Butch VS. Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci)
After giving Butch a brain buster on the floor, Imperium hit the Imperium bomb on Ridge for the win.
Winners: Imperium
In the back Paul Heyman walks up to Sami Zayn and tells Sami the Tribal Chief would like to see him.
Shayna Baszler in the back saying she will be in the Royal Rumble and tear apart everyone limb by limb.
Killer Kross says in one week he is going to step in the ring with Rey Mysterio and usually he gets amped up for a match but not really for this match and he is going to take Rey out then go on to Royal Rumble and take everyone else out.
Legado Del Fantasma VS. Maximum Male Models
With pinning Man’soor
Winners: Legado Del Fantasma
In the back Roman and Paul welcome the arrival of Sami Zayn. Roman says he has a temper, says he put people in places like the wiseman to help him with the anger and he wasn’t hearing him and he just wanted communication and wanted to be part of the team. Roman says he expects the same love he gives out and Sami says we love you. And he will always put the bloodline first. They first bump as Sami walks out.
Adam Pearce is in the ring and the ring is set up for the contract signing. Out first is the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa. As Roman sits in a chair smiling, Kevin Owens sneaks in from behind and sends Solo flying with a superkick, a stunner to Roman followed. The Usos come out, Owens superkicks Jey over the barricade and sends Jimmy into the ring steps after another superkick and gets back in the ring and gives Roman a pop up powerbomb through the table. Then he goes over to Paul Heyman and signs the contract. Now Sami Zayn is out, and Owens bails out of the ring and runs through the crowd.
Last Week’s Rating: 513,000 overall; 0.13 in 18-49 demo

Ethan Page vs Jungle Boy Jack Perry
Backstory: The Firm – mostly Big Bill – have been attacking JB, he and Hook beat them in a tag last week, Page wants revenge
So I finally realized what Ethan Page was talking about on Wednesday. But had completely forgotten he was part of ‘the Firm’ and that they were feuding with Perry. Mostly since they were a faction who only got together when MJF needed them. Who now has nothing to do with them and yet here they are.
Page was already in the ring, Jungle Boy got his entrance. As Jericho noted how much he hates crowds singing along to entrance themes. Do enjoy a hypocritical heel.
Page attacked before the entrance was even over, hooking the youngster in the Ego’s Edge as he posed on the top rope. Perry slipped out, striking quickly in the corner then sending Page outside via flying headscissors. Page pulled Isiah Cassidy into the path of a JB tope – he and Matt Hardy were at ringside – then took advantage with a clothesline.
After slinging him back inside, Page stopped to jaw with Hardy and this time Perry’s tope was right on target.
Thus far this is very similar to Wednesday’s opener: a ton of bodies around ringside which seem to have taken precedence over the in-ring.
Hardy made it very clear he wasn’t going to attack Jungle Boy, who continued in the ascendancy until Hathaway grabbed the boot. JB stared at him for several years, allowing Ethan to attack then over-elaborately celebrate with Hardy. ‘That’s my guy!’
Dropping Perry face-first against the apron, Page returned to the ring, hit a backbreaker and began to work on the shoulder before clotheslining the youngster over the top. From his knees, Perry fought back with crisp strikes and chops; Page responded by slinging him into the ringpost then dropping him with a stiff chop.
Crowd very quiet as Page shouted into the camera with total intensity – ‘You wanna slap tits? I’ll slap tits’. Jericho in particular enjoyed this line. Schiavone’s awkwardness playing-off Jericho was tremendous.
First break.
JB caught Page coming in with elbows to the face but was then grabbed mid cross-body; slipped out and rebounded with a big diving lariat. Attempting a piledriver, Page back bodied his way free, pursuing Perry to the top rope, hauling him off the top wrists-first into an iconoclasm, maintaining wrist control and dragging Perry straight back up off the mat into an off-the-shoulder powerslam. That sequence is impressive.
The crowd still very quiet when Page is on offense.
He mocked Hardy’s pose then looked for a Twist of Fate. Perry countered, the two grappled into the corner where JB fired off ten of the best, the last of which struck Hathaway (who’d come onto the apron), allowing Page to hit Hardy’s move and bag two: too close to the ropes.
He then sent Perry outside, demanding that Hardy ‘get him!’. Before we could find out if he would, Action Bronson blared over the speakers as Hook arrived. Page still took advantage of the distraction to get two, using Hardy’s hair as leverage. Jungle Boy reversed it into a roll-up to bag the win.
It was just developing into a really good match amid the ‘gaga’ when that happened.
Post-match, Hathaway shrieked that it was Hardy’s fault. Matt protested that he was Page’s friend; Page challenged the faces to a tag against him and Hardy so that the latter could ‘make it up to me’.
That’ll be on Dynamite.
The way they’ve been stop/start with using Ethan is a sure-fire way to ensure someone doesn’t succeed. He needs to regularly appear on tv. Not that he’s the only one.
WINNER: Jack Perry
Ortiz joined Schiavone in the ring. Ortiz said Kingston had ‘lost it’ and was buying the House of Black’s mind-games. He was annoyed because Eddie was about to hit a woman with a chair last week and ‘in our world, that’s a line you don’t cross.’ He then noted that he should be discussing this with Kingston instead of Schiavone, asking him to come out.
Kingston was irritated Ortiz had chosen to discuss this on tv instead of settling it off-camera. Ortiz said this was the only way to get his attention. Ortiz got on him again about ‘hitting a woman’.
(This’d work a lot better if it genuinely looked like Eddie was going to do that, instead of turning ‘round with a chair in hand and Julia being literally right behind him.)
Then noted that their trainer Homicide would be disappointed and calling Eddie a ‘fake tough guy’. Kingston attacked him with a chair to the gut then walked off. Can’t really says I blame him.
The announcers emphasized that the HOB had done this.
Couple notes: In a company full of people with two names, ‘Ortiz’ seems less important by comparison.
Do the several hundred-thousand people who watch Dynamite but not Rampage even know the House of Black are back? Or where Eddie Kingston is? They never appear on the ‘A’ show.
…..
Darby Allin package talking about how he’s going to defend his TNT title every week, searching for the ‘high’ he felt when defeating Samoa Joe in his hometown. Now he has old scores to settle with the HOB. Wants to prove he can beat each and every member.
Well, guess that’s me told. Though if Allin’s just going to run through them all not sure what it does for them. Do like that at least this gives a storyline reason for the weekly title defences and can totally buy Darby chasing that ‘high’.
He and Joe have done a lot to rehab a belt which badly needed it.
Brian Cage vs Willie Mack
Backstory: None
Surprisingly, Mack actually got an entrance. Cage looks and acts like a total star. If he could talk, he’d probably be champion.
This started with sloppy exchanges: the two big guys essentially performing a lucha routine with armdrags and kip-ups. Mack dropped Cage with a Samoan but caught nothing but mat on the subsequent standing moonsault.
Cage took advantage with a running boot to the face, step-up kick in the corner, German suplex then another running pump kick with Mack slumped against the buckle.
Before stopping to pose.
Ross offered to pay for Schiavone to get a haircut like Cage as the competitors exchanged strikes on the apron, ending when Cage drove Mack into it spine-first.
Mack bought time by rolling under a clothesline and striking with a pump kick as we returned from break.
Then hit a phenomenal running enziguri, almost a high shining wizard. Continuing the assault with a clothesline, he hooked Cage for a rock bottom, the Machine fought free with elbows to the temple but ate a pop-up punch to the face as he rebounded off the ropes. Mack got two via sky high. (Shoutout D-Lo Brown. Criminally underrated)
Both staggering to their feet, Cage hit a superkick, following up with an F-5 for two. Cage thought he’d won it.
Mack slipped free, missed a roundhouse, ate a powerbomb which Cage rolled him through right into a punt to the face then a Drillclaw to bag the win.
Pretty entertaining match. A little slow in places but some good sequences.
WINNER: Brian Cage
The Self-indulgent Minute was next as the announcers all talked about the Jacksonville Jaguars and their game tomorrow/today.
Jade Cargill & Leila Grey vs Jaida and Jordyn Vanity
Backstory: None
Jade is not wrong. She and Leila look like total stars on their way to the ring.
After a couple minutes, Cargill hit Jaded to go to 49-0.
WINNER: Jade Cargill & Leila Grey
Action Andretti vs Daniel Garcia
Backstory: Andretti beat Jericho in a shock upset; embarrassed, the JAS have been attacking him ever since. Also, Garcia gets Sammy Guevara’s spot in next week’s tag if he wins here.
So it’s the guy from the JAS we’re seemingly supposed to sympathize with – again – versus the guy facing the JAS who we’re definitely supposed to sympathize with.
Garcia was wearing his new leather pants a la Jericho as Sammy joined on comms. Andretti seemed to get a decent response from the crowd as he came out. They were Silent for Garcia.
Who flew out the blocks, attacking before Andretti could remove his gear.
Action responded with a handspring elbow then threw his jacket into the crowd. Pursuing Garcia to the corner with stiff chops, he then dropped him via tejeiras and bagged a quick two count after a springboard tornillo.
Continuing his dominance, he sent Garcia packing to ringside after an enziguri then took flight with a suicide dive which isn’t quite at the Allin/Fenix level but certainly packed a punch.
Garcia wanted a timeout, avoided a baseball slide then struck with a clothesline at ringside. And you know what that means! Break time.
The pace of this match is noticeably different from the others tonight.
Andretti in trouble as we returned, on his knees, Garcia with wrist control, slapping the face with his boot as Action fired-up. To his feet, he shook off stiffer and stiffer boots to the jaw as Jericho and Guevara finally acknowledged the stip. if Garcia wins. The commentators have done a poor job lately emphasizing what’s at stake in matches.
Exploding with a leaping clothesline, then a running lariat, Andretti hit a neckbreaker and was firing up again, causing Garcia to bail outside with AA on the top rope. He hopped straight off the top to the apron then springboarded into a moonsault and just about made contact.
Before flinging his opponent back inside to eat a split-leg for two slaps of the mat.
Jericho was beginning to reluctantly acknowledge that Andretti had talent but growing more and more frustrated with Garcia’s inability to beat him.
Just as Action again sprung back off the ropes. This time, Garcia was ready, trapping him into a choke. Until Andretti got his shoulders up to leverage a two count, breaking the hold then striking with an enziguri. Garcia responded with another big boot, Andretti fired back with a thrust kick then hit a neckbreaker out of an F5 for nearly three.
Andretti Flair-flipped to the apron out of an Irish whip but Garcia again caught the incoming springboard attack, clocking him in the jaw as he landed then hitting a sit-out pumphandle for two. Getting more and more desperate he then hooked the trunks during a roll-up to get another two.
Andretti then caught him with a boot and launched a tornillo off the top which landed way short, right into his running shooting star to bag another win over the JAS.
There was nothing wrong with this, it was wrestled at a good pace but something was missing. It lacked intensity, feeling less like a feud and more like just a random match with no stakes. Though that might also have been impacted by the crowd who were quiet for most of the hour.
WINNER: Action Andretti
…..
Next Dynamite:
Jungle Boy & Hook (JungleHook…) vs Matt Hardy & Ethan Page
Darby Allin w/ Sting vs Buddy Matthews (Ok! if we’re revisiting the Malakai/Sting stuff, that might finally get the HOB some tv time)
Toni Storm vs Ruby Soho vs Britt Baker
Family Therapy w/ the Gunns & the Acclaimed
Brian Cage vs Bryan Danielson
Le Sex Gods vs Ricky Starks & Action Andretti
…..
Overall impressions
Rampage has been doing slightly better ratings lately. Mostly because stars like Moxley have been on the show. Be surprising if that continues with tonight’s lineup.

This wasn’t a bad show, it was solid, but there’s nothing worth going out your way for
A fundraising effort for Jay Briscoe’s family shot up to $221,000 just a few days after it was set up following the death of the ROH Hall of Famer.
Created to help ease any burden on the family that may arise from this tragedy, the fundraiser on GivesEndGo.com attracted thousands of dollars donated by many within the wrestling industry, including $20,000 from The Young Bucks, $15,000 from Chris Jericho, $10,000 from Kevin Owens, $5,000 from Adam Cole, $3,000 from Dax Harwood, $2,000 from Jim Cornette, and many many more.
The money will surely help medical costs of the two daughters who were in the car at the time of the fatal car crash. They suffered multiple injuries and had to undergo surgery, with the 12-year-old still feeling paralyzed from her knees down.
Wrestling is an exciting sport that requires both physical and mental strength as well as endurance. While some medicines can boost your endurance level, not all are legal or good for your body. However, are you a wrestler looking to gain an edge over others? Delta-9, a supplement made from hemp extract, may be the solution you’re searching for.
Meanwhile, Delta-9 enhances energy, focus, and endurance in athletes, including wrestlers. In this post, we will examine the potential benefits and risks of using Delta-9 for wrestlers. We’ll also help you determine if it’s the appropriate choice.
What Is Delta-9?
Delta-9 refers to one of the compounds found in hemp and marijuana plants known as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Further, THC is the primary psychoactive compound in marijuana and is responsible for the “high” that people experience when they consume it.
Meanwhile, Delta-9 THC is a Schedule I controlled substance under federal law. However, some states have legalized it for medical or recreational use. Due to its medicinal benefits, you can use it as a supplement.
How Is Delta-9 Used?
Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) primarily has psychoactive effects on users. This means it gets them high. Meanwhile, you can consume this compound by smoking or vaporizing the dried flowers of the marijuana plant. You can also use it in various forms, such as edibles, tinctures, capsules, and oils. Delta-9 gummies are especially popular because they are discreet, and offer accurate doses without being overpowering. Gummies make it easier to keep track of your cannabis dosage compared to other methods such as vaporizing or smoking flower products. However, it’s important to verify whether Delta-9 gummies are right for you before you purchase them. Get all the Delta-9 gummies information you need by reading Delta-9 gummies reviews from trusted sources such as Nature & Bloom to decide whether these tasty treats are the best way for you to ingest your favorite product. Whether Delta-9 gummies are worth it or not is up to you and depends on many factors, but having all the facts can help you make a more informed decision.
If gummies don’t work for you, you can consume Delta-9 supplements orally as capsules, oil, or tinctures. The supplement benefits athletes, including wrestlers, by providing increased energy, focus, and endurance.
What Are the Effects of Delta-9?
The effects of Delta-9 usage vary with users and the dosage is taken. Meanwhile, the following are some common effects:
Euphoria: Delta-9 can produce a sense of joy or “high.”
Relaxation: Delta-9 can relax the body and mind, reducing stress and anxiety.
Pain relief: Delta-9 is used as an analgesic; it can help alleviate pain and discomfort.
Altered perception: Delta-9 can alter the user’s perception of time and space and cause sensory perception changes.
Increased appetite: Delta-9 is known to increase appetite, a side effect known as “the munchies.”
Dry mouth: Delta-9 usage can cause dry mouth or cottonmouth.
Red eyes: Delta-9 usage can cause red eyes or dry eyes.
Drowsiness: Delta-9 can cause drowsiness and sedation, making it difficult to concentrate or stay awake.
What Are the Risks Associated With Delta-9?
Delta-9, also known as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), is the primary psychoactive component of cannabis, and as such, its use can result in certain risks. These risks include:
Addiction: Regular use of Delta-9 can lead to the development of a substance use disorder, also called “addiction.”
Mental health issues: Delta-9 use can worsen the symptoms of certain mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. Also, high Delta-9 intake can cause paranoia, hallucinations, and temporary psychosis.
Impaired cognitive function: The use of Delta-9 can impair cognitive function, making it difficult to concentrate, remember things, or think clearly.
Respiratory problems: Smoking or vaping Delta-9 can damage the lungs and lead to respiratory problems.
Interaction with other medications: Delta-9 can interact with other medicines, so it is crucial to speak with a doctor or pharmacist before using it if you are taking other medications.
Is Delta-9 Legal?
The legality of Delta-9 varies among countries and states. Similarly, in the United States, the legality of Delta-9 depends on cannabis legality which varies by state. As of 2021, many states have legalized cannabis for medical and recreational purposes, while others still consider it illegal.
However, it is essential to check the laws in your locality before using Delta-9. Federal law still classifies cannabis as a Schedule I controlled substance, making it illegal under federal law.
In Canada, cannabis is legal for medical and recreational use, but the laws vary by province. Also, in many other countries, cannabis and its derivatives, including Delta-9, are illegal.
Is Delta-9 Good for Wrestlers?
Delta-9, a strong anabolic steroid, can aid wrestlers in increasing their muscle mass and strength.
Delta-9 has fat-burning properties, which can help wrestlers lose weight safely and quickly.
It can be effective in helping wrestlers gain muscle weight.
Overall, Delta-9 can be a helpful drug for wrestlers who wish to enhance their size, strength, and weight-cutting abilities.
Delta-9 also possesses strength-enhancing properties, which can benefit wrestlers by boosting their performance.
Conclusion
Delta-9 is a supplement made from hemp extract that helps wrestlers increase their energy, focus, and endurance levels. Ultimately, whether or not Delta-9 is suitable for you as a wrestler will depend on you as an individual, and the legality varies by country and state.
In an interview with the UK-based Distraction Pieces podcast with Scroobius Pip, William Regal talked about his work in All Elite Wrestling and how his original mission never transpired.
Regal explained that he’s happy not to be in the limelight but the last few months in AEW, he felt that he was being the focus when the focus should have been the wrestlers he was managing.
“There’s a lot that happened this year, there’s also a lot of things that have made me go,” Regal said. “I’m quite happy being not in the limelight, and I have been for many years. I had my time. The last little few months in AEW was getting far too much about me and it should have been about the talent that I was with, not about me. I’m quite happy being in the background.”
Regal said he didn’t go to AEW with the intention of being an on-screen talent and the original idea was something different.
“I went there with a different plan because I was asked to go there to help out in a different capacity and that never transpired,” the in-ring veteran said.
The former NXT GM was supposed to help backstage and be hands-on with the product and the wrestlers in the company but ultimately, AEW President Tony Khan shifted him to an on-screen role.
“I couldn’t have a better last few months as far as TV and doing that but I didn’t go there with that intention. The intention was to do something different and it just never…it started off the way it did but I didn’t expect it to end up being this thing that it was for the last several months where I just became talent,” Regal added.
Regal left AEW at the end of December and now occupies a VP role in WWE.

On March 27, 2023, the WWE returns to the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, for the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw. Adding to the excitement for Arizona locals, it takes place in the week leading up to WrestleMania 39.
Unfortunately, Arizona locals hoping to get tickets for WWE Monday Night Raw will have to approach resellers because the event is sold out.
WWE fandom has elevated since Triple H replaced Vince McMahon as the Head of Creative, resulting in an incline for ticket sales and TV viewership. The go-home episode of Raw for the Showcase of the Immortals will take place from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. And the event had already sold out before the start of 2023.
Behind their Patreon paywall, WrestleTix announced the Footprint Center will have 6068 seats for this specific episode of Raw, and by December 28, 5325 of those seats had already been sold. This left 743 with four months until the event occurred, guaranteeing a sell-out event.
And as we’re now just two months out, it’s official. The tickets are sold out for this Arena, which also hosted the go-home show for Money in the Bank 2022 and SummerSlam 2021.
Go-home episodes before a live pay-per-view event showcase the stars, storylines, and matchups that appear on the PLE. The go-home events before WrestleMania are the biggest deal, as they’ll take place just days before the biggest wrestling show on earth. The upcoming go-home episode in Phoenix will feature several superstars scheduled to compete at WrestleMania 39.
It’s that time of the year, the most crucial stretch for pro wrestling fans, as the Rumble and WrestleMania are on the horizon. And as the last edition of Monday Night Raw will take place in Arizona, just days later, the roster will appear in Los Angeles, California, for the biggest show of the year.
The WWE rumor mill adds to the excitement of WrestleMania every year, and it’s no different in 2023. Who will show their face at WM39? Will we see the return of some beloved old-timers? And will we finally see an appearance from John Cena or The Rock?
In a recent interview with Wrestling Observer Radio, the status of Cena and the Rock was discussed.
“They expect John Cena at WrestleMania, and as far as The Rock goes, it just depends on his schedule. I would say we’re within two weeks of a yes or no on that one because they’ve got to have their answer by Royal Rumble. After all, they’ve got to know what to do at the Rumble.”
The Great One hasn’t been inside a WWE ring since 2019, and John Cena recently returned to tag with Kevin Owens in a victorious bout versus Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.
However, we expect tight lips to remain on the status of The Rock. The WWE will be forming the perfect storyline should Dwayne Johnson return, and the speculation outside of the ring continues whether or not he’ll be at this year’s WrestleMania.
Former WWE Tag Team Champion Renee Dupree believes the Hollywood star will enter the ring again.
“Rock. Trust me. Listen, if there’s going to be a place sold out, it’s because The Rock is rumored to be there,” he said.
If The Rocks’ comeback is set for 2023, there’s no denying that WrestleMania would be the venue. And as Hollywood has been the new home for multi-time WWE Champ, this year’s showcase event in LA is a romantic return date.
Most critics expect The Rock to return and face his cousin, the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. The storyline is set; a family feud is nothing new in the WWE, and with two of the biggest names in the company’s history involved, it would undoubtedly assist in skyrocketing the viewership and media attention of WrestleMania 39.
WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley has announced on social media that he is no longer working with WWE as the two have decided to part ways.
Dudley said that he feels this was the best decision for all parties involved and it was a pleasure and honor to work with the younger talent at NXT.
“Would like to thank Vince, Paul (HHH), Stephanie, and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the opportunity that was given,” he wrote. “I’m very excited to see where God brings me next, oh my brother…TESTIFY!!!!”
D-Von also thanked everyone who supported him over the years and said he had a great 32-year career in the business, noting that 20 of them were with Bubba and he’s sure somewhere down the road they’ll do it again.
D-Von worked with WWE as a producer since 2016 and for the past couple of years was working out of Orlando with the NXT brand.
This week’s episode of Dynamite drew 969,000 viewers, up 2,000 viewers from last week’s broadcast and the most-watched episode since October 26, 2022. The show drew a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 0.02 from the prior week and placed #3 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
Following PROGRESS Wrestling’s announcement that they will no longer be featured on the WWE Network, Insane Championship Wrestling wrote on Twitter that their contract with WWE has also come to an end.
“We’ll be revealing the new homes of ICW programming in due course. In the meantime, all unaired programming will air on YouTube and ICW On Demand,” the company said on Twitter.
ICW, along with PROGRESS, wXw, and EVOLVE joined the WWE Network in August 2020. EVOLVE was eventually bought out by WWE so that content will remain online.
NXT drew 600,000 viewers this week, down 100,000 viewers from the previous week which was the New Year’s Evil themed episode. NXT had a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 0.01 from last week and placed #26 on the chart.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Warner Bros. Discovery did not allow AEW to hold a Jay Briscoe tribute show on Dynamite last night.
Jay and his brother Mark were banned from appearing on AEW television by Warner Bros. Discovery due to several old homophobic comments which Jay made over a decade ago. Briscoe had since apologized for his comments but the apology was not enough for WBD to allow them on screen.

After he continuously refused the settle, WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon has agreed to a multi million-dollar legal settlement with former referee Rita Chatterton according to the Wall Street Journal.
Chatterton accused McMahon of rape in the back of a limousine in 1986 and then requested $11.75 million in damages in a letter sent to McMahon’s attorney back in November.
“Ms. Chatterton agreed to a lesser amount in the millions of dollars, one of the people familiar with the matter said, but the Journal couldn’t determine the exact figure,” the WSJ wrote.
McMahon’s attorney, Jerry McDevitt, told the WSJ that Vince denies and has always denied raping Chatterton and settled the case simply to avoid the cost of litigation.
Chatterton’s attorney John Clune and WWE didn’t respond to WSJ’s request for comments.
The former WWE referee was able to legally go after the WWE Chairman after New York recently opened a one-year window that allow victims of sex crimes to file lawsuits which otherwise would have been barred by the statue of limitations.

The Volusia County Sheriff told TMZ that Nash informed them that he doesn’t plan on committing suicide and told them he’s fine when they visited him in person.
