During an episode of Busted Open Radio which Bubba Ray Dudley co-hosts, the soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer asked Edge if he and Christian would do the honors for the Dudleys at the Hall of Fame.
After confirming that both of them will in New Orleans for WrestleMania, Bubba asked the question. “So, how about this? How about if you guys aren’t busy, you wanna induct us into the Hall of Fame?”
Edge replied, “Oh yeah? I think we can make that happen! I got a nice tux, I don’t know about Christian but we can get him into something!” Bubba said that they should make it happen because it would be a lot of fun and Edge jokingly said that it’s his call, because at the end of the day, D-Von doesn’t really have a say!
“I think we need to get all six members of the band back together and I think we need to see you, Jay, me, D-Von, Matt and Jeff on that stage one more time together because we haven’t been in the same spot together for probably 15 years…so…let’s see if we can make that happen,” Bubba said.
Edge liked the idea and said that if everyone else is in, he’s in as well.
Many WCW Thunder episodes have landed on the WWE Network, starting from the first episode held on January 8, 1998 live from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
In total, the WWE Network has 77 episodes of Thunder so far, with the last one available from September 9, 1999, an episode taped from the Wendler Arena in Saginaw, Michigan.
The 77 number represents half the available episodes which form part of the full Thunder library. WCW produced 146 episodes of the show which aired on TBS until March 21, 2001.
The Thunder episodes are available in the Vault section of the WWE Network.
The highlight of tonight’s Monday Night Raw will without a doubt be The Ultimate Deletion match between Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt.
Filmed two weeks ago at the Hardy compound in Cameron, North Carolina, The Ultimate Deletion is a match like no other and will be the third one filmed at the compound following the previous two for Impact Wrestling.
The whole Hardy clan – wife Rebecca, sons Maxel and Wolfgang, and father-in-law Señor Benjamin – are all part of the match, along with the Vanguard 1 drone and Skarsgård the boat. If you think all this is crazy it’s because it is…but it’s a good kind of crazy. The other two matches at the Hardy compound did not disappoint and were a big hit with the fans so tonight should be no different.
Also tonight on Raw is supposed to be the return of Brock Lesnar. Lesnar has not showed up for the past two Raws as advertised but Vince McMahon guaranteed that he will be there tonight. With just 19 days to WrestleMania, Reigns and Lesnar have not been face-to-face yet.
Last week, John Cena challenged The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania much to the delight of the fans. Will The Undertaker respond? And if yes, which Undertaker will show up? Is it the American Badass Undertaker, or will it be the Deadman?
WWE will be going all out for Saudi Arabia as the company today announced that The Greatest Royal Rumble event will also feature seven championship matches along with the 50-man battle royal.
The event, taking place on Friday, April 27 at the 60,000-seater King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah will see the WWE title, Universal title, Intercontinental title, United States title, Raw and Smackdown Tag Team titles, and the Cruiserweight title all on the line. The women’s titles are missing from the list and with the strict rules for women in the country, the women might not make this trip.
Tickets will be available Saturday, March 31 and the event is expected to air on the WWE Network.
WWE’s biggest names including John Cena, Triple H, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, and others will be doing this trip. Rumored for an appearance are Chris Jericho and The Undertaker.
This show is part of a 10-year contract that WWE has signed with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudi is paying millions and millions of dollars to WWE for these shows.

The WWE Hall of Fame will turn into the Hall of Pain as Mark Henry is the last one to be joining the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
The 46-year-old Olympian weightlifter is one of the longest-serving WWE employees, having joined the company in 1996. He signed a 10-year deal upon arrival at the age of just 24 and made his debut at SummerSlam that year, starting a feud with Jerry “The King” Lawler.
In 1998, Henry joined the Nation of Domination along with Farooq, The Rock, D’Lo Brown, and Kama and went on to have a memorable feud with D-Generation X. Unfortunately for him, after the Nation disbanded, Henry was given a sex addict gimmick and was referred to as the Sexual Chocolate. Henry had a hilarious program with the late Mae Young where Young gave birth to a hand.
Henry disappeared from WWE television as he returned to OVW for training and to participate in more strongman competitions. In 2002, he returned to the main roster but an injury quickly forced him out again, returning in 2003, before yet another injury kept him for a long time.
Mark Henry returned in January 2006 and engaged in a feud with The Undertaker and had a casket match with him at WrestleMania 22. After going through most of the Superstars on the roster, Henry was injured again, tearing off his patella tendon off his bone, putting him on the sidelines again for a whole year.
In 2008, Henry was drafted to ECW and he was joined by Tony Atlas as his manager. He won the ECW title in a triple threat match against Kane and Big Show at Night of Champions but he lost the title to Matt Hardy at the Unforgiven pay-per-view.
In 2011, Henry started his path to the World Heavyweight title, winning a 20-man battle royal to become the number one contender. He defeated Randy Orton at Night of Champions, marking his first world championship in WWE after 15 years. He lost it at TLC to the Big Show in a chairs match. The Olympian then had to leave WWE again for nearly a year to undergo another surgery.
Perhaps one of his greatest moments came in June 2013 when he teased his retirement on Raw while wearing the infamous peach-looking jacket. Henry cried in front of the fans and John Cena joined in…only for the whole thing to be a swerve as Henry viciously attacked Cena and challenged him for the only title that he never won: the WWE title. Henry never won the title and after that he engaged in different feuds and took more hiatuses due to injuries.
His final match in a WWE ring came at the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33. He appeared at the Raw 25th anniversary special in a backstage segment as well.
The weightlifter won the ECW title, World Heavyweight title, and European title during his WWE career but his weightlifting accomplishments trump pretty much anything he did in WWE, winning several championships and strongman competitions.
Kurt Angle had high praise for his WrestleMania tag team partner Ronda Rousey, saying that down the road, Rousey will be the best in the business.
Re-posting a photo of Rousey crashing on a mat in the ring as he is sitting in the corner, Angle noted that this was “the only rest” that the former UFC Bantamweight champion has gotten in the past two weeks.
“This woman utterly amazes me. Her work ethic, progression and willingness to learn is unparalleled. She wants to be the best??? She WILL be the best,” Angle wrote.
Rousey has not had any pro wrestling matches so far and the WrestleMania mixed tag match will be her first one. Kurt and Ronda have been practicing their match pretty much daily as WrestleMania allows zero room for error.
“I know I got a lot of catching up to do. But I’m not afraid of hard work. I got the very best in my corner,” Ronda wrote in her original post. “I know when I concentrate all my passion on a goal I have the power to change the world – just like everyone else does. Work + Time = Mastery.”
In an interview with UAE-based The National website published today, Daniel Bryan discussed the possibilities of getting cleared for a WWE return after going to multiple doctors.
Whereas in the past the idea of him getting cleared was close to zero, Bryan is hopeful that the percentage has now changed, even though he made it clear that as of today, he is still not cleared to get in the ring.
“I have done everything in my power, everything they have asked me to do, and I have gone above and beyond as far as, ‘Okay, what doctors do you need me to see. Send me to any doctor you want, any doctor that you want and lets get their feedback on what is going on with me.’ So far, every doctor has cleared me that they have sent me to and there is a chance,” Bryan said.
“With how everything is, there is one way to go if I don’t get cleared and there is another way to go if I am cleared. I am hoping to be cleared, but I don’t know which way it goes,” he added.
If Bryan gets cleared in time for WrestleMania, the big chance is that he will be added in the Owens/Zayn/McMahon storyline, and possibly changing the current Owens vs Zayn match in a tag team against Shane and Bryan.
His deal with WWE expires later this year and Bryan made it clear on multiple occasions that if he is not cleared to return, he will seek alternate employment once his deal is up. The former WWE champion would command some serious money on the indie scene and when it’s all said and done he might actually make more money there than he’s doing in WWE.
Bryan was in Abu Dhabi today to visit the Special Olympics IX Mena Games at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. He returns to his on-screen Smackdown Live General Manager role on Tuesday.
The Tennessean newspaper is reporting that Rey Mysterio has joined the Aro Lucha company both as a performer and a co-owner and will be part of the tapings of the first season.
The Nashville-based Aro Lucha is run by Jason Brown and the Harris Brothers who were in charge of the production-side of TNA Wrestling under the company Aroluxe years ago.
Brown, who serves as the CEO as well, said that the company will be launching a crowdfunding program where they will give fans minority stake in the company depending on how much money they pump in.
“I think what we are doing with Aro Lucha being fan-owned is revolutionary,” Mysterio said. “We are giving the fans something they have never had before, a voice and a chance to get in on the action.”
According to federal laws, Aro Lucha can raise up to $1 million by selling a minority stake to non-creditors, in this case, fans.
The next episode of WWE 24 will be titled Empowered and will air tomorrow night on the WWE Network immediately following Monday Night Raw.
The topic of this episode will be the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble and the arrival of Ronda Rousey. This is the second WWE 24 episode that will concentrate only on women’s wrestling, with the first one titled Women’s Evolution which aired in August 2016.
This particular WWE 24 episode is the second of the year and WWE typically releases four or five episodes of the series yearly. WWE 24 is one of the highest-rated original series on the WWE Network due to the way its shot and the incredible amount of backstage access that it’s given.
WWE released a short preview of tomorrow’s show which focuses on Dana Brooke as she pays tribute to her late boyfriend, Dallas McCarver, at the Royal Rumble. You can see it below.
Ronda Rousey will be making her Madison Square Garden debut on July 7 when WWE returns to New York for the non-televised SummerSlam Heatwave Tour.
Rousey is advertised on the graphic along with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, and Braun Strowman. WWE announced the return to MSG during last night’s show and the event is now also listed on TheGarden.com website.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 13 at 4PM EST. A pre-sale will be held a few days earlier on Ticketmaster.com and fans can purchase tickets using the code WWELIVE.
Notably absent from the poster is Brock Lesnar who usually works the house shows in big markets such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, New York, etc.
For the past several weeks, filmmaker Jonny Bravo has hyped up his documentary to the moon and back. On his Instagram posts, Bravo targeted one specific individual to “sell” his documentary, his number one villain: WWE Superstar Roman Reigns.
Many were skeptical about it. His Instagram posts were filled with comments from nonbelievers. Some gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited to see the documentary before commenting. Including myself.
The thought of Roman Reigns being implicated with hard evidence with just a month leading up to WrestleMania would have been a news of epic proportions. Reigns is the face of WWE. He’s the man who is set to take the Universal title away from the evil Brock Lesnar. WWE would have had no option but to act, take off Reigns from the card and basically destroy the main event.
Roman Reigns has already one Wellness suspension to his name from June 2016. He was suspended for 30 days, and lost the WWE title at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view just two days before he was sent home. “I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it,” he wrote on Twitter at the time. WWE never said what Reigns was popped for.
When the original story broke, Roman Reigns quickly acted and disassociated himself from the whole mess. “I have never heard of Richard Rodriguez or Wellness Fitness Nutrition. I learned from the mistake I made nearly two years ago and paid the penalty for it. Since then, I’ve passed 11 tests as part of WWE’s independent drug testing program,” he said in a statement posted on Twitter on January 18. That was the only time he addressed the situation.
On February 19, Jonny Bravo posted on his Instagram a photo of Roman Reigns with the words, “The evidence of Roman Reigns and the story behind his involvement with WFN and Richard Rodriguez.” He added that Reigns denied knowing WFN or Rodriguez however his contact record has been found on the laptop that was originally seized by the DEA which Bravo now had in his possession.
A few days later, Bravo continued to target Reigns, saying that it appears that the drug test failed by Reigns in June 2016 was directly as a result of orders placed with WFN. “My platform is not a platform based upon rumors. Everything released or stated is based upon 100% facts that have thoroughly investigated and verified by the appropriate sources,” Bravo wrote.
On February 25, Bravo had already started to cover himself by writing that the orders Reigns placed with WFN were done under different aliases and that there are “10’s of thousands of orders” that he is carefully going through.
Three days later, Bravo went all in again. “The report will contain not only the evidence on Reigns, but all former and current WWE stars and their connections with WFN.” That was a bold statement. A statement that required 110% hard, solid evidence to be believed.
Unfortunately for Bravo, that evidence was nothing but smoke.
Towards the closing moments of his so-called evidence documentary, Bravo pretty much shot himself in the foot.
“You know, my job as a journalist, reporter, and filmmaker, is to confirm the statements that you make through the evidence I receive,” Bravo tells Rodriguez while on the phone with him. “Up to this point, each and every person you have named I have been given evidence for, however, some of the evidence that I need in order to be a 110% accurate with my findings…I’m still waiting for.”
Bravo goes on to say that without that key information, the cases against Mark Wahlberg and Roman Reigns cannot be verified. Bravo then mentions the late Johnny Cochran and his famous quote at the O.J. Simpson trial which goes, “If the glove doesn’t fit, you must acquit.” Bravo tells Rodriguez that you have to prove somebody without a reasonable doubt in order to implicate.
“As far as Roman Reigns, since his orders were placed under an alias, it’s impossible for me to cross reference his orders without seeing the communication you had with him through text messages,” Bravo tells Rodriguez.
Are you confused yet? Because you should be. Bravo, for weeks, alluded that he had concrete evidence against Roman Reigns. He uploaded several Instagram posts that suggested the evidence he has against Reigns was going to be so big that it will expose WWE’s drug testing program. But even he knew he had nothing. No evidence whatsoever on the laptop. Nothing.
After he released the documentary, Bravo was pretty much crucified in the comments on the YouTube page, and rightfully so.
Replying to the comments, Bravo repeated the statement that there is evidence, writing it in all caps for emphasis, against Reigns but he’s not ready to release it without “key texts to match the orders.” Those key texts might never arrive and at this point, Bravo cried wolf one too many times to be believed again.
Bravo told his viewers that he was going away from YouTube for a while to “focus more on the WFN film and other feature film opportunities” that he has been given.
Hopefully those new feature film opportunities do not include the need of investigative journalism!
WWE returned to Madison Square Garden last night for a non-televised show part of the Road to WrestleMania tour. There were some changes to the advertised card but all those advertised appeared as scheduled.
AJ Styles was supposed to tag team with Shinsuke Nakamura to take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn but an injury angle played out after Owens and Zayn took out the WWE champion. The results are as follows:
Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Kevin Owens via disqualification; Cedric Alexander defeated Drew Gulak; Asuka defeated Mandy Rose; Matt Hardy defeated Bray Wyatt; The Bar defeated The New Day, Titus Worldwide, and Gallows and Anderson to retain the Raw Tag Team titles; Brock Lesnar defeated Kane and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match to retain the WWE Universal title; Alexa Bliss defeated Sasha Banks and Bayley in a triple threat to retain the Raw Women’s title; John Cena and Nikki Bella defeated Elias and Sonya Deville; Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, and Seth Rollins defeated The Miz, Curtis Axel, and Bo Dallas in the main event.
Filmmaker Jonny Bravo released his much-anticipated WFN documentary titled “The Evidence of WFN & The Story Behind The Distribution” yesterday on his YouTube channel.
Most of the alleged evidence comes from the laptop of Richard Rodriguez, the kingpin of the Wellness Fitness and Nutrition steroid ring. Bravo acquired the laptop after it was released in a court proceeding and was last used by WFN in February of 2016. More laptops and phones are still in DEA possession and those have information up until February 2017.
Bravo has alluded that many WWE Superstars – past and present – have been clients of Richard Rodriguez. During the run-up to the release, Bravo targeted specifically former WWE champion Roman Reigns.
Bodybuilder Chris Bell was the one who in the documentary, Rodriguez reveals as the guy who linked him up to WWE Superstars, including Roman Reigns, John Cena, and Steve Austin. At this point, a bunch of text messages between Bell and Rodriguez come on screen, with one particular message sticking out reading, “Also, did you get a chance to speak with The Rock and John Cena?” The message was sent by Rodriguez to Chris Bell on January 28, 2016 at 6:04AM.
That was the last text message on this device as from there onwards, all other communications are on the other phones and computers still locked up with the DEA.
Bell is the director of a 2008 documentary titled Bigger, Stronger, Faster, which details the use of anabolic steroids as performance-enhancing drugs in the United States.
Rodriguez says that apart from Chris Bell, Rick Bassman also introduced him to several stars, including Brock Lesnar. Chris Cavallini, a trainer, also ordered several steroids and in the documentary he’s shown being friends with Sheamus and Jinder Mahal. Mahal credited Cavallini with his body transformation ever since he has returned to WWE in an episode of Talk is Jericho.
Another individual, Jesse Burdick, ordered $40,000 worth of steroids from WFN. Burdick is pictured in the documentary alongside with John Cena and Bobby Lashley, alluding that he bought these steroids for his friends.
Daniel Puder, the former Tough Enough winner is also a client and former employee of WFN. Puder was getting commission from selling steroids to famous athletes and MMA fighters and drew up a contract, published in this documentary, that he wanted with WFN to get commission.
Tony Morris, a celebrity trainer which the movie Magic Mike was also inspired by, allegedly ordered steroids for Kevin Nash to get in shape for the movie, Rodriguez added.
Actor Josh Duhamel, who denied being involved, is exposed as ordering under his real name and address and his text messages to Rodriguez are displayed.
Towards the end of the documentary, Bravo, while speaking over the phone to Rodriguez, says that for now, he can’t really implicate actor Mark Wahlberg and WWE Superstar Roman Reigns, because the rest of the information are in the iPhones, iPads, and laptop that the DEA still have in their possession.
Bravo claims that the two used aliases and addresses not registered in their name and the information on the other devices are required to connect all the dots as at this point it makes cross referencing impossible.
“Even though contact information of Leati Joseph Anoa’i (AKA Roman Reigns) & orders that Richard says are his were found on the laptop, without the direct text communications between them, they cannot be verified until their (sic) received,” a statement in the documentary says.
At the end of the day, all evidence in this documentary are circumstantial at best and links no WWE Superstar directly to the WFN steroid business unlike what Bravo said in the past. No direct proof was ever presented that Reigns, Cena, Lesnar, or any other WWE Superstar were clients of WFN.
Impact posted the second-best number of 2018 so far with 350,000 viewers tuning in this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling on POP. That is an increase of 25,000 viewers from last week’s broadcast. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
WWE will be returning to Madison Square Garden tonight for a non-televised live event part of the Road to WrestleMania tour.
The show is headlined by a triple threat match between WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar taking on Kane and Braun Strowman. Lesnar has so far only appeared at non-televised events and has yet to appear on Raw to push his match against Roman Reigns. He was advertised for the past two Raw shows but for storyline purposes he was kept out and will be returning this coming Monday. The two house shows that Lesnar was a part of were quick work for the champion, finishing his first match in 35 seconds and the second one in just over a minute.
Nikki Bella will also be returning to the ring tonight, teaming up with her fiancee John Cena to take on Elias and his Facebook Mixed Match Challenge tag team partner Bayley. This will be Nikki’s first appearance in the ring since the Royal Rumble.
The Smackdown brand will be represented at the show as WWE champion AJ Styles and Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura will battle Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Others scheduled to appear are The Bar, Finn Balor, The Miz, Seth Rollins, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and others.
At a press conference held inside the MetLife Stadium, WWE today officially announced WrestleMania coming back to the state, six years after they held WrestleMania 29 at the same location.
The New Day kicked off the festivities and then introduced John Saboor, the Executive Vice President of Special Events at WWE. Saboor went over some quick notes and then introduced Lt. Governor Shelia Oliver who made the announcement that WWE is bringing back WrestleMania to the state of New Jersey.
“We are honored to officially announce that WrestleMania 35 will take place here at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, April 7, 2019,” the Lt. Governor said. Oliver then thanked the Governor and WWE for bringing WrestleMania back to the region.
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H were introduced and each gave a history of WrestleMania and the events surrounding it. Triple H then invited a sharp-looking Ronda Rousey on the stage to deliver some short remarks. Rousey and Triple H stood face-to-face and then Triple H smiled and backed away. Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment also said a few words about the history of the Barclays Center with WWE.
John Cena was the last one to address the crowd with another short statement before The New Day came back on stage and threw pancakes to everyone.
WWE Superstars Nikki Bella, Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, Apollo, Titus O’Neil, and Braun Strowman were all sitting in the first row.
The WrestleMania 35 logo was unveiled earlier today at the press conference held at the MetLife Stadium in front of the press, local politicians, and executives of the New York Jets, Giants, and MetLife Stadium.
The logo features the classic WrestleMania font in black on a red background and a gold trim as the outline. The crown of the Statue of Liberty sits on top of the logo in the same gold shade as the trim.
It was not just the fans who were angry about the use of The Fabulous Moolah’s name being attached to the women’s battle royal at WrestleMania, but it turns out that WrestleMania’s main sponsor, SNICKERS, also piled pressure on WWE to disassociate themselves from the name.
“We were recently made aware of the World Wrestling Entertainment Inc’s (WWE) decision to honor a former wrestler during the upcoming WrestleMania 34 event,” a statement from Snickers read. “As a principle-based business that has long championed creating inclusive environments that encourage and empower everyone to reach their full potential, this is unacceptable. We are engaging with the WWE to express our disappointment.”
Yesterday, after much bad press and fan backlash, WWE did a complete 180 and decided to remove Moolah’s name from the match, renaming it to simply WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal.
Following WWE’s decision to rename the battle royal, SNICKERS sent out another statement, saying that they are pleased that WWE has decided to change the name.
WWE has officially announced that WrestleMania 35 will be held at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on April 7, 2019, exactly six years to the date since WrestleMania 29 was held in the same location.
A press conference will be held at the stadium today with officials from the New York Giants, WWE, and state attending.
The Hall of Fame, NXT, Raw, and Smackdown will all be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The last time WrestleMania was held in New York/New Jersey, the Hall of Fame was held at Madison Square Garden while Raw was at the Izod Center, across the street from the MetLife Stadium. The Izod Center has since closed down and WWE chose to partner up with their friends at the Barclays Center to host the other WrestleMania-week activities. No event is scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden.
For WrestleMania 29, WWE packed 80,676 fans from all 50 states and 34 countries.
