If you subscribe to Peacock to watch WWE programming, get ready for a price increase.
The company announced that starting on Wednesday, July 23, new subscribers will start paying $10.99 a month for the ad-supported plan, an increase of $3. The ad-free tier will go to $16.99, which is a 20% increase.
Exiting subscribers will get a month of grace and the new rate will take effect on August 22.
For those who opt for yearly payments, a 12-month subscription with ads will cost $109.99 while the one without ads will be $169.99 which translates to around $9 and $14 per month. Those on an annual plan will keep their current pricing until they’re up for renewal.
The new prices mean that Peacock has now one of the most expensive streaming services in the United States and it’s the biggest price jump for the platform since its inception.
Peacock airs all the WWE premium live events and select number of programming from the vast WWE video library in the U.S. It also live streams Saturday Night’s Main Event. Their contract ends in Q1 2026.
Friday Night Smackdown on Netflix, which streams on the service for international markets and not in the United States, is averaging 844,000 views per episode.
The January 10, April 4, and April 25 episodes of Smackdown remain the only one to top the 1 million figure according to Netflix, with quite several of episodes hitting 900,000 as well.
In the United States, Smackdown airs on USA Network and averages around 1.4 million viewers so far in 2025.
NXT, which also airs on Netflix internationally, is much less popular and the show has been averaging around 196,000 viewers so far in 2025.
The New Year’s Evil episode, which was the first one on Netflix is the only one to hit 500,000 while Roadblock in March drew 300,000. All the others are in the 100,000-200,000 range.
In the United States, NXT airs on The CW Network and has 708,000 average viewers so far.
The figures for each episode were released in the Netflix What We Watch biannual report this weekend.
Kiana James returned to action last night prior to Smackdown and was part of the Main Event tapings in a match against Michin which will air on the upcoming episode of the show.
James has been out for 13 months and last wrestled on the June 17, 2024 episode of Raw in a Money in the Bank qualifying match.
The former NXT star was sidelined with a leg injury which required surgery, hence the long time out.
On Smackdown, James was seen briefly in the background during a backstage promo between Charlotte flair and Alexa Bliss.
For the first time since moving to Netflix, the company has released WWE viewing totals for almost each episode or premium live event till June 2025 as part of their What We Watch chart which listed a total of 7,514 shows.
Premium live events on Netflix do not air on the streaming service in the United States, so the data provided is for international markets. The PLEs in the U.S. air on Peacock and those numbers are kept confidential.
The Royal Rumble, the first PLE on Netflix, remains the most-watched with 3 million views and 13.3 million hours of watch time.
The Elimination Chamber from Toronto had 1.9 million views and 6.7 million viewing hours.
WrestleMania 41 Sunday is currently in second place with 2.8 million views and 10.2 million viewing hours while WrestleMania 41 Saturday followed with 2.4 million views and 9.6 million viewing hours.
Backlash in May had 1.5 million view and 4 million viewing hours.
Money In The Bank had 1.6 million views and 5.2 million viewing hours.
Night of Champions from Riyadh was the least-watched PLE so far with just 1 million views and 2.8 million viewing hours.
For NXT, Vengeance Day had 200,000 views and 500,000 viewing hours. Stand & Deliver had the same 200,000 views and 600,000 viewing hours, and Battleground had 200,000 views and 400,000 viewing hours.
16-time world champion Ric Flair canceled his scheduled appearance at the ATL Comic Convention this weekend due to health issues.
“I am not going to be at the ATL Comic Convention tomorrow because of personal and health related issues,” Flair wrote in a post on social media yesterday. “Thank you so much for understanding & for all the appreciation!”
Flair added that he looked forward to seeing his fans at a future signing.
“The Nature Boy” was diagnosed with skin cancer for the second time in three years in May and started undergoing treatment in June. He had already canceled one appearance in Mississippi in June due to his health.
Cousins Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu will be wrestling for the WWE United States title inside a steel cage match at SummerSlam, with the stipulation added following a chaotic show-long angle on Smackdown last night.
There was a car accident at the beginning of the show involving the members of MFT – Solo’s crew – with police focusing their investigation on Jacob Fatu.
During an in-ring segment with Solo and the rest of his group, Solo tried to put the blame squarely on Fatu, telling the crowd that once you’re a criminal, you’re always a criminal.
But things took a turn when all of a sudden, Fatu was seen coming back to the arena and ready to fight. He had the assist of his cousin Jimmy Uso, who ambushed MFT and the two went to town. Following some more brawling, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, who was subbing for Nick Aldis, came out and announced that their match at SummerSlam will be inside a steel cage….and then police came out to arrest Solo Sikoa, who was accused of framing Jacob at the beginning of the show.
In the world of peptide-based wellness and skincare solutions, Melanotan 2 has emerged as one of the most discussed and researched compounds. Known for its tanning effects and potential physiological benefits, Melanotan 2 has captured the interest of researchers, biohackers, and health enthusiasts alike. But when it comes to sourcing this compound safely and reliably, not all suppliers are created equal. This is where Peptide, a GMP peptide manufacturer, distinguishes itself.
This article explores the benefits, mechanisms, and latest research around Melanotan 2 and why Peptide’s GMP-certified environment sets a benchmark for quality and trust.
What Is Melanotan 2?
Melanotan 2 is a synthetic version of the natural alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH) that also plays a role in pigmentation and other biological processes. While developed at first for skin issues and erectile dysfunction, Melanotan 2 has gained a larger user base for its tanning and appetite suppression benefits.
Key Mechanisms of Action
Melanotan 2 interacts with melanocortin receptors, which include MC1R, which in turn stimulates melanogenesis (tanning), and MC4R, which is related to sexual arousal and appetite regulation. It is a multiuse peptide, which is of interest to both the cosmetic and medical fields.
The Benefits of Melanotan 2
Reportedly, Melanotan 2 is a remedy that produces:
Increased Skin Pigmentation
Stimulates melanin production in the skin.
Achieves a more intense and even tan with less UV exposure.
May lower the risk of sunburn in fair-skinned people.
Weight Loss & Appetite Control
Some users report having reduced appetite, which in turn may aid in weight loss.
Acts in energy homeostasis, which includes the melanocortin pathway.
Improved Libido
Research reports that MC4R activation may improve sex drive, particularly in males.
Also note that, as per my training, I am not very specific on “may” into strong claims. If those precise words’ use is important, then that should be put back.
Photoprotection
Melanin levels increase to act as a natural protection against harmful UV rays.
In patients with photodermatoses or related conditions.
Latest Research on Melanotan 2
In recent years we have seen what research has been done on Melanotan 2. In the British Journal of Dermatology, a clinical review reported that the peptide causes a great increase in skin pigmentation with a reduced number of UV exposures.
Presently, research is into the use of it in fields that include:
Sexual dysfunction
Skin cancer prevention
Obesity control
Although it is a promising product, most experts stress the value of using Melanotan 2 produced under GMP conditions, which in turn will reduce the issue of contamination and dosage inconsistency.

The WWE Championship match at SummerSlam has been turned into a street fight following some “complications” during the contract signing segment which closed Smackdown last night.
In the main event segment of Smackdown, John Cena informed Cody Rhodes that he would not be at SummerSlam because of filming obligations and offered to wrestle in either Paris or Perth. Rhodes had none of it though and as the two brawled their way around, Rhodes put Cena through a table, signed the contract, and then grabbed Cena’s hand and signed Cena’s as well.
The challenger then informed the champ that at SummerSlam, it won’t be just a regular match, but the two will go head-to-head in a street fight.
There are rumors of a double turn happening at SummerSlam, which would make things even more interesting as Cody has not been a heel since his return to WWE and is one of the biggest merchandise movers of the company.
Variety is carrying an article quoting the Netflix biannual engagement report, which covers 99% of the viewing of what Netflix subscribers consumed in the first six months of the year.
The report states that WWE programming, which premiered on the giant streaming service in January, generated more than 280 million viewing hours across all its events. This includes Monday Night Raw, which is the only live WWE show that airs on Netflix in the United States.
The Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz movie Back In Action was the most-viewed movie in the first six months while the series Adolescence topped the TV chart.
Netflix measures engagement by views, which it calculates by total hours viewed divided by runtime.
Raw has been in the weekly top 10 Netflix global chart every week since it started in January.
Former WCW Superstar Buff Bagwell revealed in an interview for Maven’s YouTube channel that he underwent leg amputation.
The amputation comes following an August 2020 car accident where his kneecap was caved in and never fully recovered despite several surgeries throughout the years.
In the 26-minute video, cameras followed Bagwell as he went to hospital to prepare for the life-changing surgery.
After surgery, Maven and his cameras visited Bagwell at the hospital again where his leg was covered with sheets, until he removed them to reveal his right leg completely amputated from his upper thigh.
“It’s not there. And I can feel my calf. I can feel my ankle,” Bagwell told Maven. Maven tried to “grab” his leg and tap on it, with Bagwell telling him that he can almost feel it.
Despite this huge setback, the 55-year-old hopes that one day he can get back in the ring, run the ropes, and have a match.
“It’ll show that I came out of the darkness with this thing and I turned it around all the way to the back in the ring as Buff Bagwell,” he said.
Although it started slow, this Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view will be the biggest audience at a TNA Wrestling event in over a decade and it is set to be the largest crowd of any TNA event in the United States.
Over 1,000 extra tickets have been sold since the rumors – and now confirmation – of AJ Styles appearing at the event. According to @WrestleTix, Slammiversary is at over 5,500 tickets and more sections have been opened, with the UBS Arena currently configured for 6,200 seats.
The UBS Arena is a large arena which seats over 16,000 fans but for the purpose of this event, things will be scaled down and the upper decks won’t be used at all.
The company is expecting strong sales in the final two days with the hopes of even adding more sections by the time Sunday comes around.
A six-man tag team match with a couple of TNA debuts will take place at Slammiversary this Sunday.
Real 1, the artist formerly known as Enzo Amore, Josh Bishop, and Zilla Fatu, the son of former WWE Superstar Umaga, will be teaming up to take on Steve Maclin, Jake Something, and Mance Warner.
The match will be part of the Countdown to Slammiversary which airs free on YouTube and TNA+.
Real 1, Bishop, and Fatu will be representing Fourth Rope, the indie promotion which has been “buying” promo ads on Impact and on TNA’s social media for the past two weeks.
Three matches have been announced for tonight’s Smackdown live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, where another capacity crowd is expected.
A number one contender’s match for the WWE Tag Team titles will take place and features Fraxiom vs Motor City Machine Guns vs DIY vs Andrade and Rey Fenix with the winners getting next in line against The Wyatt Sicks. Also tonight, Charlotte Flair takes on Raquel Rodriguez and Stephanie Vaquer battles Alba Fyre.
Plus, WWE champion John Cena and his SummerSlam opponent Cody Rhodes will both be in the house for the contract signing.
The post-All In episode of Dynamite from Chicago drew 588,000 viewers, down 49,000 viewers from the previous week. The show had a 0.15 rating in 18-49, down 0.01 from the last episode and was #2 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. The numbers don’t include viewers from HBO Max. TNA Slammiversary will indeed be phenomenal as TNA announced last night that AJ Styles will be appearing at the pay-per-view this Sunday.
The ending of Impact saw a vignette with an old TNA box sitting in the middle of a dark workshop. The box then opens and a big glow is seen with old footage of AJ Styles wrestling in TNA.
The camera then pans to show the content of the box, which was Styles’ old, dusty, P1 vest. Someone then blows the dust off the vest and the Slammiversary logo is then displayed.
TNA President Carlos Silva hinted an AJ Styles appearance earlier this week, saying this weekend’s show is set to be phenomenal.
It’s not clear in what capacity Styles will be in at the show.
Styles is one of the most decorated TNA stars and last wrestled for the company in 2013.
AEW has confirmed the date for next year’s All In pay-per-view which is returning to London’s Wembley Stadium.
The show will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026 which is a bank holiday weekend in the United Kingdom.
While it was known that All In was headed back overseas, the date was never revealed until now.
AEW President Tony Khan said that they couldn’t do the show in Wembley this year as there was a concert by Coldplay booked on the same day they wanted.
Last year’s All In drew just over 50,000 fans while this year’s show had around 30,000, although the exact number was never published by AEW.
On today’s episode of SiriusXM’s The Nikki and Brie Show, Nikki is fresh off her return to the ring at WWE Evolution and Monday Night RAW and gives a raw and real look behind the scenes of a weekend she’ll never forget. Nikki opens up about the nerves she felt, her inability to prepare, showing grit and grace, and clapping back at her critics.
Nikki Garcia on her return to the ring at Monday Night RAW (19:57-22:30)
Brie Garcia: When you texted me that you were having a match on RAW, I’m like, “Wait, what?” ‘cause you know, usually when people who have been out for six years, or legends come back, there’s usually a build up to a singles match, so when you texted me you’re having a match on RAW, I’ll admit, I was so nervous for you, ‘cause I’m like, “Wait, there’s no build up?”
Nikki Garcia: Well, I just think they usually go if they haven’t had their match, what we all know is they’re at the PC all week training every day for that one moment, right? When I got hit with that, I was like, “Wait, what?” and I was like, “Wait, are you sure? How long?” I just was like, “Oh my gosh,” and you know me, I don’t say no to opportunities. I always just think of like, “Well, how can I make this work out the best?” But yeah, no prep. I wanted to try and get in the ring Sunday morning and then it was all taken, all full, so then I asked about like Monday early, it didn’t, because of having the two back to back pay-per-views, didn’t get built to like 1:30 but I was, I feel like it’s so different now and I actually couldn’t believe how composed I was from how I would be, but it’s really weird, Brie. All the really hardcore work you and I have done, especially in the past few years, like what a good four years or five maybe?
Brie Garcia: You’re talking about like life coach, therapy type of work? Yeah.
Nikki Garcia: Life coach, breath work, meditation, giving yourself grace, all the things. It’s weird that I, like it was even like this in Battle Royale. Nerves, but not like how I have felt in the past where it just felt uncontrollable, it overtakes. I just was able to get myself in a place like, “You’re gonna have fun. You’re nervous, but just be confident.” I’m gonna also say training up the dungeon helps you with that. Nattie has trained me in a way where she’s like, “It doesn’t matter what you do, you have confidence, you deliver.” She’s taught me how to just do even the simplest things, but when you have confidence behind it, like how big it looks.
Nikki Garcia on self-criticism during match & Twitter altercation with critic (26:15-29:02)
Brie Garcia: I will admit, like at home watching, like, was it clean? No, it wasn’t clean. Was it a little sloppy? Yes. I could tell by your face though, when you won, I go, “Oh, shit. Her finish didn’t go how she wanted it to,” because you were selling that.
Nikki Garcia: I know. Well, it’s because, I know, but you know me, I put a lot of pressure on myself and when you’re having a match live, and this is in any sport, you are opening up for judgment, critique and all the things and I just wanted this first one to set a certain standard. I didn’t want there to be any sloppiness or anything missed, because I know how hard then the critique will follow me. “O.C., and this and that,” so instantly when that happened, it’s sad, but that’s immediately what I felt was like, “I hope this doesn’t bite me in the ass,” and what’s crazy is I’ve never done that ever and it was funny because I went after someone on Twitter, and then they ended up deleting it because they knew I was right. Chelsea had wrote to me, “You can look, but you can’t touch,” and then I wrote back, “I looked, I touched and I won. Besos,” so then someone wrote, “No, you looked, you botched, and then won,” and so this is what I said. “All from the IWC of haters, let me educate. Botched, of a task carried out badly or carelessly, but what you meant to say is, you looked, you snatched on your OG finisher that broke your neck, you protected yourself, you won. Yay, we learned something new today. Hashtag haters gonna hate, Bellas gonna ball.”
Brie Garcia: Love that.
Nikki Garcia: Because, you know, we throw around that word a lot in our industry, botched, and these are people who write that, are non-athletic people who’ve never played a sport, let alone a professional sport, so you have to be careful using the word botched. Botched is when someone does something and they’re careless and that ends up creating something. In my situation, I went up for something that broke my neck, so I either could have in that moment hit it and re-injured myself or worse, or I could have been like, “I’m gonna be embarrassed. I’m gonna get something from this, but I’m gonna set her down and I’m gonna try to now, she’s either gonna hit me with something or I’m gonna hit her with something. I’m gonna try to get my finisher back on.” Right? So, it’s not a botch. It’s actually being smart.
The Nikki & Brie Show hosted by Nikki & Brie Garcia is available anytime on the SiriusXM app. New episodes every Monday and Thursday. Listen to the full episode here.
