WWE logo

WWE President Nick Khan told SportsBusiness.com that Italy will be hosting a premium live event next year to coincide with the television rights moving to Netflix Italy.

While Italy has hosted a few televised events such as Raw and Smackdown, it will be the first PLE in the country.

Khan put over WWE’s international fan base, saying that attendance and viewership for the international PLEs have been significant.

WWE currently airs on Discovery+ and DMAX in Italy, the station ironically owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, the right holders of AEW television in the United States.

Khan did not announce any location, arena, or which show will take place in Italy.

What is Kratom Tea? Professor Whyte’s tips to understand it better

When people come across the term kratom tea, they often wonder what it actually means and how it differs from other available forms. With so much information available, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or unsure about where to start. That’s where Professor Whyte’s tips come in—offering a straightforward way to break things down and understand the tea without unnecessary confusion. In this blog, we’ll explore what is kratom tea, how it’s typically prepared, and the key points Professor Whyte highlights to help you see it more clearly.

Professor Whyte’s Tips To Understand Kratom Tea Better

Learn what kratom tea actually is

Professor Whyte’s tip to learn what kratom tea actually is encourages starting with the basics before diving into details. At its core, the tea is simply a preparation made by brewing the powder or leaves in hot water, much like traditional teas.

This form has gained attention because it offers a distinct way of experiencing kratom compared to capsules or powders taken directly. By understanding what the tea truly represents, you build a clearer foundation for exploring how it’s prepared, consumed, and compared with other available forms.

Understand how it is typically prepared

Professor Whyte’s tip for understanding how kratom tea is typically prepared emphasizes the straightforward process behind it. Most often, the powder or crushed leaves are steeped in hot water, allowing the mixture to develop into a drinkable form.

Some people may add flavorings like honey, lemon, or herbs to adjust the taste, while others prefer it plain. Knowing the usual steps of preparation helps you understand why the tea stands apart from capsules or raw powders, offering a distinct experience shaped by both method and presentation.

Notice the difference between loose powder and tea bags

Professor Whyte’s tip to notice the difference between loose powder and tea bags highlights the variety of ways kratom tea can be enjoyed. Loose powder offers flexibility in preparation, allowing you to adjust the strength and amount to your liking, but it may require additional steps, such as straining.

Tea bags, on the other hand, provide convenience and consistency, making them quicker and easier to prepare. By recognizing these differences, you can decide which format of the tea better suits your routine and preferences, whether you value control or simplicity.

Pay attention to flavor and taste variations

Professor Whyte’s tip to pay attention to flavor and taste variations points out that kratom tea does not have a one-size-fits-all profile. Depending on how it’s prepared, the strength of the brew, and any added ingredients like citrus or sweeteners, the taste can range from earthy and bold to smoother and more balanced.

These variations can significantly impact how enjoyable the tea feels to you. By noticing the flavor differences, you can experiment with preparation methods or additions that make the tea better match your personal taste preferences.

Compare the tea to other common forms

Professor Whyte’s tip to compare kratom tea to other common forms is about recognizing how this preparation stands apart from alternatives like capsules or raw powder. While capsules offer convenience and powders allow for flexible use, tea introduces an element of ritual and preparation that makes the experience feel distinct.

It can also involve added steps, such as brewing and flavoring, that aren’t part of other forms. By comparing kratom tea with these options, you gain a clearer sense of where it fits into your routine and whether it matches your preferences.

Check how serving sizes are usually measured

Professor Whyte’s tip to check how serving sizes are usually measured stresses the importance of understanding portion details when it comes to kratom tea. Unlike pre-measured capsules, tea preparation often involves scooping loose powder or using tea bags, which can vary in strength depending on the amount used.

Paying attention to how serving sizes are indicated—whether on packaging or through measuring tools—helps you prepare the tea with more consistency. This awareness makes it easier to manage your brewing process and ensures a more predictable experience each time.

Observe the role of temperature in preparation

Professor Whyte’s tip to observe the role of temperature in preparation highlights how an often-overlooked detail can influence the overall tea-making process. Using water that is too hot may affect the flavor, while cooler water may not bring out the same richness in the brew.

Many people experiment with different temperature levels to find a balance that suits their taste. By noticing how temperature impacts the final result, you can fine-tune your kratom tea preparation to create a more enjoyable and consistent experience.

Explore different ways people customize their tea

Professor Whyte’s tip to explore different ways people customize their tea highlights the flexibility that comes with preparing kratom tea. Many choose to adjust the flavor by adding ingredients like honey, lemon, or ginger, while others may experiment with blending it alongside herbal teas for a unique taste.

Some even play with preparation methods—making stronger brews, lighter infusions, or chilled versions. By exploring these customization options, you can discover variations that make kratom tea feel more personal, enjoyable, and suited to your own preferences.

Align your choice of tea with personal preferences

Professor Whyte’s tip to align your choice of tea with personal preferences reminds us that the best version of kratom tea is the one that feels right for you. Some may enjoy the hands-on process of brewing loose powder, while others prefer the simplicity of ready-to-use tea bags.

Flavor adjustments, serving sizes, and even the time of day you choose to prepare it can all play a role in shaping your experience. By focusing on what matches your lifestyle and taste, you ensure that your kratom tea routine feels enjoyable, practical, and uniquely your own.

Bottom Line

Understanding kratom tea becomes much simpler when you follow Professor Whyte’s tips. From learning what the tea actually is and how it’s typically prepared, to noticing differences in form, flavor, serving size, and temperature, each detail helps build a clearer picture. Exploring customization options and aligning the tea with your personal preferences ensures that your approach feels both practical and enjoyable. By keeping these pointers in mind, you can navigate the world of the tea with confidence and make choices that suit your routine and taste.

ESPN execs talk WWE deal and Wrestlepalooza in media call

WWE ESPN

Ahead of Wrestlepalooza, ESPN Programming and Acquisitions Lead Matt Kenny and ESPN Senior Vice President JT Lasker took questions from the press to discuss their new WWE deal.

Asked about Wrestlepalooza falling on the same date as All Out and counter programming AEW, Kenny said that several dates were already booked beforehand and they have to deal with not just WWE, but other sports. They wanted to have a marquee WWE event this month to coincide with the launch of the ESPN DTC app so it had less to do wrestling competition but more with timing of the launch of the app.

The two confirmed that WWE will retain creative control of everything they will produce and they are just distributors for the show. On the other hand, ESPN will retain full control of what their journalists cover, even with WWE’s competition, calling it “separation of church and state.”

Asked about simulcasts, they said ESPN is contractually obligated to air a minimum number of WWE PLEs on linear television and they will have to strike a balance in what they will offer and how they will use their influence when it comes to simulcasts.

As for the WWE video library moving to ESPN in the future, Kenny said that he cannot talk about that and that’s a question that they would have to ask WWE.

“The rights that we have are for the Premium Live Events and those will be called bankable VOD, so as the events take place on our platforms, we’ll be able to offer those events on demand,” he said. “Our PLE library will build over time. But in terms of the broader library, I would direct your question to the WWE to handle.”

Stephanie Vaquer talks NXT run, Devil’s Kiss move, Booker T, and more

Stephanie Vaquer sat down with Chris Van Vliet in Las Vegas, Nevada to discuss her incredible first year in WWE, winning the NXT Women’s and Women’s North American Championships to become a double champion, her quick call up to the main roster, Booker T’s reaction to her Devil’s Kiss move, the meaning behind her horns and face paint, her Clash in Paris title match being canceled, facing IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s World Championship, future dream matches, and more!

On her success in NXT:

“It’s a really nice experience. Because when WWE called me, they asked me if I want to go main roster or NXT. And I say, main roster. But after I think a lot, I say, okay, maybe I know I need to learn how everything works here. So after I say no, I go to NXT, and many people say, ‘What are you doing? You’re crazy.’ And I say no, because I’m in no rush. I like to do things step by step, no rush, and I need to learn English. I need to learn the style. I need to learn that WWE style, how they train in the PC, different training. So I started in NXT slow, take my time and try to learn every day. But I really enjoy NXT because it’s like family. I really miss the people there and I had the NXT title and the NXT North American Title at the same time, in the best women’s division. So now I’m so happy. I’m so happy. Make history with my first title in WWE, so it’s the beginning of the big dream.”

Did you think it would happen so quickly?

“No, I think because before WWE always take a long time to take a title. But I know it takes more hard work. But before WWE, every company, I take the more important title before WWE. So when I come to WWE, I say, okay, the beginning, I’m here, but now I will be champion. So the first step is the NXT Championship, and after, yeah, double champ.”

On nearly losing her NXT theme song:

“I love my music. I remember when I went to Raw, they said, change my music. And I said, please [don’t change it]. I talked with Shawn Michaels and said, ‘Shawn, please, I love my music. I don’t want to change.’ And he was like, ‘Okay, let me see what we can do.’ And, yeah, I think people love the music too.”

On Booker T’s reaction to The Devil’s Kiss:

“I love Booker T. I miss Booker T on Raw. Because he really made people feel my move. I love that.”

On pointing to Booker before doing the move in NXT:

“In my last title match in NXT, I saw Booker and was like, this is for you.”

On future dream matches:

“One-on-one with Asuka. I really want it because it’s not been one-on-one. Asuka or Rhea, Mami versus Mamasita.”

On her match with Naomi being cancelled:

“Yeah, everything changed about that. So I’m sad for the match, I’m so happy for Naomi. But everything I think is better because I have more time for training, focused on the next match with IYO. Amazing. She’s amazing. So versus IYO and ESPN, big show with WWE Wrestlepalooza. So it’s like, amazing. It’s really, really amazing. Sometimes everything changes for one reason. It’s my dad’s birthday, and he come for first time to watch my match live. So everything is perfect.”

TNA stars voice frustration over NXT’s handling of TNA title, invasion teased

An angle seems to be setting up online as several TNA stars voiced their frustration on how NXT is treating the TNA title following last night’s announcement of the title vs title match set up for next week’s broadcast.

Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander, Steph De Lander, Eddie Edwards, Mike Santana, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella, ring announcer McKenzie Mitchell, and several others all wrote on X that it’s time for a change and time to bring the TNA back home.

Their words seem to indicate some sort of an “invasion” angle, with the main TNA X account re-posting most of the comments.

Trick Williams has been TNA champion for the past 115 days, beating Joe Hendry at NXT Battleground. Jacy Jayne, the current NXT Women’s champion, was also the TNA Knockouts champion, although for just 35 days, after she beat Masha Slamovich at Slammiversary in a winner-takes-all match. She was defeated by Ash by Elegance at NXT Heatwave last month.

Shayna Baszler, who no longer works with WWE, made a surprise appearance backstage to knock some sense into Sol Ruca and Zaria to patch up their differences. Just seconds before, Candice LeRae was also involved due to the Speed tournament.

The Miz, who is not synonymous with Full Sail, helped Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes defeat Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano in a tag match. Miz and Hayes have a partnership on Smackdown, hence the helping hand.

In backstage segments, Damian Priest, the former NXT North American champion, gave a pep talk to Tavion Heights while former NXT champion Sami Zayn did the same to Je’Von Evans. Former WWE Tag Team champion Montez Ford had an encounter with the current NXT Tag Team champions, DarkState, and former NXT champion Bobby Roode was involved in a backstage segment with Charlie Dempsey, Wren Sinclair, and TNA’s Joe Hendry.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, both NXT alumni were also involved, defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles against Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley.

Tyler Breeze, the man known as Prince Pretty, had his first NXT match since 2021 but fell short in winning the NXT North American title after he was defeated by current champion Ethan Page.

And last but not least, three former NXT Women’s champions – Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Lyra Valkyria – returned to their old stomping grounds to battle Fatal Influence in the main event of the show.

It was then that Waller suggested that both should face each other next week and the winner then defends the NXT title against Ricky Saints at No Mercy.

The match was officially signed at the end of the show and will headline next week’s episode of NXT which is back at the Performance Center.
