Paramount and UFC extended seven-year deal to Latin America and Australia

UFC Paramount

Even though their partnership has not officially started yet, Paramount and the UFC today announced a new deal which will see viewers in Latin America and Australia watch all UFC shows on Paramount+ for the next seven years.

The length of the deal and specifics are the same as the one that was signed for the United States. Both deals kick off in January 2026.

“The partnership with Paramount has already been incredible and it just keeps getting bigger and better,” said UFC President and CEO Dana White. “They are now taking on new territories like Latin America and Australia and this thing is just going to continue to grow. It just shows you how aggressive they are with this business, and I love it. I can’t wait to continue working together and building the next generation of talent all over the world.”

“Delivering premium UFC programming to audiences on a global scale remains a top priority for Paramount,” said Cindy Holland, Chair of Direct-To-Consumer, Paramount. “We are thrilled to expand upon the historic offering of UFC content for Paramount+ subscribers across all plans to more passionate and engaged fans around the world.”

UFC fans across Latin America, including Brazil, will have unprecedented access to every moment of the action, with all 13 marquee numbered events and 30 UFC Fight Nights televised live, at no additional cost to Paramount+ subscribers. This expansion positions Paramount+ as the premier destination for UFC fans in the region and significantly increases the value proposition for subscribers by bringing together the sport’s most anticipated events in one place. Today, Paramount+ has further solidified its position as a leading platform for world-class sports and entertainment in Latin America.

Paramount+ Australia is also stepping into the Octagon. As part of its expanded sports offering, the fastest-growing major streaming service in the country is bringing fans a great lineup of UFC content—including all 30 UFC Fight Nights, as well as the prelims for all marquee UFC numbered events. This strategic move brings two powerhouse live sports programs under one roof and supercharges the sports experience across Paramount+ in the region.

This expanded partnership underscores the commitment of Paramount+ to broaden its diverse offering of high-quality TV series, blockbuster movies, most-watched reality, and favorite kids’ content to global audiences through one of the world’s most dynamic and influential sports franchises.

Details on the first UFC events to stream live on Paramount+ in the U.S., Latin America, and Australia, will be announced in coming weeks.

Windham did not reveal what Rotunda is suffering from, although being in hospice care does not bode well.

“It’s kind of tough right now, you know, Mike is in hospice right now,” Windham told Apter. “So, anyway, that family…I love that family, but it’s so tragic.”

Rotunda is the father of the late Bray Wyatt and current WWE Superstar Bo “Uncle Howdy” Dallas.

WWE Intercontinental title triple threat match added to November 1 SNME

The WWE Intercontinental title will be defended on Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend in a triple threat match after last night’s #1 contender match ended in a no contest following the interference of Los Americanos.

El Grande Americano along with Bravo and Rayo attacked challengers Rusev and Penta during their match, causing a non-finish and leaving champ Dominik Mysterio with no opponent.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was not impressed with what happened, even though Mysterio played dumb and didn’t know the attack was going to happen, suggesting that Rusev and Penta should now go after Los Americanos. But Pearce shot down that idea and instead made Mysterio defend the title in a triple threat match this Saturday.

It is the fourth match on the card following Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre for the WWE title, CM Punk vs Jey Uso for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight title, and Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s title.

Teaser videos on WWE social media reportedly related to WrestleMania 42

WrestleMania 42

WWE has been busy posting teasers on social media since yesterday, showing a clip of individuals walking, with the camera focusing just on their shoes.

The first video sparked some theories online on who it might be and if it’s something related to tonight’s Raw but then a couple of more videos, showing different walking styles and shoes, surfaced.

PWInsider.com is reporting that top WWE Superstars including the likes of Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns, were filming scenes for a WrestleMania 42 promo which is about to drop and these teasers are related to this video.

WrestleMania 42 tickets went on sale several weeks ago but sales have been very disappointing so far, with WWE not even mentioning anything about it unlike last year when tickets for WrestleMania 41 flew off Ticketmaster despite the high prices.

Two-day combo tickets for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas are available starting from $704.77 plus fees with almost half of Allegiant Stadium still closed off.

Blake Monroe, Tatum Paxley, and DarkState win titles at Halloween Havoc

NXT Halloween Havoc saw a total of three title changes out of five title matches last night.

It was Blake Monroe who was responsible for the first title change, defeating Zaria to become the new NXT Women’s North American champion. Zaria was defending the title on behalf of Sol Ruca, who is injured and unable to compete, but the former Mariah May picked up her first gold since arriving a few months ago. Ruca’s reign came to a close after 189 days.

The NXT Women’s champion also changed hands in what many thought was a surprise ending, with Tatum Paxley defeating Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne to become the new queen of NXT. The ending came when The Culling ran out for interference and Izzi Dame snatched the title and pretended to hit Paxley, but Paxley moved away and Jayne avoided the collision, knocking out Dame. That was enough distraction for Paxley to hit the Cemetery Driver on Jayne for the pinfall. Jayne held on to the title for 151 days and this marked Paxley’s first gold in NXT.

The third title change came at the expense of The Hardys, who lost the NXT Tag Team titles against DarkState in a Broken Rules match. The match had a lot of tables and ladders spots, with Jeff Hardy doing some of his usual crazy stunts. DarkState won when they hit a Doomsday Device off a ladder through a table on Brother Nero. The Hardys’ run with the titles only lasted 18 days.

Ethan Page and Ricky Saints were the only ones who successfully defended their respective gold on the show.
