In a four-minute segment on CNBC’s Squawk on the Street, David Faber reported that there are multiple parties involved in the potential sale of WWE and the sale “not just live, but going quite well.”
Faber added that sources expect the sale to happen in the “not too distant future” and according to his sources, CNBC’s parent company, Comcast, is not part of the sale process.
Comcast has a big interest in WWE in the sense that they pay over $250 million per year for Raw and NXT and over $250 million per year for the WWE Network to air on Peacock.
Jim Cramer, another host on the show, said that WWE has “the best minds he’s ever met” and called WWE a “winner” when it comes to direct-to-consumer business.
Appearing on his wife’s The Sessions podcast, former AEW champion Jon Moxley revealed that he was not under an AEW contract during the Summer and said if he wanted he could have showed up at SummerSlam with the AEW World title if he wanted.
In a bombshell interview mainly tackling CM Punk’s Instagram post, Moxley said that he took his time to sign a new AEW deal because he wanted to take things slow and then AEW extended his contract for the time he spent in rehab, locking him down for a couple of more months.
Eventually he signed a new five-year deal with the company but Mox said that things weren’t pretty when CM Punk showed up following his injury and he was still working without a contract back then.
“I basically don’t work there. For all intents and purposes, I don’t even work here,” Mox said recounting the days when Punk returned. “Tony is not my boss. I don’t even have to be in this room. I don’t have to do shit. So even me being in this room and offering and agreeing to a storyline that puts you over on a pay-per-view, if anything, I’m bending over backwards for Tony and for this dude and the company and everybody.”
Mox said that he didn’t have to do what he he did and blasted the few who make a lot of drama backstage and bring them forward on social media.
He said after eight years on the independent scene, few years in developmental, and eight years in WWE, he never seen so much “bullshit drama” in one place in his entire life.
“I hate to say that and I don’t know if it’s because of the age of social media, shit gets blown out of proportion,” Mox said. “Like one person posts a drunk tweet and all of a sudden it’s all everyone wants to talk about.”
Addressing Punk’s IG post, Mox said that it’s “f*cking annoying” that someone puts something there and it’s news, because it’s not news and he doesn’t want to get dragged into it.
“I could f*cking unload on a lot of f*cking people right now. But I’m not going to sink to that level,” he continued.

However, in most cases, novice punters take a hit by managing their bankroll casually. If that doesn’t lead to an empty wallet, you are merely lucky. In this article, we will guide you through the world of MMA betting and teach you how to manage your bankroll effectively.
Setting Your Limits: Establishing Your MMA Betting Bankroll
According to studies, the overall number of persons participating in MMA increased by around 23 percent between the years 2010 and 2021, reaching almost 6.2 million. To be a successful MMA punter, learning how to keep your wallet intact is a must to rise to the top of the competition. Thus, the first step in successful bankroll management is to set a limit on how much you are willing to bet.
Your bankroll should be an amount you can afford to lose without negatively impacting your financial situation. Whether it’s $50 or $500, stick to your limit and avoid betting more than you can afford.
Winning with Strategy: Bankroll Management Techniques for MMA Betting
Once you’ve established your bankroll, the next step is to develop a strategy that will help you protect and grow it. Here are some tips on effective bankroll management:
Bankroll Allocation
Divide your bankroll into smaller units, so you can bet a set amount on each match. This will help you avoid overspending on a single bet and keep your bankroll protected.
Betting Size and Unit Size
Determine your betting size based on the size of your bankroll. As a general rule, your betting unit should be between 1% and 5% of your bankroll.
Managing Losses and Avoiding Chasing Losses
Losing streaks are a part of sports betting. However, it’s important not to chase your losses by increasing your bets to recover your losses.
Follow your plan and refrain from acting rashly or on the basis of your feelings.
Bankroll Monitoring and Adjustment
Maintain a record of your winnings and losses and modify your betting strategy as necessary. If you’re on a losing streak, consider reducing your betting unit until you get back on track.
Risk vs. Reward: How to Manage Risk in MMA Betting
MMA betting involves taking risks, but it’s important to manage them effectively to protect your bankroll. Here are some tips on managing risk in MMA betting:
Identifying and Analyzing Risk Factors
Look at the fighters’ records, their styles, and their performances in previous fights. Analyze their strengths and weaknesses and identify any potential risks that could affect the outcome of the match.
Balancing Risk and Reward in Betting Decisions
Keep in mind that the potential payoff increases with risk. However, it’s important to weigh the risks and rewards before making a betting decision. Don’t bet on a long shot just because the potential reward is high.
Pro Tips: Tricks for Winning at MMA Betting
Here are some additional tips and tricks that can help you succeed in MMA betting:
Sticking to Your Strategy
Once you’ve developed a strategy, stick to it. Don’t let emotions or external factors sway your decisions.
Avoiding Emotional Betting Decisions
Don’t bet on your favorite fighter just because you like them. Make informed decisions based on research and analysis.
Using Data and Statistics to Inform Your Bets
Look at the data and statistics, such as the fighters’ win-loss records, their styles, and their performances in previous fights. This information can help you make informed decisions and reduce your risk.
Wrap
Managing your bankroll effectively is crucial to success in MMA betting. By setting a limit, developing a strategy, managing risk, and using data and statistics to inform your bets, you can increase your chances of success and protect your bankroll from losses. Remember: stick to your strategy, avoid emotional decisions, and conduct thorough research before making a bet.
Former WWE Diva Kelly Kelly announced that she is pregnant in an exclusive interview with ET.
This will be her first child with husband Joe Coba. Kelly is 14 weeks into the pregnancy and is expected to give birth on September 25.
“I am feeling amazing,” Kelly Kelly tells ET exclusively. “I’ve been dreaming about this journey to motherhood for so long and starting a family with my incredibly supportive husband, Joe. Now that it’s here, it’s just been such a great experience.”
Kelly suffered a miscarriage in August 2021 a few months after she got married and she wanted to share her story of loss and today’s joy.

“This definitely means taking a break from wrestling for a while for sure, to really focus on my new family,” she says. “I love getting the chance to perform for the fans whenever I can, and WWE has always been great about leaving the door open for me whenever I want to come back. So who knows what will happen in the future after the baby? Maybe we will have a future wrestler on our hands?”
The fatal four-way tag team showcase women’s match for WrestleMania is now complete with the final team of Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville added to the mix.

She’s got legs…and now, she’s got a Hall of Fame ring as well! Stacy Keibler has been announced as the newest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023. The news was broken by PEOPLE.COM.
“I’m so excited to finally share the news! Thank you to all my fans for making this possible! So grateful to @wwe & @people for their support,” she wrote on Twitter.
Keibler, now 43 years old, said she was shocked when she got the call two weeks ago and had tears in her eyes.
The popular star worked for WCW as a Nitro Girl and later as a manger between 1999 and 2001 and then moved to WWE in 2001 where her career skyrocketed. She was part of perhaps one of the most hilarious segments on WWE television when she auditioned to be Mr McMahon’s personal assistant on an episode of Smackdown, a segment which to this day has memes all over the internet.
Keibler left WWE in July 2006 and in 2019 made a surprise return to induct Torrie Wilson into the WWE Hall of Fame.
NXT stars will be performing in front of their largest crowd since February 2020 this coming Saturday at Stand & Deliver.
The 10AM local start time event, airing exclusively on Peacock and WWE Network, has over 6,700 tickets sold so far at the Crypto.com Arena, surpassing last year’s attendance of 4,300 in Dallas.
The last time NXT stars performed in front of a larger audience was at NXT Takeover: Portland, a month before the pandemic hit. 6,700 tickets is still a far cry from what Takeover events used to do in the past during Mania weekends, but for post-pandemic NXT, it’s certainly a step in the right direction.
NXT Stand & Deliver will be headlined by Bron Breakker vs Carmelo Hayes for the NXT title.
Cody Rhodes uploaded a photo of his custom-made weight belt which he will wear at WrestleMania, featuring his name on the outside and a list of all the wrestling promotions he wrestled for on the inside.
“In many respects I’m alone out there, but also I’m not,” Rhodes wrote on Twitter. “Carry it with you, all of it.”
Promotions such as EVOLVE, Northeast Wrestling, Big Time Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, RCW, Crash Wrestling, DEFY Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, IPW: UK, VIP Wrestling, Ring of Honor, Limitless Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, WrestlePro, and others are seen in the image.
The most important one, All Elite Wrestling, is likely there as well, but not visible, and maybe on purpose, on the image that Rhodes uploaded.
Cody has the chance to become the first WWE champion in his family this Sunday. He already holds a pinfall victory over Reigns in a tag team match where he teamed up with his brother against The Shield at Battleground 2013.
Former IWGP Women’s champion KAIRI is a free agent again. The Japanese star spilled the beans herself – through a translator – while appearing on The Ten Count podcast with Steve Fall.
KAIRI returned to Japan last year after departing WWE and signed with Bushiroad, the parent company of New Japan Pro-Wrestling and STARDOM. But she wrestled just 12 matches in total, with her last one just a few days ago at the STARDOM New Blood Premium pay-per-view, losing in a tag team match.
Asked where she would like to go, KAIRI said she’d love to go back to the United States if there’s another chance, mentioning the likes of Asuka, IYO SKY, Bayley, Shayna Baszler, Saraya, Toni Storm, and Jamie Hayter as those who she would like to work with.
In the interview, KAIRI said that WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon told her that the door was always open for her when she left and they would always welcome back her if she decides to return.
KAIRI wrestled her last WWE match in July 2020, defeating Bayley on an episode of Raw from the WWE Performance Center. She then worked as a WWE ambassador in Japan until her deal ran out.
She returned to STARDOM in March 2022 and won the inaugural IWGP Women’s championship at the NJPW/STARDOM Historic X-over pay-per-view in November. She lost the title to Mercedes Mone last month at Battle in the Valley.
Tickets for the Impact Slammiversary pay-per-view went on sale today.
Slammiversary will take place on Saturday, July 15 from St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, and start from $30. There is also the option to purchase tickets for the Slammiversary fallout Impact episode which will be taped the following day from the same location.
Front row VIP seats cost $150 or $250 for both nights. Other floor seats are $100, $75, and $50, or $160, $120, and $75 for both nights. All prices are Canadian dollars. Floor seats include pre-show meet and greet session.
On Friday morning, the Millennium Biltmore hotel in Downtown Los Angeles will be transformed into a Mecca for wrestling fans in town for WrestleMania weekend.
A WrestleMania staple, WrestleCon is back for what could be their biggest convention yet. Spanning over three days, nearly 200 current and former wrestlers and other wrestling personalities will be on hand to meet the thousands of fans who will wait hours in lines to get a photo or an autograph.
The road to Los Angeles took a detour this year with a stop in San Antonio for a surprise WrestleCon during Royal Rumble weekend. Needless to say, the convention, a smaller version of what Highspots usually sets up for WrestleMania, was a massive success.
“We have been talking about doing something smaller for years based around pay-per-views and we just felt San Antonio would be a great market,” explained Michael Bochicchio, the brains behind WrestleCon and Highspots. He described San Antonio as a great town and it was easy to assemble a street team the day before to spread the word about Destination: WrestleCon at the Marriott at San Antonio’s River Walk.
Bochicchio admitted he and his team had no idea what to expect for the one-day event, especially since they didn’t pre-sell anything. “It really blew away all expectations,” he said, although noting that entrance was free unlike the bigger WrestleCon during Mania weekends.
Destination: WrestleCon was not a one-time thing either. Bochicchio said that plans are already underway for Detroit during SummerSlam weekend and future WrestleCons will be based depending on the market the big shows are in.
“If an event is in Philly, Chicago, or New York, we probably won’t do this type of event,” Michael continued. “Those markets constantly have meet and greet opportunities whereas a market like San Antonio and Detroit are under-served.
While San Antonio might have been an easier deal, booking a space for the size of WrestleCon in Los Angeles is a different beast altogether. Unfortunately for Bochicchio, he had to do it twice, as WrestleMania 37 was supposed to be in Los Angeles before it was moved to 39 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The first time WWE was planning to go to Los Angeles, we had an entirely different hotel under contract. When the dates got moved, our original hotel didn’t have availability so we had to find a second option,” Bochicchio said.
The new hotel is the Biltmore Los Angeles, part of the Millennium brand, located on S Grand Ave, just a few minutes away from the Crypto.com Arena in downtown. The hotel has played part in many movies along the years, such as Ghostbusters and Beverly Hills Cop.
It’s also considered to be one of the most haunted hotels in the United States. One of the most publicized murders was that of Elizabeth Short, known as the Black Dahlia, who was found brutally murdered in January 1947, a murder which has so far remained unsolved. Her body was found sliced in half at the waist and completely drained of blood. Legend has it that Short’s ghost continues to haunt the lobby, 10th and 11th floors of The Biltmore to this day. The lobby is the last place where Short was seen alive.
“Some things were meant to be. Our hotel is excited about wrestling fans taking over their hotel,” he said. That’s not something all hotels openly say, but it spells good news for those who will be staying there for WrestleMania weekend. Hopefully, for fans spending nights here, Short’s ghost remains hidden and is not curious to see what the chants of “Wooooo!” and “Yes!” and “What?” are about, typical chants which fill hotels when wrestling fans are around.
More people are expected in Los Angeles than Dallas last year for this year’s show and Bochicchio said that their Dallas crowd was very good and this year they’re on track to be on the same level. You will notice a difference though as this year, WrestleCon is spread out over three different floors and in seven huge rooms to accommodate everyone.
One thing we noticed this year was that the price was kept the same as previous years. We asked if inflation miraculously didn’t hit Highspots. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
“Inflation certainly hit,” Bochicchio said. “But since we don’t offer live shows as part of package this year, we felt we had to keep prices in line with previous years.”
He admitted that the popular Superfan ticket, where fans purchase one ticket for $139 and get access to all days, might not come again next year so they wanted to make sure they went out with some consistency between the last two years in terms of pricing.
The line-up this year is huge, with a lot of first-timers as well such as Mercedes Mone, who is expected to bring big lines for her Sunday morning appearance. Trish Status and Lita, who are popular at these shows, are also returning despite being busy at WrestleMania. Bret Hart, Goldberg, The Young Bucks, Adam Cole, Mick Foley, Jon Moxley, Kurt Angle, Britt Baker, FTR, and many others are also part of the impressive line-up.
“Every year is hard to compare against the other, but I think we have the biggest stars that were available to us,” Bochicchio said when the magnitude of that line-up was brought up. “We certainly would love to have guys like Steve Austin every year, but his strong ties to the WWE limit his availability.”
Two individuals who don’t really like each other, or at least one doesn’t like the other, will cross paths in the first session. Goldberg will only be there for one day while Bret “Hit Man” Hart will be there for all sessions.
There’s no love lost between Goldberg and Bret and everyone knows the backstory. “I’m planning on putting their tables next to each other,” joked Bochicchio.
“Honestly, we tried to pull off a dual photo op and that was shut down quickly,” Michael continued. Oh well, there’s always next time, right?
A new addition to WrestleCon this year is Straight Outta WrestleCon, an after party which will take place at the Globe Theatre. This is the first time there will be something of this nature during the popular convention.
“This is definitely a feature that I would expect to be unique to Los Angeles. We are in the entertainment capital of the world after all, so why not do a VIP party with music, dance, and spoken word,” Bochicchio said. “Honestly, we looked at doing another live event on Friday night and just decided that 100 shows in one weekend was enough, so let’s try to do something different.”
Meet and greets are not the only thing WrestleCon has that weekend. The Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super-Show takes place on March 30 at 4PM, the sold-out Impact x NJPW: Multiverse United show takes place on the same day at 8PM, a Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling event is set for March 31 at Noon, and Prestige Wrestling: Nervous Breakdown is also taking place on March 31 at 4PM. And not to mention the other shows from different promotions throughout the Los Angeles area that weekend.
“I also wanted to create something of value for the Superfans, a place they could just relax and enjoy on Friday night that wouldn’t cost them anything more to do. They are already supporting us by purchasing their hotel rooms, bus tickets, and admission sessions, we felt this was something we could do that would be fun for everybody,” Michael said.
Several stars are scheduled to be part of the after party including Mickie James, Colt Cabana, Mick Foley, and AEW’s Max Caster, whose set is apparently amazing.
Fans attending WrestleCon will be able to use both cash and credit cards at the convention although not everyone will be able to accept a credit card. The issue of credit cards led to some long lines in San Antonio, with fans having to line up at a different station to purchase their photo ops with a card and then go in line to meet their favorite stars.
Bochicchio said that there’s some misconception about WrestleCon that they bring all the talent, when in fact, they don’t.
“They either bring themselves or they are brought in by a vendor. While I understand it’s frustrating when talent doesn’t do preorders or they don’t accept credit cards, they also are trying to make things easier on themselves,” he said.
Bochicchio noted that there was a percentage of fans who tried to do charge-backs on their credit card following their event in an attempt to get their money back after getting their photo or autograph. This was very frustrating for Highspots who had to challenge them, as well as the stars who accepted cards at the event.
“If a wrestler or vendor is happy with the money they take in without having to use those methods, who are we to judge?” he said.
Bochicchio encouraged fans to bring cash if they choose not to pay in advance but noted that more than half of their vendors will accept credit cards, Venmo, or PayPal on site. Since they only do WrestleCon once or twice a year, he said it was not feasible to invest in around 200 credit card terminals at each table. ATMs inside the hotel and around the Biltmore can also be used to get cash if required.
The Pro Photo Op option is also returning this year, but this time it will be different.
Bochicchio said that their biggest mistake in Dallas last year was taking on this themselves, with the operation for professional photos taking many of his staff away when they could have been used somewhere else.
This year, Pose Photos will be doing all the work for these professional photos. Pose Photos is a company that specializes in pro photos and does these at some of the largest conventions in the country.
“A pro photo allows fans to avoid spending excessive time in lines if they just want to get a professional shot photo. I understand it’s not for everybody, but for those that value time and quality above all else during Mania week, it’s a great alternative to standing in a long line and shooting a picture on their personal cell phone,” Bochicchio explained.
Once this WrestleCon is over and done with, work will continue on Destination: WrestleCon in Detroit for SummerSlam weekend. Work on the Philly one has not started yet, but next year’s WrestleCon for WrestleMania 40 will undergo some changes.
“I’m sure we’ll have plenty of time to put something together in Philly, but I do expect it to look very different than the types of events we have done in LA, NOLA, NY, and Dallas,” Bochiccio said. “It’s a market that is over saturated with live events and fan conventions.”
Fans who wish to attend WrestleCon this year can purchase the individual tickets for $44 at WrestleCon.com. Session 1 will run on Friday, March 31 between 10AM and 2PM. Session 2 is strictly for Superfan tickets. Session 3 is on Saturday, April 1 from 10AM to 2PM and the same for session 4 on Sunday, April 2.
Jeremy Marcus, a former referee for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, has joined WWE in the same role and has been assigned to the NXT brand.
“I’m excited to join the NXT officiating crew,” Marcus wrote in a post on his social media. “Very honored to be a part of this hard working team.”
He officially started on Saturday, donning the zebra stripes for the non-televised live event in Florida.
Marcus was recently the referee for the IWGP World Heavyweight title match between champion Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi at the Battle in the Valley event in February.

1. Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker Hell in a Cell, 2002 for the WWE Championship: A Battle of Titans
When two of WWE’s most dominant wrestlers step into the ring for a Hell in a Cell match, you know it will be intense. The 2002 WWE Championship match between former UFC heavyweight Brock Lesnar and the WWE Hall of Fame Undertaker was no exception. The steel cage added to the drama as both wrestlers used their strength and skills to try to come out on top.
The match took a gruesome turn when The Undertaker suffered a deep cut on his forehead, adding to the already brutal visuals of the match. Despite the injury, both wrestlers continued to fight until Lesnar emerged as the winner. This match will go down in history as one of WWE’s most memorable and dangerous fights.
2. The Undertaker vs Mankind at WWE King of the Ring, 1998: A High-Flying, Death-Defying Match
The Undertaker and Mankind’s 1998 King of the Ring match is a testament to just how far wrestlers are willing to go to entertain their fans. The match took place on top of a steel cage, and the action quickly escalated to a dangerous level. Mankind was thrown off the cage onto the announcer’s table, a moment still discussed today.
Despite the fall, Mankind got back up and climbed back onto the cage, only to be thrown through it onto the canvas. The match was gruelling and dangerous, showcasing the wrestlers’ strength, resilience, and willingness to put their bodies on the line for the sake of entertainment.
3. Edge/Lita/Foley vs Funk/Dreamer/Beulah – One Night Stand, 2006: A Hardcore Match for the Ages

The WWE has produced some of the most dangerous and violent matches in wrestling history. Josh Alexander, the now former Impact World champion, wrote that he is taking a break from social media to concentrate on getting better following surgery and spend more time with his family.
Alexander said that the only time he’s missed in his career was for his second neck surgery and in those nine months off, he had enough time to reflect and plan to come back and right any wrong he had previously done.
“In 7 yrs since coming back from that I’ve left it all in the ring every damn time. Wether 5, 50, 500 or 5000 in attendance you always got everything I had,” Alexander wrote.
“I love this sport, this business. Whatever you want to call it. Now out indefinitely with a torn tricep you can bet I’ll make the best of this time off too. I will be back and when I am I’ll be better than ever before,” he continued.
Alexander surrendered the Impact World title earlier this week and a new champion will be crowned at the upcoming Rebellion pay-per-view.
