The WWE Network launched today in the United States but other countries were left out, with some getting the service in late 2014 or early 2015, but no worldwide roll-out expected in the near future for overseas customers.
WWE television rights in different countries prevent WWE from just bulldozing its way through with the Network in other territories, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t get the service if you’re not living in the United States. Any trustworthy VPN that works well with your system is enough to do the trick. While opting for a VPN software, it is important to ensure that it has no latent malicious intent which is why a little bit of research on the subject is important. So if you are looking for answers to the question What are the best Kodi VPNs of 2019? Incognitoline.net has the answer.
Please read the following guide in full before you start signing up for any services.
Note that the below is just a guide and we take no responsibility over any of the services mentioned. They are purely suggestions and you are welcome to search for different services.
There are three major things you need if you’re not a U.S. resident.
GETTING YOUR U.S. ADDRESS
The first thing needed is an address in the United States. Without it, you will not be able to continue. Only U.S. addresses are accepted when you are signing up. Getting a U.S. address is easier than one might think. There are a lot of different services that offer you a mail forwarding address.
UPDATE: Putting in any random U.S. address will work (for now) so it saves you the hassle of going through sign-ups for any of the mail forwarding services. Skip this part and go to the next section!
Some companies which offer this service are shipito.com, usa2me.com, usabox.com, myus.com. and reship.com among others. Shipito.com for example has a free service unless you actually ship items to your account although they do require an $8.50 one-time fee deposit. In this case, everything is virtual so you will not be doing actual shipping, but just using the address they provide you. They will assign you with an address once you sign up and verify your identity. HopShopGo.com will also provide you with a free address and seems to be the easiest option.
GETTING YOUR U.S. PHONE NUMBER
It has been confirmed that inputting any 10 digit number will work so you don’t actually have to buy a phone number. Otherwise you can use the website Fakenumber.org to generate a fake U.S. number so you do not by coincidence put someone’s real number when signing up.
GETTING YOUR U.S. VPN SERVICE
The WWE Network requires a U.S. IP address to see the live shows and archives. Trying to watch anything with no U.S. IP will give you an error that the Network is not available in your location or it says that media is not available. This is the most important part of the whole guide, without the VPN, you can’t watch anything.
A VPN/DNS service will enable you to watch everything, putting you behind a U.S. IP address. Services such as Netflix and Hulu require a U.S. IP address so it’s not a surprise that the WWE Network operates on a similar model.
The best VPN service you can get is called Hide My Ass! at HideMyAss.com. They offer three different packages – a monthly, half year, and full year. A monthly plan will cost you $11.52 (per month), a six month plan will cost $8.33 (per month), and a full year plan will cost $6.55 (per month). A six month plan will save you 27% and a one year plan will save you 43%, giving you the best deal overall.
With the Hide My Ass! VPN you will be able to see the WWE Network in full. Their FAQ page covers everything on how to make it work on your iPhone, iPad, Android devices, router, or your desktop computer, using their own simple software.
There are other free VPN services but obviously not as reliable as paid service. A simple Google search for VPN service will come up with a lot of results and options.
PAYING FOR THE WWE NETWORK
WWE accepts all major credit cards as well as PayPal to pay for the service. It’s billed at $9.99 a month but it does require a six month commitment. Basically, if you’re fed up after a month or two, WWE will still take your money for up to six months.
As things stand now, a U.S. credit card is not required to pay for the WWE Network. The name, credit card type, credit card number, and three digit security code are required when you sign up. A billing address has been introduced but you can still input your U.S. address in the billing contact address as the system does not compare your real credit card billing address to the U.S. address you have created. You can also use your PayPal account if you have one.
DO YOU HAVE APPLE TV / ROKU / PS3 / PS4 / XBOX?
If you have an Apple TV you will need to update the Apple TV to the latest software by downloading it through the device before the WWE Network channel shows up and make sure that the location of your Apple TV is set to United States and not your home country in the settings, otherwise you will not see the WWE Network channel. According to the latest information we have, iTunes are giving a refund to those who are not in the United States but still managed to pay for the Network because legally, it’s supposed to be available only in the U.S. Whatever you do, do not pay for a WWE Network subscription through your iTunes account as you will be booted out eventually.
If you have any other connected device like a Roku, Playstation, or Xbox, you will still need to be geographically located in the United States. A VPN is more difficult to set up for these devices, so in this case, a DNS service is preferred. Unlocator is currently offering a DNS service that lets you change the DNS settings of your device to allow you to watch the WWE Network. This service is perfect for a TV-connected device (not ideal for iPad, iPhone, Android, and desktops. VPN is preferred for that.). Once you put the Unlocator DNS settings, your connected device will look like it’s sitting in the United States 24/7. The DNS settings that Unlocator provides are 185.37.37.37 and 185.37.37.185. After creating an Unlocator account, replace the DNS settings you have with one or both of these numbers, restart the device and you’re good to go.
Please note that when signing up for your DNS account, you need to be on the same network that your device is and using your internet provider’s IP address. Unlocator will register your IP address when signing up and that will be used to switch your location. In other words, do not sign up for an account from work when your TV-connected device is at home. Do it from the same network, otherwise it will not work.
Unlocator has three plans $4.95 a month, a 6-month plan for $27.50, and 12-month plan for $49.95. The 6-month plan has a 7% savings while the 12-month plan has a 16% savings.
It’s important that the location of your accounts for Apple TV, Roku, Playstation, and Xbox should be set to United States and not your home country, otherwise the WWE Network channel will not show up on your device.
Happy viewing!
That’s it. You don’t need anything else. Just make sure you connect to your U.S. VPN before loading the WWE app or the WWE Network website and you’re good to go.
As you can see, it’s doable and relatively easy to do, although there are additional charges to get the phone service as well as the VPN service. But let’s face it, the charges aren’t that big and you will get to see the WWE Network just like everyone in the United States!
Mark it down on your calendars, because today, February 24, is one of the most important days in the history of WWE and professional wrestling. WWE today officially launched the WWE Network in the United States, a 24/7 scheduled and on-demand streaming service.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts told TMZ.COM that he has just been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor behind his knee and will be going under emergency surgery on Tuesday.
The soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer noticed a tumor behind his knee the size of a half dollar last month and had it tested. Unfortunately the doctors came back to him with bad news on Friday as it tested positive for cancer.
Roberts said cancer or not, he will honor his appearance on March 14 at Jersey Championship Wrestling and nothing will stop him from going to New Orleans to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
“If the devil can’t defeat me, cancer doesn’t stand a chance in hell! Pray for sick children who face this horrible disease ’cause The Snake will be just fine,” Roberts told TMZ.COM.
Live tonight from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, WWE presents the Elimination Chamber on pay-per-view. The full card is as follows:
Randy Orton vs Sheamus vs Christian vs John Cena vs Cesaro vs Daniel Bryan for the WWE title in an Elimination Chamber match; Batista vs Alberto Del Rio; Big E vs Jack Swagger for the Intercontinental title; Darren Young vs Titus O’Neil; New Age Outlaws vs The Usos for the Tag Team titles; The Shield vs The Wyatt Family; and Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs Ryback and Curtis Axel in the kickoff match.
WWE.COM has announced that the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will not be streamed on Microsoft’s Xbox WWE app due to the WWE Network launch tomorrow.
The WWE Network will be part of the Xbox and will be available on the Xbox 360 tomorrow. Availability of the Network on the Xbox One console will come in the Summer according to WWE.
The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will be available on the PlayStation app as usual.
Former WWE champion CM Punk was at the UFC 170 pay-per-view last night in Las Vegas, Nevada, and briefly appeared on camera.
Punk was wearing a hoodie to cover up as he was sitting cage side right next to UFC President Dana White. Punk is a big fan of the UFC, often attending events and at one point was supposed to walk out with Chael Sonnen at an event in Chicago, a move which was blocked by WWE’s Vince McMahon just days before it was supposed to happen.
WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin was also in the house, sitting cage side along with Urijah Faber. Austin was on camera multiple times as he was right next to where fighters are checked before entering the cage.
You can see three photos of Punk and Austin at UFC 170 below.
Hulk Hogan made his first comments yesterday after he was revealed by the WWE as being the host of WrestleMania XXX in a press release.
“Well I guess it’s that time again, I hope they are ready, this is gonna be the best run ever, it’s great to finally be home,” Hogan said, writing “WWE4LIFE” at the end of his tweet. The Twitter world went crazy after the announcement and Hogan acknowledged the love he received from his fans.
“I am so grateful for the outpouring of love from everyone, thank you and it has to be the greatest day of my life to know I’m coming home to WWE where it all started, I am so grateful, only love,” Hogan added in a later tweet.
Hogan will be making his first appearance since December 2007 for the WWE this Monday on RAW, which will also see the return of the Undertaker to kick off his WrestleMania angle. The Hulkster will have a role similar to what The Rock had at WrestleMania 27 when he was a host and his training at the WWE Performance Center will surely spark some rumors about him involved in some action as well.
Former WWE champion The Miz and former WWE Divas champion Maryse tied the knot earlier this week in a ceremony held in beautiful Bahamas.
The duo have been dating for quite a few years now and The Miz made his initial move when Maryse was part of the Divas Search contest and he was hosting it. The couple got engaged last year and announced that their wedding would be in February.
Several current and former WWE Superstars and Divas were present at the wedding including Dolph Ziggler, John Morrison, Zack Ryder, and Kelly Kelly.
In a funny tweet, Ryback sent his congratulations to The Miz saying, “HUGE Congrats to Miz 4 being happy w/ half of whatever he has coming to him in the future.” In typical Ryback Twitter fashion, he deleted the tweet later, like he does for all his messages.
WWE has officially announced the return of the Immortal Hulk Hogan on WWE.COM today, saying that the Hulkster will be appearing live on RAW this Monday and will be hosting WrestleMania XXX, a similar role that The Rock had at WrestleMania 28.
“We are thrilled that Hulk Hogan has returned home to WWE,” WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon said. “It’s fitting to have him help us celebrate 30 years of WrestleMania and usher in a new era with the launch of WWE Network.”
The Hulkster was equally enthusiastic about his return. “Words cannot express how excited I am to be back in the WWE family. I only have one question for the WWE Universe: Whatcha you gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild as the host of WrestleMania 30?”
This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW did 4,360,000 viewers, up just a few thousands viewers from last week’s edition with guest appearance from Betty White.
Hour one had 4,660,000 viewers, followed by 4,300,000 in the second hour, and then down to 4,130,000 viewers in the third and final hour. The show lost over half a million viewers going from hour one to hour three. (Ratings credit: PWInsider.com)
WWE creative writer David Kapoor, better known to WWE fans as The Great Khali’s manager Ranjin Singh, posted on Twitter that Khali is now a U.S. citizen.
“To my bro @GreatKhali, congrats on becoming a US Citizen today! Now we’re both as American as @WWEZeb #WeThePeople,” he wrote on his Twitter.
Kapoor posted a photo of Khali holding a small American flag with his hand on his chest during the ceremony which was held yesterday.
The 41 year old Khali has been employed by the WWE since 2006. Before beginning his professional wrestling career in 2000, he was a police officer in the Punjab state police.
Hulk Hogan posed for a photograph with the WWE Performance Center staff and trainers in Orlando, Florida, this week, and TMZ.COM managed to obtain the photo.
Hogan is seen in full wrestling gear centered between the staff and trainers including Bill DeMott, Dusty Rhodes, Norman Smiley, Terry Taylor and others.
The WWE Hall of Famer will be returning to the WWE this coming Monday on RAW and is expected to have a role at WrestleMania XXX in April. Hogan has been doing some training at the WWE Performance Center as he gets ready to make his first WWE appearance since December 2007.
During the conference call held earlier today to discuss the quarter earnings results, Vince McMahon made the first public comment about CM Punk since Punk walked out of the company several weeks ago.
When McMahon was asked about the upcoming WrestleMania and a status update on CM Punk by one of the callers who managed to get through. McMahon said that this year’s WrestleMania will be big both storyline-wise and talent-wise and as far as CM Punk goes, the Chairman and CEO said, “He’s taking a sabbatical, let’s just put it that way.”
WWE has avoided talking about CM Punk since he quit almost a month ago and Punk himself has not used his Twitter account since January 27, where he thanked his fans for all the support. WWE has denied releasing him last week and Punk remains on the WWE.COM website and his merchandise is still selling on WWEShop.com.

In reaction to DISH Network’s decision to dump the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view from its schedule and basically the rest of the WWE pay-per-views, WWE issued a statement on their own.
“WWE is pleased that the majority of our cable and satellite Pay-Per-View distributors are giving our fans an option to purchase traditional Pay-Per-Views as we prepare to launch WWE Network on Monday, February 24. Unfortunately, DISH will not be doing so. We hope DISH will reconsider for this Sunday’s Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View event and especially for WrestleMania 30,” the statement read.
WrestleMania 30 will undoubtedly be a major, major loss in revenue for both WWE and DISH if the provider decides not to carry it as well. DISH said that it will consider carrying WWE shows on an event-by-event basis.
The Hell In A Cell pay-per-view was the most successful in the last quarter while Battleground was the biggest loser out of the four pay-per-views which WWE offered between October and December.
The first Battleground did 114,000 buys, followed by Hell In A Cell with 228,000 buys, up from the 199,000 the show did the previous year. The Survivor Series was down from 208,000 buys of the 2012 edition to just 177,000 in 2013 while TLC did 181,000 buys, an increase of just 6,000 buys over the previous year.
Survivor Series is the worst of the original top four pay-per-views when it comes to buys and is no longer a draw as in previous years.
WWE announced its fourth quarter results ending December 31, 2013, before the market opened today, with revenues totaling $118.4 million as compared to $115.1 million in the prior year quarter. The company had an operating loss of $12.2 million compared to an income of $2.6 million in the prior year quarter. Net loss was $7.9 million compared to an income of $0.6 million.
The decline and loss were majorly due to a heavy investment in staff, talent, and marketing initiatives to launch the WWE Network.
“During the past year, we laid the foundation for future growth and enhanced our brand strength,” stated Vince McMahon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “We have now announced the renewal of our television distribution agreement in the U.K., are continuing the negotiations regarding our domestic content, and are poised to launch our global WWE Network in the next few days. With preparations for WrestleMania 30 fully underway, we look forward to celebrating our enduring legacy and ushering in a new era as we blaze new trails in the media industry.”
In a statement issued to Wrestling-Online.com from DISH Network’s Corporate Communications office, the company has confirmed that they will not offer WWE pay-per-views however will consider the value of the PPV shows on an event by event basis.
“WWE has chosen to launch a 24/7 online network, without its TV partners, that includes all of its pay-per-view events. As WWE enters the increasingly fragmented media world by themselves, DISH will continue to consider the value of WWE
pay-per-view on an event by event basis,” the statement says.
“DISH continues to provide a variety of WWE programming, including WWE Raw on USA, WWE Smackdown on Syfy, WWE Main Event on Ion and WWE Total Divas on E!. At this time, WWE pay-per-view events are not available on DISH.”
DISH becomes the first PPV provider to dump WWE shows due to the WWE Network. DirecTV threatened to do the same in January but has confirmed that it will carry the Elimination Chamber, the last PPV-only show that will air before the Network launches.
Upcoming WWE pay-per-views will be available on the WWE Network as part of the $9.99 package and will also be airing on the traditional pay-per-view format for the usual price of $54.95.
