Iyo Sky victorious against Mayu Iwatani at Marigold Grand Destiny 2025

Iyo Sky wrestled a rare non-WWE match in Japan, main eventing the Marigold Grand Destiny 2025 show against Mayu Iwatani held at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.

The nearly 27-minute match ended when Sky hit two, quick picture-perfect moonsaults from the top rope, pinning the former IWGP Women’s champion for the win.

After the match, the two shared a long hug in the ring and were very emotional. During the pre-show press conference, Iwatani cried when Sky looked at her as this was a dream match for her.

Fellow Japanese star and WWE Women’s United States champion Giulia wrote on Instagram that she watched the match and it made her cry, telling fans that she also has a heart!

Former NXT talent Sareee was also part of the show, defeating Chika Goto. Sareee recently made her ROH debut.
