Kris Statlander talks All Out match, winning the AEW Women’s title, Jade Cargill, and more

Kris Statlander sat down with Chris Van Vliet at West Coast Creative Studio in Hollywood, California to discuss winning the AEW Women’s Championship and if she felt she was ready, her nickname “The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien”, her violent match with Willow Nightingale at All Out, landing on a bed of nails in Blood and Guts, her WWE appearance and why it didn’t lead to more, bringing Jade Cargill’s TBS Title reign to an end, and more!

A lot of fans would say that this was a long time coming. About six years in AEW, you became the Women’s Champ.

“I guess I kind of agree. I feel like you shouldn’t always necessarily need to brand yourself as a champion in order to be worthy of having this memorable career, so to speak. I feel like actually winning the championship kind of came at a really weird time for me. It almost didn’t feel like it was the right time, because the way Toni Storm went about making the match was like, You, you, you, let’s go do it, and we’re like, okay, so it’s kind of like taking advantage of an opportunity. Meanwhile, I was still getting harassed by the Deathriders and trying to sneak my way out of dealing with them. And then the up and down situation with Willow, and then me and Harley were kind of a thing. It was like a really, really weird time where I was very unsure of what I wanted to do and what path I wanted to take. Now I’m in this opportunity to win this belt I’ve never gotten a chance to win, and I haven’t wrestled four in years at this point, so it’s like, I’m not gonna not take the opportunity, just because in my mind, things are all over the place. But at the same time, it felt really weird. It was just kind of like, well, I guess we’re here, so okay, and now it’s just kind of been an uphill battle trying to cement myself and find myself, while also putting myself and showing everyone who I am as the World Champion. So it’s been a really odd time.”

Did you feel you weren’t ready to win the championship?

“No, I felt I was ready. It’s really more just like a mental [feeling of] I don’t know if everyone is ready to see me in this position, if that makes sense. Because I feel like fans were always hesitant to like me a little bit still, because of the fact that I turned on my one of my best friends and I and I punched Orange Cassidy in the face, and I murdered Willow for a good couple of months, so it’s hard to kind of and then I was like, No, guys, I messed up, and now I’m going to try and be better. And everyone’s like, Okay, but why? And I’m like, trust me. I know what I’m doing. I feel bad, and I never really did anything to gain everyone’s trust back. So it’s more I feel like people are happy for me. They think that I deserve it, but people can be like, ‘Oh, I’m happy for this person, they deserve it, blah, blah, blah…’ and then don’t really care what happens after they get to the top. So now I’m trying to rebuild my friendships and prove to everyone that I’m worthy of being a champion, and also keep telling myself like, No, you deserve to be here. You’re ready for this. It’s fine. You don’t have to worry about it. But I have a lot of emotions in my head about this, so it’s been a little bit of an internal battle, even though I feel very confident in my abilities.”

We have to talk about this wild match at All Out with Willow. What was the most painful thing in this match?

“I know what you’re expecting me to say, and you know what? This wasn’t a physical pain thing. This is an emotional pain thing. At one point in the match, we took out the chains where we tied ourselves to each other, and I tied hers to her, and I was having trouble tying mine to me, and I just head-butted her to kind of keep her down. And I was like, I’m so sorry, because that wasn’t an initial idea of something that might happen. So that was probably the worst thing that I did. I was like, Oh, I had to just keep you down. That wasn’t my favorite thing I’ve ever done, but you gotta eat up the time somehow, while I was struggling with my wrist. So that one probably hurt me the most emotionally.”

What was the overall idea you guys had going into that match? Because it was violent.

“Yeah, I think we really wanted to just push the boundary of what we’ve been allowed to do. We got really lucky that we were able to do a light tube spot, because that’s not something with fans around and the glass. It’s very dangerous. But doing it on the stage and kind of away from the fans, that was a good way to kind of cover our bases. Also probably won’t be able to do that anytime in the future, just because it’s a shatter risk, and we don’t want to put any fans in harm’s way at all.”

Was that your first time taking light tubes?

“Yes, actually, yeah. And it was not as bad as I thought. It did kind of burn a little bit. There’s a lot of things in wrestling that don’t look very fun. Obviously, I’m sure the other spot you’re thinking of is the splits on the thumbtacks. I will say I was thinking about that for months. I had that spot in my head for months. I wanted to do it so bad, and it really wasn’t that bad, because it was mostly my thigh. So we’re good.”

Tacks don’t look fun!

“Yeah, it’s not fun. It’s not as bad as you would think. I think the worst tack thing I actually did it to Marina, where I barefoot dropped her onto the tacks. That’s probably the most painful tack thing you could take. And I didn’t even do that one. So kudos to her.”

In Blood and Guts you fell onto a bed of nails!

“Again, not as bad as I thought it was gonna be.”

The photo you posted later looked bad.

“Yeah, I think I still have some scars on my lower back from it, but I like scars. So I was like, yes! I think they’re cool. I’ve been dying to get a face scar. Have something happen. Get a nice, cool face scar. That’s my wish. That’s my dream.”

Things get personal as Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley trade insults on social media

Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley are upping their game on social media as both took things to a personal level after a simple tweet by Ripley opened a can of worms.

After winning the Elimination Chamber, Ripley posted on X, “Guess…I’m that bitch,” a line that is often used by the WWE Women’s champion and her WrestleMania 42 opponent.

“No boo. You were the section option. @ me next time so I see it,” Cargill responded.

“All you seem to do is talk… And that’s literally it,” Ripley fired back, posting two old videos of Cargill doing interviews saying she’d like to wrestle Ripley.

“Talk??? Like the hours you spend talking to creative,” Cargill responded.

Ripley said that Jade is now talking out of her ass because everything she’s saying is bullshit.

“Don’t spread lies on my name you dumb B,” Ripley wrote.

Chelsea Green then entered the chat and while she never mentioned Cargill by name, she wrote, “Rhea is proof that you can be kind, respectful and the most talented wrestler in the world.”

Cargill fired back at Green, telling her that there’s no point to even go and embarrass her on X.

“You always have something to say about everything,” Cargill responded.

That got a chuckle out of Green, who responded, “Damn. Hit dogs really DO holler!! WOOF WOOF.”

Piper Niven came to Green’s rescue and wondered why Cargill makes everything about her.

“Contrary to your belief, the world doesn’t actually revolve around you. No point to even embarrass you on this app, give you enough ring time and you’ll do it yourself,” Niven responded.

Cargill told her that the discussion was “above your pay grade” and to relax.

“Loyalty is priceless, something you wouldn’t know anything about. Besides, I’d beat the brakes off you for free,” Niven responded.

Things calmed down since then, but Ripley posted on Instagram a story with the words, “Not having fun. Not friends. Learn to work and never lie to defame someone’s real human character by “breaking the 4th wall.”

If these women are working everyone, they are doing a fantastic job. Whatever it is, it is working to get people talking about their WrestleMania match.

How RNG Technology Safeguards Integrity in Live Casino Games

In the modern online gambling ecosystem, trust is currency. Players engaging with digital entertainment – from classic slots to immersive live dealer tables – expect outcomes to be random, unbiased, and verifiable. This expectation becomes even more critical in hybrid formats that combine streaming and algorithmic mechanics, such as Ice Fishing live, where real-time visuals intersect with backend probability engines.

As niche titles like the Ice Fishing game continue to gain traction across regulated markets, questions about fairness and outcome generation inevitably arise. Unlike purely physical table games, many contemporary formats integrate Random Number Generator systems beneath the surface. Understanding how RNG technology functions, and how it is audited, offers clarity on how fairness is preserved, even in visually dynamic environments like Ice Fishing.

What RNG Really Means in a Live Gaming Environment

A Random Number Generator (RNG) is a cryptographic or algorithmic system designed to produce unpredictable sequences of numbers. In online gambling, these numbers determine outcomes: reel positions in a slot, card distribution in digital blackjack, multiplier triggers in bonus rounds, or catch results in themed titles such as Ice Fishing.

It is important to distinguish between traditional live dealer games and RNG-assisted live formats. In a standard live blackjack table streamed from a studio, physical cards drive the result. However, in hybrid titles – particularly those featuring animated overlays, dynamic multipliers, or gamified catch mechanics – the RNG operates server-side to determine outcomes before they are visually rendered.

For example, in an Ice Fishing game structured around catching fish with variable multipliers, the RNG determines:

  • Which fish appears on a given spin
  • The payout multiplier attached to that fish
  • The probability weighting of high-value outcomes such as 1000x or 5000x events
  • The triggering of bonus mechanics or special features

The visual animation seen by the player is simply a graphical representation of a result that has already been mathematically determined.

The Technical Backbone of Fairness

Modern RNG systems used by licensed providers are not simplistic randomizers. They rely on either Pseudorandom Number Generators (PRNGs) seeded with high-entropy inputs or, in some cases, hardware-based True Random Number Generators (TRNGs). In regulated jurisdictions, these systems must meet strict statistical and cryptographic standards.

Before deployment, every RNG-powered title – including variants inspired by Ice Fishing – undergoes independent laboratory testing. Accredited testing bodies such as eCOGRA, iTech Labs, or GLI analyze millions of simulated rounds to verify:

  • Return to Player (RTP) percentages
  • Volatility index
  • Distribution consistency
  • Absence of bias patterns
  • Resistance to manipulation

Only after certification can a provider legally release the game on licensed platforms. This ensures that whether a player chooses to play for fun in an Ice Fishing slot game demo free mode or wager real money, the mathematical model remains identical.

Equally important is server-side isolation. Outcomes are generated on secure servers controlled by the provider – not by the player’s device, browser, or app. This eliminates the possibility of local tampering, whether through modified APK files, predictor tools, or unofficial downloads. Any claim that external software can influence an Ice Fishing result misunderstands how centralized RNG architecture functions.

In regulated environments, operators are also required to publish RTP data and maintain transparent bonus mechanics. This is especially relevant in gamified formats where visual excitement – large fish, explosive multipliers, evolving bonus wheels – could otherwise obscure the statistical structure of the game.

The role of RNG technology, therefore, is not merely to randomize outcomes but to mathematically guarantee independence between rounds. Each spin, cast, or betting action exists as a discrete probability event. Previous wins, losses, or betting patterns do not alter future results – a principle fundamental to fair gambling design.

Certification, Auditing, and Ongoing Compliance

RNG fairness is not a one-time validation process. Licensed providers operating online must submit their systems to continuous monitoring and periodic re-certification. The integrity of titles such as Ice Fishing depends on regulatory oversight as much as on mathematical design.

Independent testing laboratories do more than check theoretical payout percentages. They run long-term simulations, often billions of iterations, to confirm that statistical outputs align with declared RTP and volatility metrics. If a game advertises a 96% return, the simulated dataset must converge within acceptable deviation thresholds.

Beyond statistical testing, security audits evaluate encryption standards, server integrity, and data transmission protocols. Every spin, bet, and result is logged in encrypted format. This audit trail protects both the operator and the player, especially in real money environments where disputes may arise.

In hybrid formats marketed as live experiences additional transparency layers are often implemented. While the visual presentation may feel dynamic and interactive, the RNG outcome is timestamped and stored before animation playback begins. This sequencing prevents post-result manipulation and guarantees that neither studio staff nor platform operators can alter a finalized outcome.

Regulated platforms must also separate operational funds from player balances. Even when users deposit funds to play Ice Fishing or other slots, the operator cannot adjust game probability to offset payout cycles. Licensing authorities enforce strict separation policies to preserve structural fairness.

Ultimately, RNG technology removes discretionary control from digital gambling outcomes. Whether implemented in traditional slots or interactive formats, fairness is defined by statistical independence, audited certification, and regulatory accountability. Trust in modern online games is therefore grounded not in presentation, but in verifiable mathematical integrity.

WWE coverage in Austria, Germany, and Japan moving to Netflix in April

Netflix will soon be adding three more countries for complete WWE coverage as Austria, Germany, and Japan join the streaming service on April 1 following the expiration of WWE’s local media rights deals.

For Austria and Germany, WWE programming airs on ProSieben MAXX and they still had a running version of the WWE Network for premium live events and other shows. The WWE Network in Germany will shut down when WWE launches on Netflix.

In Japan, all WWE programming airs on ABEMA, a popular streaming service in the country.

As previously announced, Italy will also join in April, and the country was rewarded with its first WWE PLE later in May.

TKO’s Mark Shapiro admits ESPN Unlimited pricing hurting WWE viewership

WWE ESPN

Mark Shapiro, the President and Chief Operating Officer of TKO Group, admitted yesterday that the ESPN Unlimited pricing is hurting their fan base, but remains committed especially knowing that ESPN Unlimited will soon be fully integrated with all major cable and streaming companies.

Speaking at the annual Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, Shapiro said they’re playing the “long game” with ESPN, describing the streaming service as the ultimate package for a sports fan.

He said that the situation will get better for them once Dish, YouTube, and a few other operators fully integrate their service for free.

Shapiro described the $29.99 monthly fee as “somewhat prohibitive,” especially in today’s economy, and makes it difficult for the low and middle income earners to afford.

“They have to get those deals done. Until they do, that will affect our audience,” he said.

Shapiro said that they had a notable increase for the Elimination Chamber compared to Wrestlepalooza and while they’re not where they were a year ago with Netflix or Peacock, numbers remain encouraging.

WrestleMania 42: Who’s gonna win?

WrestleMania 42

WrestleMania stands as the pinnacle of professional wrestling; a richly storied spectacle that has grown from its humble beginnings in 1985 into what WWE now markets as “The Super Bowl of Sports Entertainment.” The “Showcase of the Immortals” has become WWE’s flagship event, featuring cross-over celebrity appearances, show-stopping matches, and career-defining moments that resonate far beyond the squared circle. WrestleMania has evolved into an annual global phenomenon, blending athletic competition, dramatic storytelling, and mainstream pop culture.

In 2026, WWE celebrates the 42nd edition of WrestleMania, famously dubbed WrestleMania Vegas, as it returns to one of its most electrifying locations: the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. WrestleMania 42 is set for April 18 and 19, 2026, and will once again span two massive nights of premium live entertainment and world-class wrestling.

While we wait to learn more about the matches that will comprise the event, the bookmakers have already announced, as we will see later, the names of the favorites to win. If you want to take advantage of the experts’ predictions to place a few bets, bet365 offers attractive bonuses that will help you minimize losses and play with complete security.

A legacy etched in the stars: WrestleMania’s Hall of Greats

Over more than four decades, countless legends have walked to WrestleMania, forging legacies that define not only their careers but entire eras of WWE history. In that tradition stand names whose WrestleMania records have become part of wrestling lore. One of the most enduring stories in WrestleMania history centers around The Undertaker, whose legendary streak of 21-0 victories became synonymous with WrestleMania itself.

This remarkable run, beginning at WrestleMania VII and culminating at WrestleMania 29, was long thought untouchable. A feat only bested when fellow legend Brock Lesnar finally ended it. Before his retirement, Undertaker amassed a total of 25 WrestleMania wins overall, making him arguably the most iconic performer in the event’s history.

Another cornerstone of WrestleMania lore is Hulk Hogan, who headlined the final match of eight WrestleManias; more than any other performer in history. Following close behind is Roman Reigns, the dominant figure of the modern era, who has now appeared in at least seven WrestleMania main events and continues to shape the company’s narrative.

Looking ahead: favorites and storylines for WrestleMania 42

As WrestleMania 42 approaches, the spotlight shines on a new generation of contenders and established stars poised to write their own WrestleMania stories.

Gunther, who’s often hailed for his purist, hard-hitting technique, enters the Grandest Stage of Them All as the standout favorite. After achieving a historic reign as the longest-ever WWE Intercontinental Champion and capturing the World Heavyweight Championship in the 2024/25 season, Gunther is positioned as the champion to beat at WrestleMania 42. His combination of brutal in-ring style and commanding presence makes him a compelling centerpiece of this year’s event.

A name that continues to gather buzz among analysts and fans alike is Bron Breakker. As a breakout talent under 30 with a powerful wrestling pedigree, many insiders expect Breakker to “pass the torch” onto his generation by challenging a seasoned veteran such as Brock Lesnar or a household legend like John Cena at WrestleMania 42.

No preview of WrestleMania would be complete without mentioning Cody Rhodes, “The American Nightmare.” After becoming one of WWE’s most recognizable figures, Rhodes finds himself not only contending for top titles but also serving as one of the company’s emotional cornerstones. In 2026, the question isn’t whether he’ll win; it’s whether he can withstand the relentless charge from WWE’s young lions eager to seize the moment.

WrestleMania 42 promises to be another unforgettable chapter in WWE history. Whether fans are tuning in for the thrill of title matches, the rise of future icons, or the echoes of legends past, this year’s event is poised to deliver once again.

Penta wins the WWE Intercontinental title on Raw

Penta won his first gold in WWE last night on Raw after he beat Dominik Mysterio for the WWE Intercontinental title, a few segments after Mysterio was “cursed” by Danhausen in a backstage segment.

Mysterio wanted the help of his fellow Judgment Day members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh at ringside and at one point during the closing moments of the match, Mysterio asked for the bell hammer at ringside. McDonagh wanted to help, but Balor told him that Mysterio needs to win on his own and they shouldn’t help him.

Penta then took care of both of them with a dive and followed with a Mexican Destroyer on Mysterio for the pinfall victory.

This ended Mysterio’s 93-day reign as champion, having won it from John Cena at Survivor Series.

Raw preview for 03/02/2026

Raw

The fallout from the Elimination Chamber takes place tonight live on Raw on Netflix as the road to WrestleMania now has no more speed bumps along the way.

The number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight title, Roman Reigns, will be in the house to confront the champion CM Punk.

Punk’s wife and new WWE Women’s Intercontinental champion AJ Lee will also be in the house as Becky Lynch threatens to once again boycott the show.

Plus, Gunther takes on Dragon Lee and Dominik Mysterio defends the Intercontinental title against Penta, and Adam Pearce addresses Seth Rollins’ return.
