Ronda Rousey describes her second WWE stint as a “shit show”

Speaking to Complex News ahead of her return to the cage this weekend, Ronda Rousey talked about her second run with WWE, which she called a “shit show” mainly thanks to Vince McMahon.

Rousey said that Vince was “just more far gone and more difficult to work with,” adding to the fact that there was turmoil inside the company which made everything more complicated.

“You would get to the arena and you would be made to do something that somebody threw in your lap that wasn’t… hadn’t thought about it until 15 minutes before,” Rousey said, adding there was no communication at all.

Rousey said that instead of collaborating, everything felt like a negotiation and while she loved being in the ring, the process was a complete clusterf*ck and the anxiety caused by it was not worth it.

“I just look back at it and I just remember the anxiety of not knowing what was going on and then at the last minute, maybe we’d be able to pull it out of our ass and have a good night and maybe not,” Rousey explained.

She said that she was on “team Triple H” and was hoping to be over so he could take over the reigns, something that she didn’t experience since she left before the Hall of Famer took charge.

Rousey will fight Gina Carano for MVP Promotions this Saturday night, live on Netflix.

Dan Spivey thanks Michael Hayes and WWE for “royal treatment” at Backlash

In a post on social media, Dan Spivey thanked Michael Hayes and WWE for the warm welcome he received at Backlash in Tampa this past weekend.

Spivey said that his wife talked him into going to the show and he got a hold of Hayes to see if they could go.

“I thought that Michael would be able to get us in, but I wasn’t expecting the kind of treatment that I got there,” Spivey said. “I expected just to get a seat and enjoy the matches. Well, when we got there, they took us to the back and gave us passes to go anywhere we wanted to go. The reception that I got was just overwhelming.”

He said that he got the royal treatment and could walk in anywhere he wanted to and talk to everyone in the back, something that he wasn’t expecting. And to top it off, they were seated at ringside and also acknowledged on television during the show.

“I just want to tell Michael Hayes, thank you for doing what he did. I want to thank all of the boys who I saw last night, people I’ve never met before, for giving me the respect, that goes a long way with me,” Spivey continued. “I just want to thank everybody, they made it an awesome night for me and my wife. Thank you, Michael Hayes, thank you, WWE.”

Spivey worked in WWE and WCW, using his name in WCW but then adopting the gimmick of Waylon Mercey in his second run with WWE in 1995.

AI detector free human writing traits that AI still struggles to imitate

Have you ever read a piece of writing and just felt something deep inside, without really knowing why it hit you that way?

That feeling is hard to explain, and even harder to create. Humans have been writing for thousands of years, building up a style of expression that is tied closely to personal experience, culture, and raw emotion. AI writing tools have come a long way, but there are still some very human traits they cannot fully pull off.

AI models produce compact, predictable styles, while human writing stays more varied and individual. That gap is real, and it matters more than most people think.

What Makes Human Writing So Unique?

Human writing doesn’t just pass on information. It builds a connection. It makes you feel understood. When a real person writes, they bring with them a lifetime of memories, opinions, and tiny quirks that shape every sentence they put on a page.

The Personal Voice Behind Every Word

Every human writer has a voice. It’s the tone, the rhythm, and the small habits that make their writing feel like a living, breathing person created it. Some writers love long, winding sentences. Others punch hard with short ones. Some throw in a dash of sarcasm that only works because you can sense the real person behind it.

AI doesn’t have a life. It has data. So even when it mimics a style reasonably well, there is still a flatness to it, a kind of over-consistency that feels too polished.

AI writing shows more uniformity in word choice and rhythm, while human writing reflects individual habits, preferences, and creative choices. That difference shows up more clearly than most people expect.

Real Emotion vs. Processed Text

Think about the last time you read something that made you tear up, laugh out loud, or feel genuinely moved. Chances are, a human wrote it. Emotional writing isn’t just about using words like “heartbroken” or “joyful.” It’s about timing, pacing, and knowing exactly when to pull back and let the reader breathe.

AI can identify emotional patterns from text, but it cannot feel anything. It doesn’t know what it’s like to lose a job, fall in love, or sit in a hospital waiting room. So when it writes about those things, there is often something slightly off, like a recipe made by someone who has never tasted food.

Traits AI Simply Cannot Copy

There are specific writing traits that come naturally to humans but are genuinely difficult for AI systems to replicate. These aren’t minor details; they are the very core of what makes writing feel alive.

Cultural Sensitivity and Lived Experience

Good writing often draws from cultural context. A writer from a specific background can drop in a reference, a phrase, or a perspective that resonates deeply with a particular audience.

That kind of writing doesn’t come from reading millions of articles; it comes from actually living in a culture, understanding its jokes, its shared grief, and its unspoken rules.

AI often misses these signals. It may get the general idea right, but the texture and authentic specificity are usually missing. This is one reason readers from specific communities often feel that AI-written content aimed at them doesn’t quite land.

You can actually test how well AI catches up to human writing by running content through an AI detector free tool, which can flag writing that lacks the natural variation and cultural texture typical of a real human author.

Imperfection as a Style Choice

Here’s something surprising: humans sometimes break grammar rules on purpose, and it works beautifully. A sentence fragment for dramatic effect. A comma splice that speeds up the pace. A casual “anyway” thrown in to shift the tone mid-paragraph.

These “mistakes” aren’t errors; they are intentional stylistic tools. Human writers know when to bend the rules because they understand the feel of language, not just the logic of it.

AI is trained on structure. It tends to write in an informationally dense, noun-heavy style. AI models use present participial clauses at two to five times the rate of human writers, creating a detectable pattern that feels over-structured to careful readers.

Humor That Actually Lands

Writing funny content is arguably one of the hardest things to do well. Real humor depends on timing, subverted expectations, and a shared understanding of context. When a human writer cracks a joke, it usually comes from a place of lived absurdity, a moment where reality was so strange that laughing was the only logical response.

AI-generated humor tends to be either too obvious or completely flat. It identifies patterns in what has been funny before and tries to reproduce them. But humor is situational, personal, and rooted in the unexpected. AI’s approach is more like a formula than a feeling.

Why These Traits Still Matter in 2026

With roughly 86% of content ranking on Google still written by humans in 2026, it’s clear that both readers and search engines respond more positively to authentic human writing. These traits aren’t just about creativity; they have real, measurable SEO value too.

How Readers Pick Up on the Difference

Readers may not always be able to name what feels off about AI writing, but they sense it almost immediately. A piece that reads too cleanly, with no personality and no surprises, often leads to shorter time-on-page and lower engagement overall. Human writing keeps people reading because it feels like a real conversation between two people who actually understand each other.

Some of the most telling signals readers pick up on include:

  • A writing rhythm that feels natural and unpredictable
  • Relatable examples drawn from real everyday life
  • Opinions that are clearly personal and not generic
  • A tone that shifts slightly, the way a real voice does in conversation

The Role of Context and Timing

Humans can write in response to current events, shifting moods, and cultural moments in a way that feels genuinely timely. A human writer covering a trending topic can inject real reaction, real confusion, and real excitement into their work. AI lacks that spontaneity; it works from what it already knows, not from what it’s currently experiencing or feeling in the moment.

This is especially visible in opinion writing, personal essays, and anything that requires a writer to take a clear, confident stance on something new or evolving.

Conclusion

AI writing tools are impressive, and they continue to get better with each passing year. But the gap between AI-generated text and truly human writing is still very real. Personal voice, lived emotion, cultural depth, intentional imperfection, and genuine humor are traits that continue to set human writers apart. These aren’t things that can be easily automated, and they remain the foundation of writing that truly connects with people on a level that goes well beyond just information.

Entire AEW design team at Jazwares laid off

Wrestling figure collector and podcast host Kyle Peterson said on his YouTube show that the team working on AEW action figures at Jazwares were all laid off this past week.

“Late Friday I got word that the entire AEW Jazwares team over there at Jazwires were laid off,” he said, adding there was writing on the wall as speculation mounted if the relationship between the two companies was coming to an end.

“By eliminating that entire team at Jazwares, I think the answer is out there: AEW/Jazwares line is officially done,” he added.

He said that there could be three or four new action figures which were in the pipeline released “but for all intents and purposes, the relationship is done.”

Jazwares has been producing AEW action figures since 2020.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson helps roasts Kevin Hart live on Netflix

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was one of the many guests at the Roast of Kevin Hart yesterday which streamed live on Netflix.

The People’s Champ has not been on WWE television since the Elimination Chamber last year and doesn’t often do these things, but Hart is one of his closest friends and frequent acting buddy.

Johnson did his “Finally…” line when he was introduced but instead finished with “Finally…Daddy’s home!”

Johnson, just like everyone else, did not hold back when it came to roasting Hart.

“Just last week I had a Kevin Hart tattoo…on my cock…life size too,” Johnson said while explaining his love to Hart. He also tried to show it to him but Hart told him to “Stop it and get the f*ck outta here.”

The event was held at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California and is available to stream on Netflix.

Report: Asuka remains part of the WWE roster, expected to return

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting through his Select service that Asuka signed a long-term deal with the company in 2024 and remains part of the WWE roster.

The former champion is expected to take a leave of absence and be off television for a while, hence the goodbyes from the weekend at Backlash, but Sapp adds that those in the company believe that she will be back and has not wrestled her final match yet.

While the length of the contract was not revealed, it is believed to be a five-year deal, although contracts in today’s TKO world don’t mean much as they have already started restructuring previously-signed contract to benefit the company.

The New Day also were on new long-term deals, signed last year, and were asked to take a pay cut as part of the restructured deal, a deal which both Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods refused which led to their departure.

Identity of Minihausen at Backlash

The Minihausen who tag teamed with Danhasuen at Backlash on Saturday was Mascarita Dorada.

Dorada worked for WWE in the past between 2013 and 2016 as El Torito, accompanying Los Matadores and also stepping in the ring on many occasions. In AAA, the 44-year-old uses the name Mascarita Sagrada and last appeared in the promotion in March.

The unveil by Danhausen, who said that his mystery tag team partner likes “money,” did not go over very well at fans with fans inside the arena but by the end of the match, Dorada managed to win them over with his impressive display.

Cena explains the reasoning behind the John Cena Classic

John Cena took to X to explain the reasoning behind the John Cena Classic following his announcement on Saturday night at Backlash.

Cena said that when he’s asked to give advice in WWE, he often replies with “be authentic,” “do not fear failure,” and “know your why.”

“The John Cena Classic may not be perfect by any means yet it’s authentically me (I am not perfect either) and reflects my values and beliefs,” Cena wrote. “I’m aware that there is the risk it might be a total failure and I’m not afraid of that and believe it’s still worth stepping ‘in the arena.'”

He continued to explain the “why” for him in WWE now that he is retired.

“My ‘why’ in WWE is to consistently be as useful as possible for as long as possible, with my in ring career at an end, my ‘why’ is to use whatever energy or relevance I have left in hopes to create a launchpad of opportunity for all talent to show their skills while simultaneously creating a unique experience for our dedicated fan base,” Cena wrote.

“At the very least.. we all learn something. At the very best.. we all create something. I’m ready for wherever the road takes us. Thank you WWE for this opportunity,” he added, noting that more details will come as they “figure all this out!”

The fun side of online slot games: reels, themes, sounds, and surprises

Have You Ever Asked Why Online Slot Games Feel So Colourful, Active, And Full Of Small Surprises?

The answer is simple. Modern online slot games combine spinning reels, creative themes, smooth animation, sound effects, and bonus features to create a lively digital entertainment experience.

While the gameplay often begins with a simple spin button, today’s online slots include many playful details that help make every round feel exciting for adults in places where online gaming is allowed.

Reels are the centre of the gameplay

Reels are one of the first things players notice in online slot games.

Reels Spin During Every Round

Reels are the vertical columns that move after the spin button is pressed. Most online slot games use three, five, or more reels, depending on the style of the game.

After the reels stop spinning, symbols appear in different positions. The game then checks paylines or matching systems according to the game rules.

This easy structure helps beginners understand the gameplay step by step.

Animated Reels Feel Smooth And Modern

Modern online สล็อต slot games use reels with smooth movement and clear timing.

Some reels slow down gradually before stopping, while symbols may glow, bounce, shine, or expand after landing.

These visual effects help make every spin feel more lively and entertaining.

Themes Make Online Slots Feel More Creative

Themes are one of the biggest reasons online slot games feel playful and colourful.

Different Themes Create Different Worlds

Online slot games may use themes based on fantasy adventures, sports, music, festivals, food, nature, travel, animals, or treasure hunts.

A fantasy-themed game may show magical castles, glowing forests, or mythical creatures. A sports-themed game may use stadiums, trophies, and cheering crowds. A festival-themed game may show fireworks and celebration lights.

These themes help players choose games based on mood and personal interests.

Backgrounds Support The Theme

Modern online slots often use detailed backgrounds behind the reels.

A beach-themed game may show ocean waves and tropical colours. A nature-themed game may use waterfalls and mountains. A music-themed game may use stage lights and concert visuals.

These details help make the game feel visually complete.

Symbols Bring The Game To Life

Symbols are the pictures displayed on the reels during gameplay.

Standard Symbols Match The Theme

Most online slot games use symbols connected to the main game style.

A fruit-themed game may use cherries and lemons. A sports game may use medals and footballs. A fantasy game may use magical objects or adventure icons.

This matching design keeps the gameplay easy to understand.

Special Symbols Add More Excitement

Modern online slots often include special symbols such as wilds, scatters, and bonus icons.

A wild symbol can often replace regular symbols according to the game rules. Scatter symbols may trigger free spins or bonus rounds. Bonus icons may open separate gameplay sections.

These symbols usually use glowing colours, animation, or good effects so players can notice them easily.

Sound Effects Make Gameplay More Fun

Sound is one of the most important parts of modern online สล็อตเว็บตรง slot entertainment.

Sound Effects Guide Gameplay

A reel sound may play when the spin starts. Another sound may appear when symbols land. A stronger sound may play when bonus features begin.

These sounds work like signals and help players follow the gameplay comfortably.

Music Supports The Mood

Different online slot themes often use different music styles.

A fantasy-themed game may use magical sounds. A sports-themed game may use energetic music. A nature-themed game may use calm background audio.

When sound and visuals work together, the gameplay feels smoother and more immersive.

Bonus Features Add More Surprises

Modern online slot games often include extra features beyond simple spinning reels.

Free Spins Create Extra Gameplay

Free spins are extra rounds awarded through feature rules.

During free spin rounds, games may use brighter visuals, fresh sounds, or different backgrounds. This helps the feature section feel separate from the normal gameplay.

Multipliers Add More Action

A multiplier is a number that can increase a result value according to the game rules.

For example, a 2x multiplier means the value is counted two times.

Many online slot games show multipliers with glowing numbers or animated effects.

Bonus Rounds Feel Interactive

Some online slot games include bonus rounds with separate gameplay screens, moving visuals, or theme-based actions.

These features help online slots feel more playful and dynamic.

Animation Makes Online Slots Feel Alive

Animation is one reason modern online slot games feel more exciting than classic slot machines.

Symbols React During Gameplay

Symbols may glow, expand, bounce, or shine after landing on the reels.

These movements help make the gameplay feel active and modern.

Feature Effects Highlight Important Moments

When bonus features begin, the screen may use moving lights, animated transitions, glowing reels, or changing colours.

These visual effects help players notice exciting moments during gameplay.

Mobile Gaming Made Online Slots Easy To Access

Many players now enjoy online slot games on smartphones and tablets.

Touch Controls Feel Simple

Players can tap the spin button, adjust sound, open the paytable, and check settings using touch controls.

Buttons may light up or move slightly after being touched, making gameplay feel smooth and responsive.

Games Work Across Different Devices

Online slot games often work on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.

This flexibility helped online slots become part of modern digital entertainment.

The Paytable Helps Beginners Understand Features

The paytable is one of the most useful sections in any online slot game.

The Paytable Explains Symbols And Bonuses

The paytable explains symbol values, paylines, wilds, scatters, free spins, multipliers, and bonus details.

Reading it first helps beginners understand how the game works.

Demo Mode Helps Players Practice

Many online slot games offer a demo mode, where available.

Demo mode allows players to explore reels, symbols, and features without using real money.

This helps beginners learn gameplay step by step.

Responsible Play Supports Better Entertainment

Online slot games are made for adults in places where online gaming is allowed.

A Simple Entertainment Budget Helps

People often keep budgets for movies, shopping, travel, and apps. The same organised idea can support online gaming habits.

Balanced Screen Time Is Important

Taking breaks and keeping balanced screen time can help players enjoy digital entertainment comfortably alongside daily activities.

Final Thoughts On The Fun Side Of Online Slots

Online slot games combine colourful reels, creative themes, sound effects, animated visuals, and bonus surprises to create lively digital entertainment experiences. These elements help transform simple spins into playful and visually engaging gameplay.

For beginners, the best way to understand online slots is simple. Learn the reels and symbols first, read the paytable carefully, explore bonus features slowly, and enjoy gameplay step by step. Once these basics become clear, online slot games become easier to enjoy as digital entertainment for adults in allowed locations.

Backlash 2026 pick’em report

Backlash 2026

Hey everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA with yet another installment of the Pick’em report. Tonight, AT BACKLASH, it’s time to run it back. It was only THREE WEEKS ago when we crowned a new WOPC Champion (yours truly!), and just like that…I am back to defend the title against Colin.

With most cards that have 5-6 matches, Colin and I have used the tried and true “Confidence Pool” pick’em system, and that’s what we are going to do here…with one bonus question included! What are we waiting for?! LFG!!!

ON WITH THE PICKS!

Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker (with Paul Heyman)

Magnum: This match will open the show, and will be featured on one of the major ESPN networks (similar to Mania). The fans watching are in for a treat – Bron Brekker’s health issues really put a wrench in his WrestleMania plans, but I see Bron getting back on track with a victory over Seth Rollins. Only putting 2 points on it, though.

Colin: I think it’s time for Bron Breakker to get that big win and it will come tonight. Rollins can eat an L and still be strong but Bron can’t afford it. I’m hoping for a clean win for the former IC champion Bron Breakker here. Woof woof. 1 point.

WWE United States Championship
Trick Williams (c) (with Lil Yachty) vs. Sami Zayn

Magnum: That segment last night…man, that was weird. Sami and Truth together were hilarious, though. As for this match, I think Sami is still trying to figure himself out with this heel turn. I feel like Trick will be moving on after retaining the title in this match. Give me Trick to win and I’ll put 4 points on it.

Colin: The whole Gingerbread Man thing is sooooooo stupid. Can’t believe they actually had a f’n funeral for him on Smackdown last night. Feels like Vince McMahon is booking this shit again. Anyway, there’s no way they’re taking the belt off of Trick so soon after winning it. I give Sami Zayn zero chance in this match, so give me a Trick win. 5 points.

Iyo Sky vs. Asuka

Magnum: This is going to be a tremendous match. Don’t be surprised if this one steals the show. I feel like it’s not the same without Kairi being involved, but again this will be awesome. I’ll take Iyo to win, and I’ll put 3 points on it.

Colin: I still have no idea why they released Kairi Sane, stuff like this boggles my mind. I hope she can make an appearance tonight and finish off the storyline, even though the payoff would have been her vs Asuka. But anyway, I’m picking an Iyo Sky win and some interference from Sane, costing Asuka the match. 2 points.

Danhausen and ??? vs. The Miz and Kit Wilson
Bonus Question (1 Bonus Point): Who is the Mystery Tag Team Partner?

Magnum: Okay, let’s take care of the bonus question first. I think CM Punk would be a great choice for this match, but it doesn’t make sense to make the former World Champion to come back in this role. All the rumors have been swirling around Jelly Roll…and while I feel like that would be a step backwards for Danhausen, I also can’t see it being Punk. Danhausen and Jelly Roll win, 5 points on it.

Colin: I just hope it’s not Jelly Roll. PLEASE GOD. I would be okay with the mystery partner being either CM Punk or even Oba Femi. Femi would be cool and picking him as the partner. I don’t get the Danhausen gimmick, but a lot of people do so I’m in the minority here and he’s super over so whatever. Danhausen and mystery partner win, 3 points.

World Heavyweight Championship
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu

Magnum: Fatu said something interesting on Smackdown last night – he promised he wouldn’t lose. I actually believe him. I am convinced that this match is not going to end with a decided winner. I think there will be some kind of crazy spot or stunt that leads to a rematch. I believe, when push comes to shove, Roman is somehow going to retain, but I am only putting 1 point on the OTC. This feud is not over yet.

Colin: I’m surprised they pulled the trigger on this so soon. But Fatu deserves a main event spot and he’s great and all that…but he’s not winning the title tonight. Somehow, someway, Reigns will pull it off and everyone will acknowledge the OTC. #AndStill with 4 points.

Alright everybody! That’s going to do it for us at the Pick’em report. Enjoy Backlash and we’ll see you next time right here on Wrestling-Online. @TheMagnumDA signing off.
