AEW films ROH tribute show to Jay Briscoe following Dynamite

AEW taped a tribute show for Jay Briscoe last night, titled Celebration of Life, following the conclusion of Dynamite, making it a very long night for those in attendance as Dark Elevation and Rampage were also taped in conjunction with the live Dynamite and the tribute show.

The show will be airing on the Honor Club streaming service as well for free on the ROH YouTube channel.

Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman took charge of commentary and in total, seven matches were taped plus an in-ring segment from Adam Cole. The matches featured Wheeler Yuta vs Hagane Shinno for the ROH Pure title, Marina Shafir vs Mighty Myra, Eddie Kingston vs QT Marshall, Athena vs Madison Rayne for the ROH Women’s title, Yuka Sakazaki vs Sandra Moone, Juice Robinson vs Brandon Cutler, and Claudio Castagnoli vs Christopher Daniels for the ROH World title.

Briscoe, who passed away on Tuesday in a car accident, has been a mainstay in Ring of Honor since 2002, winning numerous titles along the way.
