WWE announced today that they are returning to Germany for a four-day tour this coming October.
The shows will be on October 25 at the Olympiahalle in Munich, on October 26 at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, on October 27 at the Barclays Arena in Hamburg, and on October 28 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin.
The Raw brand will be doing these shows and the marketing includes Seth Rollins, The New Day, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Gunther, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens.
Standard tickets and VIP packages – including meet & greet opportunities with WWE Superstars – go on sale this Friday, June 16, at www.livenation.de with an exclusive pre-sale available from Wednesday, June 14.
AEW have released additional floor tickets to All In at Wembley Stadium after production holds have been figured out.
Almost the full stadium is now on sale although there are many rows in Section 500 which have not opened up yet but will be opened if the remaining tickets sell out on Ticketmaster.
All In is around 600 tickets shy of 66,000 tickets out and a gate of over $8 million at the moment, with no matches announced.
This will be AEW’s most-attended show ever and will have the biggest gate for the company. All In has already broken the record for the biggest gate in the United Kingdom in pro wrestling history, surpassing any WWE show, including Clash at the Castle.
Gunther’s Intercontinental title reign reached a full year yesterday, having won it originally on the June 10, 2022 episode of Smackdown against Ricochet.
The leader of Imperium is now gunning to overtake the only two WWE Superstars in front of him who have a longer reign than he does on one run: Macho Man Randy Savage at 414 days and Honky Tonk Man at 454 days.
Honky Tonk Man has the record of the longest-reigning Intercontinental champion of all time, with a record dating back to 1988. HTM’s reign came to an end at SummerSlam that year when the Ultimate Warrior came out and beat him in a few seconds.
If he beats HTM’s record, Gunther then has three people more up the chart in combined days as champion. These are Don Muraco with 539 days on two reigns, The Miz with 592 days on eight reigns, and Pedro Morales with 617 days over two reigns.
All current eight members of the WWE Board of Directors were reelected following the WWE annual meeting of stockholders.
The eight members are Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, Paul Levesque, George Barrios, Steve Koonin, Michelle McKenna, Steve Pamon, and Michelle Wilson.
All of them will serve on the board until the next annual meeting in 2024, although that will change once the merger with Endeavor is approved by the Department of Justice. The board of directors of the new TKO Group Holdings will consist of five members appointed by WWE and six appointed by Endeavor.
The two Money In The Bank ladder matches continue to shape up with four more participants added last night on Smackdown.
Damage CTRL’s Bayley and Iyo Sky advanced to the match in London after they each defeated Michin and Shotzi respectively while Santos Escobar and Butch can also prepare their passport to go across the pond after they beat Mustafa Ali and Baron Corbin in their respective matches.
The women’s match now consists of Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark, Zelina Vega, Bayley, and Io Sky, with one more name yet to be added.
The men’s match has Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, LA Knight, Butch, and Santos Escobar, with another name – either Matt Riddle or Damian Priest – set to join.
NBC has officially canceled Young Rock, the series which followed Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson from his childhood to becoming a global wrestling superstar.
Season three was switched to the dreaded Friday night time slot, often seen by those in Hollywood as the final nail in the coffin for shows which are facing the axe. Going against Smackdown did not help with retaining the audience either.
The show premiered in February 2021 starring Dwayne Johnson himself, Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Ana Tuisila, Fasitua Amosa and John Tui.
Season three of Young Rock failed to cross the 2 million viewership mark, something it did nine times out of 12 episodes last season. Young Rock season three averaged 1,431,000 viewers over 13 episodes, down significantly from the 2,152,000 of season two.
The series was co-created by Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang. Nahnatchka is the sister of WWE CEO Nick Khan. Johnson, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Jennifer Carreras and Brian Gewirtz served as producers of the show.
Asuka’s presentation of the new WWE Women’s Championship was cut short by the return of Charlotte Flair.
Flair, who had been out of action since losing the Smackdown Women’s title to Rhea Ripley on night one of WrestleMania 39, quickly inserted herself into the title picture, even though Adam Pearce told her she has to get in line.
“Excuse me? I don’t wait in line,” Flair said. “I made the line.”
Flair told Asuka that no one respects her more than she does but she wants her title. Asuka screamed something in Japanese and then said she accepted Flair’s challenge. Asuka then tried to spray mist in Flair’s face but Flair ducked and instead gave her a boot to the face and the champion went down.
The match between Asuka and Flair was then made official for the June 30 episode of Smackdown which will take place from London, England, on the eve of Money In The Bank.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team titles and the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles will be unified in a match which will take place on the June 23 episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
The unification match comes after both set of champions – Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler along with Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre – had a confrontation on Smackdown. Baszler told the former NXT stars that there’s no room for both titles on Smackdown and words quickly turned into fists.
With a lack of women tag teams on the WWE roster, unifying these two titles will make the most sense and now with main roster stars appearing on NXT as well, it will be easier for one set of tag team titles to be defended across all brands.
Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn have been NXT Women’s Tag Team champions since the Stand & Deliver premium live event in April while Rousey and Baszler won the titles on the May 29 episode of Raw.
Alex Shelley became the new Impact World champion last night after he beat Steve Maclin in the main event of Against All Odds which aired exclusively on the Impact Plus streaming service.
The 40-year-old, who had multiple stints with the promotion dating back to 2004, has never won Impact’s biggest title although his career there was quite a successful one, winning the tag team titles three times with his partner Chris Sabin and the X Division title once.
His win ends Steve Maclin’s short reign which only started in April at the Rebellion pay-per-view when he beat Kushida in the main event after the title was vacated by Josh Alexander due to his injury. He successfully defended the title twice, against Rhino and PCO.
Shelley’s first title defense will come at the July Slammiversary pay-per-view where he will take on Nick Aldis, who last night became the #1 contender after winning the 8-4-1 match.
The Raw Women’s title is no more and instead WWE introduced the WWE Women’s Championship last night.
The title is similar to the one that Roman Reigns received last week, with the large black WWE logo on a gold plate and white leather strap.
This now replaces the Raw Women’s title which was held by a Smackdown Superstar as WWE didn’t swap the titles like they did in the last draft. The Raw Women’s title was originally the WWE Women’s title, introduced in April 2016 to replace the Divas title.
The WWE Women’s Championship will retain the lineage of the Raw Women’s title.
A similar swap is expected to happen for the Smackdown Women’s title on Raw.
Here are the results from last night’s Against All Odds 2023 which aired live from the Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio.
KiLynn King defeated Nevaeh in the pre-show; Joe Hendry defeated Dirty Dango to retain the Impact Digital Media title in the pre-show; Frankie Kazarian defeated Eddie Edwards; Ace Austin and Chris Bey defeated Jason Hotch and John Skyler to retain the Impact World Tag Team titles; Masha Slamovich defeated Killer Kelly in a dog collar match; Chris Sabin defeated Trey Miguel to become the new Impact X Division champion; Nick Aldis defeated Bully Ray, Jonathan Gresham, Heath, Mike Bailey, Moose, PCO, and Rich Swann in an 8-4-1 match to determine the #1 contender to the Impact World title; Trinity and Deonna Purrazzo defeated Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans; Sami Callihan, Jake Crist, and Madman Fulton defeated Deaner, Kon, and Angels in an Ohio street fight; Alex Shelley defeated Steve Maclin to become the new Impact World champion.
In the ring are Paul Heyman & Solo Sikoa. Before Paul could finish Jey Uso comes to join them.
Jey tells Solo he doesn’t know if he can forgive him for what he did to Jimmy. Paul tells Jey that Roman wants to groom him to be the next Tribal Chief and Jimmy knew that and resents him for that. To prove it to him, he has scheduled him as the right-hand man to face Austin Theory and beat him for the United States Championship.
Paul tells him he needs his answer now. Jey looked at Solo and looked at Paul while Paul held his hand out to shake. Jey said he will take him up on that United States Championship offer but he will get back to him on the handshake.
Santos Escobar VS. Mustafa Ali in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Santos hits Ali with the phantom driver and gets the victory.
Winner: Santos Escobar
In the back Jey Uso runs into Sami Zayn and Sami says when they were all in the Bloodline it was some of the best times of his life. He tells Jey to go with his heart not what is in his ear.
In the ring, Kayla Braxton was set to interview the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn when they are immediately interrupted by the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. They say this division isn’t big enough for the two of them and Fyre and Dawn accept and immediately punch Rousey and Baszler. Dawn and Fyre hold their own and send Rousey and Baszler out of the ring. A unification match is agreed to.
Michael Cole then announces the passing of the Iron Sheik, and a video package is shown about the Hall of Famers’ career.
Bayley VS. Michin Mia Yim in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Rose plant by Bayley and she gets the win.
Winner: Bayley
A.J. Styles was on commentary and was confronted by Scarlett who threw dust in his eyes and Karrion Kross locked him in the Kross Jacket.
Bianca Belair is back talking to Adam Pearce, and he said he is giving Asuka a new Women’s championship and asks her not to attack Asuka tonight. Pearce then tells Bianca she is in line for a rematch and Bianca said she will do him a solid since she is getting her rematch.
As Adam Pearce presents the new Women’s Championship to Asuka, they are interrupted by Charlotte Flair. Pearce tells Charlotte he knows what she is doing, and she has to get in line. Charlotte says she doesn’t wait in line because she made the line. Charlotte then tells Asuka no one respects her more than she does but she is challenging her for that title and Asuka accepts. Charlotte then tells Pearce when he makes the match official, he can put that belt around her waist too. Asuka then tried to mist Charlotte who ducked and took down the champion.
In the locker room, Paul Heyman is talking to Jey Uso again. This time Jey said he doesn’t know why Paul is so happy because if he is in the Bloodline, that means Paul is out of the Bloodline.
Adam Pearce is on the phone and is excited that the Asuka/Charlotte match fell in their laps, just as Bianca walks back in and he tells who he is talking to, that he will call them back and tells Bianca he will figure this all out and Bianca tells him he better.
Trick Williams and The NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes are in the audience for the next match.
Butch VS. Baron Corbin in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
After Butch bites Baron, Baron started an argument with Trick and Carmelo, and Butch takes advantage and rolls him up for the win.
Winner: Butch
Corbin then goes out and picks a fight with Trick and Carmelo.
As the Brawling Brutes were being interviewed backstage, Baron Corbin comes in and says that wasn’t fair with Trick and Carmelo out there and just then Cameron Grimes shoulder blocks him into the garage door leaving Corbin on the ground grimacing in pain.
Shotzi VS. Iyo Sky in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
After Bayley knocks Shotzi off the top rope, Iyo hits her moonsault for the win.
Winner: Iyo Sky
In the back Kayla interviews Austin Theory. Austin says he was the last one to find out about defending his championship tonight. And Jey is going to get sent back to the Bloodline empty handed and if Paul Heyman is looking for a new client after next week, he needs to look at Austin Theory.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are talking in the locker room when teams started coming in to challenge them and Adam Pearce comes in and makes a gauntlet match for next week and the winners get a shot at the tag team champions.
Jey Uso VS. Austin Theory for the United States Championship
The referee gets knocked out and Pretty Deadly comes in and Jimmy comes out and saves Jey. Solo comes out and Jimmy goes to give him a superkick, but he ducks, and Jimmy connects with Jey who was holding Solo’s arm from giving Jimmy a spike. Jimmy throws Solo out and Austin comes to and covers Jey and gets the win.
Winner and Still United States Champion: Austin Theory
After the match, Solo and Paul look on as Jimmy talks with Jey and Jey pushes Jimmy away, Jey leaves the ring and stares down Heyman and Heyman says he is sorry, and Jey just made a motion with his hand like waving it all off.
AEW Rampage tonight comes to us from the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado. After last week drawing 357,000 & 0.12 in the 18-49 demo.

Bandido & Lucha Brothers vs Big Bill, Lee Moriarty & Ethan Page
Backstory: None
Allllready in the ring, Rey and Ethan set us off to chants of ‘Lucha Libre’. Rey living up to the chant, striking with a hurracanrana after a couple duck unders. Page responded with one of his own; Rey turned a suplex into a cradle and hit a dropkick to send Page to his corner. Where he got the tag to Moriarty, Bandido flipping in on the other side.
Straight to a chopfest, Bandido won that, ricocheted off the ropes, was sent to the corner, coming out with a beautiful tornillo then tejeiras. And again the heel was sent reeling back to his own corner to tag.
Sizeable William and Penta squaring off this time. The latter showing ‘no fear’, Bill went right for a chokeslam, tasted a thrust kick then stiff kicks to the legs from Penta but caught him in a chokeslam, the Bro saved by Bandido as he and Fenix hit the ring.
Penta looked for Made in Penta, Bill slipped free but was elevated outside where Penta attempted a tope only to be slapped out of the air by Big Bill’s paw.
Things breaking down as all six brawled around ringside – Penta slammed against the apron by Bill then flung back in. Where the big man threw a couple rights, Penta wobbling, down in the corner as the ads arrived.
Nice fast start. All six looking good.
And Penta running wild as we returned. Tag to Bandido, flapjacked to the corner by Bill before the big man tagged out. All three heels in to work over Bandido after knocking the Bros off the apron. Page bagged two with his drag-up powerslam.
Bandido enziguri’d his way free, Fenix in, hurracanrana for Lee, thrust kick for Page, caught in a chokeslam, his brother freed him via another thrust kick, the Bros hit uno, dos, tres to send Bill outside before Penta flipped Bandido to soar over the top onto Bill and Moriarty.
While Penta got nearly three with Made in Penta on Page.
Another wild flurry as the pace rocketed: Penta thrust kick, Rey rope-walk punt, thrust kicks to Bill from the Bros, Bandido missile dropkick, Moriarty in to send Penta to the apron, Fenix hit him with a cutter, the Bros hit Fear Factor on the apron to Moriarty, Page got the boots up on a Bandido dive from the top and was readying Ego’s Edge.
When the Hardys hit the ramp to ruin a very good match. Blathering on the microphone long enough for Bandido to bag the win via 21-plex on a distracted Page. The only way the youngster can win apparently.
This thing with the Hardys and Ethan is just so stale. At least it gets Page on tv I guess.
Anyway, fantastic opener. Easily better than anything on Dynamite sans Cassidy/Swerve.
Winner: Bandido & Lucha Brothers
More QTV. Collision’s coming up and QT wanted ideas. Harley put across her breasts. Not joking. They then all suggested things that’d already been done. Including ‘making an announcement’. They settled on just allowing Hobbs to show what Collision would be all about next.
At least this was self-effacing r/t throwing digs at people on the internet who’ve annoyed the company.
Powerhouse Hobbs vs Caleb Crush
Backstory: None
Excalibur said Hobbs had ‘a new sense of purpose’. Is it to try and appear on tv?
Hobbs audibly yelled ‘See ya!’ before drilling Crush with a Spinebuster in about a minute.
Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs
Renee with Wardlow and Arn Anderson. For an update on Brock. Anderson said he’d ‘be fine’. That attack didn’t bother Arn. But the Father’s Day reference Christian and Luchasaurus made did. Wardlow said disrespecting he and Arn comes at a cost, listing all the people he’s beaten.
But before that, Wardlow has an open challenge match with Jake Hager Wednesday. Sigh. Are they actively trying to ruin the prestige of a title match? Does anyone want to see that? They seem to have learned nothing from Wardlow’s first title run.
The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn vs Spanish Announce Project
Backstory: None
Caster buttered up the crowd by referring to Nikola Jokic and said the SAP stood for ‘small ass penises’. Despite a lack of purpose, Acclaimed remain incredibly popular with crowds.
Bowens and Angelico got us going. The former kept offering Angelico a ‘scissor’ then withdrawing his hand at the last second. Until Angelico snapped him with a jab. But ate a dropkick after a drop-down.
Serpentico in, Caster too, Acclaimed crushed the heel in the corner, Caster hit an atomic drop then Manhattan drop, targeting that ‘small ass penis’. Luther in, Gunn quickly dumped him outside. Acclaimed hit Scissor Me Timbers to Angelico. Serpentico came in and tried to interrupt a ‘Scissor Party’ until Gunn knocked him cold.
Excalibur asked us not to go anywhere. As Gunn and Luther brawled. Have to keep those viewers hooked through the break folks.
Caster tagged Gunn, who ran through all three heels single-handed. Until being dropped via enziguri for two. Bowens in, he smacked Angelico via thrust kick, hit a double team Samoan drop to Serpentico; Arrival and Mic Drop to Luther.
Same old thang with the Acclaimed. They come out and do their spiel, sell for a bit, then hit the Arrival and the Mic Drop.
Winner: The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn
A video package recapped all the major happenings from Dynamite. A good move. They’ll need more of this once Collision starts.

Renee brought Company Killers Inc to the ramp. Karen Jarrett grabbed the mic to call Aubrey Edwards out. Mark Briscoe’s music played as he accompanied Aubrey.
Who was really good on the mic: AEW won’t sanction a match since she’s a ref and ‘You (Karen) sure as hell aren’t a wrestler’. But if she catches Karen anywhere outside the ring, ‘I’m gonna kick your ass!’.
Mark Briscoe corrected Edwards. AEW won’t sanction a one-on-one but will sanction a mixed trios match – He, Aubrey & his Dad vs Jarrett, Karen & Jay Lethal.
The crowd were pretty non-plussed for everything here outside of Aubrey’s mic work.
Skye Blue vs Mercedes Martinez vs Nyla Rose vs Britt Baker
Backstory: None
Hikaru Shida had Britt’s back here. Marina Shafir accompanied Nyla.
Blue looked good early, clearing the ring, hitting a hurracanrana to Mercedes then wrestling to a stalemate with Baker. As Toni and Ruby were shown watching backstage.
Marina Shafir simply entered right in front of the ref to put Martinez in a choke, Shida whacked her backstage with a kendo stick. Of course, it’s ‘anything goes’ since it’s a four-way. Might be my least favorite AEW feature. Y’know, outside Jeff Jarrett.
Break.
Nyla had Mercedes dangling from the middle rope and was setting-up up-top when Britt shoved off the top – nasty landing as she spilled to the floor via the apron. Mercedes hit Blue in the corner, Baker got a one-count after a slingblade to Martinez. She and Skye slugged it out in the middle until Blue hit a thrust kick then her low enziguri.
The crowd almost silent.
As Britt blocked a suplex into a rollup on Martinez for two, then snagged Lockjaw, Rose broke it up only to be hit with a double superkick by the faces, Baker took Blue out with another, was snatched into a chokeslam as Rose bagged two – Mercedes breaking up the pin.
Then looking for a powerbomb on Rose, settling instead for a kneestrike and backdrop-suplex, Britt took advantage with a curb stomp but was bundled outside by Martinez, though she dragged the vet outside after her.
And Blue took advantage to hit Code Blue. Barely fighting back tears as she celebrated. A woman in the crowd looked absolutely shocked since Britt was the only competitor the crowd cared about.
Toni Storm painted an ‘L’ on the monitor she was watching. Pretty much yeah.
Booking continues to be really poor. Simply dubbing something a ‘title match’ adds zero to it. In fact, all it does is guarantee the champion winning when it’s against opponents with the build of Blue and Hager.
The second episode of season four of Dark Side of the Ring, with Magnum TA as the subject, drew 155,000 viewers, up 8,000 viewers from the season premiere. The show drew a 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 0.01 from last week and was #104 on the top 150 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
There seems to have been a change for tonight’s Smackdown as while originally it was advertised that Jey Uso had to select which side is he on, the new Smackdown preview now suggests that we will now get The Usos reaction following their fallout with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
There is no mention of Jey answering the ultimatum and Roman Reigns is not advertised to appear on the show tonight.
“This Friday, The Usos are set to return to SmackDown. How will Jimmy and Jey react to their own brother siding with Reigns against them? What words will they have for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion?” states the preview.
Meanwhile four more Money In The Bank qualifying matches will take place on the broadcast.
Michin battles Bayley and Shotzi takes on Iyo Sky in the two women matches while Santos Escobar battles Mustafa Ali and Butch goes one-on-one with Baron Corbin in the other two matches.
Impact drew 137,000 viewers on AXS TV this week, up 11,000 viewers from last week’s broadcast. The show did a 0.02 rating in 18-49, down 0.01 from the prior week. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
Collision will be airing in Canada and the United Kingdom, with TSN and ITV4 picking up the show.
In Canada, it will stream live every week on TSN+ but will not air on regular television as of yet. Dynamite remains the only AEW show to air in the country as not even Rampage is on TV.
Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, the show will air on regular TV on ITV4 but the show is slated to air on a few days delay, with the premiere episode airing on Wednesday, June 21 at 9PM local time. Collision will be shown every Wednesday thereafter.
None of the AEW shows air live on ITV in the UK, with Dynamite airing on Fridays and Rampage on Tuesdays.
Hulk Hogan paid tribute to The Iron Sheik, who passed away at the age of 81 two days ago.
While Hogan was often the butt of jokes on Sheik’s Twitter with the trademark “F*CK THE HULK HOGAN” and similar rude, yet hilarious tweets, the two were great friends in real life.
“The wrestling world has lost a true legend, and Sheikh’s contributions to our industry will never be forgotten. I’ll always cherish the battles we had in the ring. Our matches were intense, and our rivalry was legendary. We shared a bond that only fellow wrestlers can understand,” Hogan wrote.
Hogan defeated Sheik for the WWF title in January 1984 at Madison Square Garden and kickstarted what came to be known as Hulkamania. The two later feuded in the early 90s as Hogan went after Sgt Slaughter and Sheik joined in as Colonel Mustafa.
“Iron Sheik’s unique charisma, undeniable talent, and unforgettable personality made him an unforgettable figure in the hearts of wrestling fans worldwide. His legacy will continue to inspire generations of wrestlers to come,” Hogan added.
After Sheik retired, he continued to insult Hogan in the media, especially on the Howard Stern show, making for some hilarious moments. One time, Hogan was in studio and the production called Sheik live and the two went at it, with Sheik cutting a promo and calling Hogan a jabroni and many other adjectives…but then said he would forgive Hulk.
“Thank you, I forgive you too Sheik, I love you,” Hogan said. “I love you too man,” Sheik responded as the crew of Howard Stern burst out laughing at Sheik’s instant turn.
Hogan ended his tribute to Sheik writing, “Rest in peace, Iron Sheik. You will always be remembered as a true warrior of the ring.”
