RAW rating for 11/12/2012

RAW took a nice hit in viewers on Monday as the show did just 3,835,000 viewers with a 2.7 rating, a pretty bad number considering they were coming off a pay-per-view.

Hour one scored 3,873,000 viewers, hour two did 3,923,000 viewers, and hour three dropped to 3,710,000 viewers. The viewership in hour three was the second most lowest since RAW went to three hours on July 23.

This week’s show was down 360,000 viewers from last week. (Ratings compiled by Nielsen Media Research and put online by PWInsider.com)

WWE Diva Kaitlyn arrested at Smackdown tapings

WWE Diva Kaitlyn was arrested at the Van Andel Arena yesterday, the site of the Smackdown tapings according to TMZ.COM.

The 26 year old was picked up by Kent County Sheriff officials due to an old speeding ticket that she didn’t pay last time she was in the area. The Sheriff department hit the scene immediately after Kaitlyn showed up for work with a warrant and took her to booking. She was released on a $315 bond afterward.

“During a previous visit to Michigan, I was cited for a traffic violation. I am fully cooperating with authorities to resolve the matter,” Kaitlyn told TMZ in a statement.

You can see her mugshot – which probably is one of the prettiest mugshots ever – below.

Monday Night Raw TV Report for 11/19/2012

Tonight, we are over 24 hours removed from Survivor Series and the biggest questions: did C.M. Punk retain his WWE Championship and can make it past a year? How about the World Heavyweight Championship – was Big Show able to walk out with the title, or did Sheamus gain some revenge and the belt back. Or even better, did Dolph Ziggler pull a swerve and cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase to win him his second World Championship?

I can’t wait, let’s find out right now!

Monday Night Raw Report for November 19th, 2012 – “1 Year”

Introduction Segment: Recap

Yes and Yes! With the still images on the screen depicting the two champions, C.M. Punk and The Big Show kept their titles! Albeit not without controversy, as during the World Championship match, Sheamus accidentally Brogue-kicked the referee, while in the WWE title bout, three unknown men put Ryback through a table just as he was about to win the Championship, and allowing C.M. Punk to continue his streak.

Segment #1: Arena Promo

Ryback is out right away, ticked off and wanting to hunt down the mystery partners of C.M. Punk. He challenges all of them to come on down, but instead receives Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. She tells Ryback he had his chances, and if he causes any “chaos”, then he “will be subject to a fine or suspension.” Guerrero has other plans for Ryback, and orders him to face Tensai right now.

Match #1: Single – Ryback VS. Tensai

The two behemoths lock up to begin, with Ryback punching away at Tensai’s head into the corner. He drops Tensai with a clothesline, but Tensai returns the favor and splashes him in the corner too. Ryback counters a run with a Lou Thesz press and head-slam. Despite initially blocking it, Ryback gets double-chokeslammed and ground-Senton splashed.

Ryback reverses another run attempt into a powerslam, and starts to get momentum. Huge spinebuster, as Ryback is measuring Tensai, then pushes him over the top rope with a clothesline. Following another inside the ring, Ryback manages to pick up Tensai and drop him with the Shell Shock marching Samoan Drop for the victory!

Winner via Pinfall: Ryback

Segment #2: Backstage Promo

Sheamus is seen yelling at a referee about the finish to his match last night.

Later tonight, WWE Champion C.M. Punk will celebrate his WWE Championship streak continuing past one year.

Up next, Wade Barrett will challenge Kofi Kingston for the Intercontinental Championship.

Match #2: Single – Wade Barrett VS. Kofi Kingston

Kofi kicks away at Barrett’s thighs to get an early advantage, then drops him with a jumping-spinning-elbow. Kofi leaps onto Wade in the corner and punches him, then takes him down with an uppercut. Barrett counters with an elbow-to-the-head and takes control. He dumps Kingston to the outside with a clothesline for a break.

Back live, Barrett has Kofi in a grounding side headlock to wear down Kingston. Wade takes the fight to the outside, slamming Kofi’s head onto the steel steps. Back in the ring, Barrett continues to kick away and headbutt Kofi, then clamping on a half-camel-clutch. Kingston reverses a slam-grab with a sunset-flip for a near-fall, then catches Wade with a calf-kick.

Kofi pounds away, then chops and dropkicks Barrett down. Boom drop legdrop delivered then runs at Wade, right into the tilt-a-whirl side-slam. Barrett covers but only gets two! Kofi fends off Wade again and flies with a high-crossbody for another two-count. Wade grabs Kofi’s head and rakes his eyes on the ropes, then spins him around with the harsh elbow/forearm to the head for the 1 – 2 – 3!

Winner via Pinfall: Wade Barrett

Segment #3: Recap

Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole go over the main event from Survivor Series, in which three rogue NXT Wrestlers – Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins, slammed Ryback through the announce table and allowed WWE Champion C.M. Punk to retain his title.

They also take a look at “rogue referee” Brad Maddox via video footage of his promo and what he did at Hell In The Cell, plus the match he had last week with Ryback.

Segment #4: Locker Room Promo

Paul Heyman is toting C.M. Punk’s WWE Championship win and celebration with some local backstage crew. He knock’s on the “Straight-Edge” Superstar’s door and out comes C.M Punk, donned in a “I’m a Paul Heyman Guy” t-shirt.

Heyman gloats about his upcoming celebration, then Matt Striker interrupts. He asks about the controversial finish to his S.S. match, as well as possible alliance with Rollins, Ambrose, and Raines. Punk shoots him down, then when asked about Ryback, Heyman even invites him to the party. Punk cuts off Striker and wants a conversation with his manager instead. (Oops!)

Match #3: Single – Aksana VS. Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn rushes Aksana right away, but she chickens out, only for Kaitlyn to be suckered into a clothesline outside. Quick cover then a head-pound on the mat from Aksana. She manages to lock on an arm-stretch, hanging off the ropes a la Tajiri.

On the mat, Aksana has Kaitlyn’s arm wrapped behind her head, then punches at the cranium. Kaitlyn counters with a kick-to-the-gut then elbows and whirls her around by the head, twice! Kaitlyn with a running shoulder-tackle and gut-wrench knee-drop for the win!

Winner via Pinfall: Kaitlyn

Match #4: Single – “The Funkasaurus” Brodus Clay (with “The Funkadactyls” Naomi and Cameron) VS. United States Champion Antonio Cesaro

Elbow/collar tie-up with Brodus gaining control quickly. Cesaro counters with a headbutt and punches/kicks fiercely to bring the big-man down. Huge double-stomp from Antonio, but Clay ducks a clothesline and hits a headbutt. Running Splash in the corner sets up Brodus drop his body on him, but Cesaro moves and jumps off the second rope with a spinning uppercut. Antonio uses all his power to finish off Brodus with the Neutralizer cradle-faceplant!

Winner via Pinfall: United States Champion Antonio Cesaro

Segment #5: Make-A-Wish Foundation Promo

A montage of John Cena’s dedication to the children with life-threatening illnesses and special needs via the Make-A-Wish Foundation is aired. (Truly again, I say, no matter what you think of him as a wrestler/on-air character, the MAN John Cena deserves a lot of respect for his honest and caring nature towards this charity. I will always have an infinity amount of respect for him because of this.)

Segment #6: Arena Promo

Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero is out with a man and woman behind her. She is out to set the record straight, saying that she “would not lay a hand on a WWE Superstar.” She puts over Tamina Snuka for standing up for authority. She then turns over the microphone to the “eye witnesses,” Whitney Smith, who is a waitress at the hotel restaurant where “Cena and A.J. had their alleged business dinner.” She claims that Cena and A.J. were very, very friendly at dinner.

Her next witness is Doug Brady, who is a parking attendant. He says that Cena and A.J. were staying in a parked vehicle for about an hour, and he received a complaint from a dad in a family about what they had seen in the vehicle.

Before we can find out what that was (and I’ll give you just one guess!), A.J. marches down and shoots down these doctored rumors and video footage. A.J. tells Vickie to either fire her or “shut the hell up!” Guerrero then wants to show a controversial picture courtesy of Doug’s cell-phone, but John Cena also interrupts and stomps out.

Cena calls all this a load of garbage and crap, then tells Vickie if she wants something to talk about, watch this! Cena gives A.J. a passionate kiss, then A.J. returns with a full-on make-out session, until Dolph Ziggler runs out and attacks. He and Cena fight to the back, with A.J. looking mesmerized.

Later tonight, Sheamus will take on Damien Sandow, and up next it’s the 2 out of 3 falls match between Orton and Del Rio

Ads.

Match #5: Two out of Three Falls Single – Alberto Del Rio (with Ricardo Rodriguez) VS. “The Viper” Randy Orton

They walk around each other then Orton begins with punches. Clothesline out of the corner and a two-count. Del Rio kicks away and snapmare’s Orton, then kicks at his back. Orton fends off and hits a high-dropkick for two! Quick snap-suplex from Del Rio, then later hits a kick and a jumping armbar-breaker.

He sets up for the Cross-Armbreaker submission, but gets countered and tossed outside. Alberto snags Orton on the ropes then repeatedly slams Randy’s left arm against the ring post, despite Referee Mike Chioda ordering him to stop, so he gets disqualified.

Winner of Fall #1 Via Disqualification: Randy Orton

Commercials.

Back live, Alberto continues to work over Orton’s arm with an armbar. Randy struggles out of it and hits a backdrop. “The Viper” gets momentum, nailing a couple clotheslines then follows with a powerslam. Del Rio counters Orton, then manages to grapple him down with the Cross Armbreaker for the quick tap-out!

Winner of Fall #2 via Submission: Alberto Del Rio

(Tied 1 – 1)

Round three is underway, with Del Rio playing games knowing Orton’s left arm is hurt bad. Orton counters a corner-run with an over-the-top roll-up and nearfall! Del Rio measuring Randy, then hits the running enziguri for a two-count! Del Rio again sizing him up, and goes for a running clothesline but Orton reverses into his backbreaker. Rodriguez trips up Orton, but unfortunately in front of referee Chioda, so Ricardo is outa there!

This distraction allows Alberto to drive Orton down with the backstabber, but only gets a two-count! Alberto then mocks Randy’s “zoning up” and goes for his own R.K.O., but “The Viper” counters and slams his head to the mat with the slingshot-DDT. Orton tries the real R.K.O., but Alberto counters into the Cross Armbreaker again, and Orton reverses into a roll-up for two! Del Rio runs at him with the Enziguri, but Orton moves and takes him down with the R.K.O. for the victory!

Winner of Fall #3 and the match via Pinfall: Randy Orton

Segment #7: Locker Room Promo

John Cena may legitimately be injured, as a clip of him running after Dolph Ziggler earlier shows that he may have tweaked his knee/ankle. In the locker room, Cena is with A.J. getting his knee taped up.

Commercials.

Match #6: Two On One – Epico and Primo (with Rosa Mendes) VS. The Great Khali

Squash! Khali takes care of the cousins with a chop and Punjabi Plunge Double-Chokeslam, quickly. The main feature was Hornswoggle squirting Rosa with waters out of the flowers. (Pointless!)

Winner via Pinfall: The Great Khali

Segment #8: Backstage Promo

Paul Heyman is with the crew, going over the celebration for later tonight. He is happy with everything, then adds balloons to the list.

Up next, The Miz is in action.

Ads.

Match #7: Single – David Otunga VS. The Miz

Lock up with Otunga taking control and hammering away. Kicks in the corner, but Miz comes back with some of his own. David tosses Miz into the post then brings him back with a Russian Legsweep. Springboard elbow Otunga, then grasps on a grounding rear-chinlock. Miz fights out of it, but gets clotheslined and shoulder-tackled. Otunga delivers hard-fists to Miz’s chest then a clothesline and another grounding rear-chinlock.

Miz reverses an Irish Whip into a sunset flip for two, then another roll-up for another nearfall! Miz is now battling back with punches and the running corner clothesline. He’s setting up Otunga for a double axe-handle off the top-rope! Miz measures and delivers the Skull-Krushing Finale to get the 1 – 2 – 3!

Winner via Pinfall: The Miz

Commercials.

Segment #9: Arena Promo

Sheamus is out, carrying a well-dented chair, and wants to get something off his chest. At first, he was okay with losing to Big Show at Hell In The Cell, because it was just two guys fighting over a Championship. However, Sheamus took exception when Show attacked William Regal – Sheamus’ close friend – then used the referee in their Survivor Series match to block the Brogue Kick.

The smile is wiped from Sheamus’ face and he orders the World Heavyweight Champion to settle it. Big Show cautiously walks out, due to the “dozens and dozens of chair shots” by Sheamus at S.S. Show denies that they have something to settle, as he has defeated Sheamus twice now. They argue back and forth, with Show calling Sheamus “barbaric” for assaulting him with the chair, and then Sandow walks out to get his bout in.

Match #8: Single – “The Intellectual Savior Of The Masses” Damien Sandow VS. Sheamus

Lock up and pushing to the corner by Sheamus, until Damien orders him off via referee Charles Robinson. Sheamus, slams Sandow down with a side-headlock, until Damien shoves off and kicks Sheamus down in the corner. Sheamus counters with more punches and knees Damien in the corner, then runs at him with a shoulder-tackle.

Sandow rolls to the apron and punches Sheamus back. He tries a suplex, but is reversed by Sheamus into one of his own. Sheamus gains control now, standing on Damien’s arm, then later chucks him out of the ring by his beard!

Ads.

During the break, Sandow regained dominance by pressing Sheamus down on the mat. He locks on a rear-chinlock to wear down the Irishman. Sandow sets up Sheamus for the Elbow Of Disdain, but “Great White” jumps up and drops Damien with the Irish Curse backbreaker.

He follows that up with pounding on the chest against the ropes and a suplex off the apron to the canvas. Sheamus ascends the top rope and dives off with the Battering Ram shoulder-tackle. One “White Noise” later, plus a Brogue Kick, and Sheamus is your victor!

Winner via Pinfall: Sheamus

Segment #10: Office Promo

A.J. marches into confront Vickie Guerrero, however Tamina Snuka stops her. A.J. threatens that she will “get to know Tamina better in the very near future.” A.J. accuses Vickie of setting up Dolph to attack Cena, and demands that she does something about it. Vickie says “nothing,” then A.J. threatens she will take care of it instead.

Commercials.

Segment #11: Locker Room Promo

Despite warnings from Layla, A.J. barges into the guys’ locker room and demands to know “who the hell” Dolph Ziggler is. He cuts a promo on her, telling her that “girls like her, are a dime a dozen. You came from nothing and you came from nothing.”

He says that she latches on to any attention she is given, then whenever someone disappoints her, “you lose a piece of your pride and you’re nothing more than a shell of a women. Sad, weak pitiful. Face it A.J., you’re just trash.”

Dolph sits back down, then gets a flurry of arm-whalings by A.J. Cena quickly stops it (boy, that knee heeled fast!), and then engages in a big brawl with Ziggler, even knocking out a bathroom stall! “The Showoff” gets the best of him, as other referees and wrestlers have to pull him off, leaving Cena writhing in pain.

Ads.

Segment #12: Locker Room Promo

Josh Matthews tells us that John Cena is being looked at by trainers.

Match #9: Tag-Team – Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio VS. Tag-Team Champions “Team Hell-No” (Daniel Bryan and Kane) (Non-Title)

(NOTE: “The Primetime Players” Titus O’Neil and Darren Young speak fantastically on commentary) Sin Cara and Kane start out, with Kane dominating then tagging in Bryan to loud “yes, yes, yes” chants. Cara moves from a diving knee by Bryan, then spins him around with a springboard tilt-a-whirl armdrag.

Rey is now in with Daniel, but gets worked over by Bryan. Kane tags himself in, and Rey flies around, dropkicking him on the outside and running off the apron with a seated senton. Daniel levels Rey, then Cara takes out Bryan with a suicide dive.

Commercials.

Kane is back in control now over Sin Cara, driving him down with a sidewalk slam. He switches with Daniel again, who clamps on a submission hold then stomps away. Kane and Daniel switch in and out, dominating this contest. Cara eventually counters a run in the corner then brings Bryan out with a spinning Tornado DDT.

Both tag-in their partners, and Mysterio hits two dropkicks for a nearfall on Kane! Mysterio reverses a sidewalk slam into a reverse DDT, as Cara takes out Bryan. Mysterio flies off the top but is cut off with an uppercut. Kane eventually counters a splash with a chokeslam attempt, then the “Prime Time Players” interfere, causing a double DQ.

Winners: No Contest, via Double-Disqualification

Post-match, the face-teams take out the Players and all three are staring at each other, pondering the tag-team situation.

Segment #13: Locker Room Promo

Paul Heyman and WWE Champion C.M. Punk are discussing the celebration and Heyman is excited. He leads his charge out of the room to the ring.

Ads.

Segment #14: Arena Promo

Paul Heyman is in the ring, which is decked out with pictures of WWE Champion C.M. Punk, a picture listing the longest-reigning champions in WWE History, and the canvas covered with his “X” sign carpet. Heyman first goes on a rant about how they received hate for their mockery of Jerry Lawler’s heart attack last week (which I still believe justified, as that was just wrong, wrong). (My PVR cut off a bit, so the next image is C.M. Punk walking down the aisle.)

“The Second-City Saint” hugs Heyman, then takes the microphone. “Shawn Michaels, he couldn’t do it. Triple H couldn’t do it. Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart’, ‘the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be’ could not do it. I guess that makes me ‘the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be.’ The Undertaker could not do it. And ‘Dewey,’ I’m sorry Dwayne. ‘The Rock’ couldn’t do it. 365 days as WWE Champion, one calendar year.’

Punk then points to the titantron, where a montage of his Championship reign plays, that depicts all his wins and significant moments.

Punk already has a goal in mind, July 25, 2018, when he would surpass Legend Bruno Sammartino as the longest-reigning WWE Champion in history. Heyman puts over Sammartino (even plugging him for the Hall-Of-Fame), but then says he, along with Hulk Hogan and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin could not beat C.M. Punk. Not even The Rock at the upcoming Royal Rumble in January 2013.

“The Straight-Edge Superstar” gloats over his Survivor Series win until Ryback interrupts. He is storming for Punk, but the Rollins, Ambrose, and Raines cut him off and assault. They rip apart the announce table then triple-powerbomb Ryback through it, to the happiness of Punk. He walks over and puts one foot over a downed Ryback, holding his Championship high and calling himself “the best in the world” to close the show.

End Of Raw.

Reporter’s Rumblings – By Moe Tapp

This was a good follow-up to Survivor Series, but not great. There were a few matches that could’ve done without, shortening up the already too long program. However, on the plus, plenty of continuity. To the analysis:

Excellence: Ryback opening promo was short, sweet, and expected in terms of mike ability. His match was Tensai was pretty decent as well, and liked the “struggle” to pick him up in the finisher. Wade Barrett/Kofi Kingston, awesome match and great-looking feud. Del Rio/Orton match – while stipulation perhaps saved for another PPV, the match itself was well executed, especially with Del Rio telling a psychological story by focusing on his left-arm.

Liking The Miz’s slow face-turn and glad it is actually garnering the reaction desired, for once! I think he could be a top-tier true babyface, even more-so than Orton with his charisma/personality.

Although I don’t like the A.J./Vickie feud/”reason,” I liked the brawl and pending rivalry/continuity between Ziggler and Cena. This should be great and my vote goes for Dolph to elevate himself. Much like Orton/Del Rio, Sheamus/Sandow was a story-tellers and psychological/old-school matchup. Beautiful!

Honestly, thought the celebration would be a little more, but still like Ambrose/Raines/Rollins being brought up and part of C.M. Punk/Ryback. Particularly Rollins, as he is much like early Punk, in both his look and wrestling, so I believe a good fit. And a great way to wear down Ryback a bit, without obviously completely destroying him or making Punk look bad too.

Bogus: Matches that didn’t need to be on the show: Kaitlyn/Aksana, Primo/Epico/Khali, Ceasaro/Clay (or at least a better opponent for the United States Champion), and even the tag-team main-event (Sheamus/Sandow or Orton/Del Rio should’ve been the last match). Again, all these were really filler matches and truly, three hours is too much, so there does not have to be extra!

Also, really wish they’d stop the Vickie accusations w/ A.J., and hopefully after tonight, they have. It is just dumb.

To end, some great new/continuing setups after tonight for feuds, so looking forward to watching those play out, especially Ziggler/Cena and Ryback/Punk and the three NXT Stars

As always, be excellent Wrestling-Online readers and wrestling fans!

WWE announces new partner for video distribution in Europe, Middle East and Africa

WWE announced a distribution agreement for home video with FremantleMedia Enterprises to distribute WWE DVD, Blu-Ray and any other digital content across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, replacing their long-time partners SilverVision.

The deal goes into effect in January of 2013 and will see FME manage the DVD, Blu-ray and digital rights for all new and existing WWE content, making it the first time that fans of WWE’s popular programming can access it digitally across EMEA.

Pete Kalhan, SVP Home Entertainment & Archive EMEA, FME, commented, “WWE is an incredibly strong and ever-growing brand with a huge and extremely dedicated global fan base. The brand has a rich history and has performed exceptionally well on DVD for many years. We look forward to working with WWE to grow all aspects of their home entertainment catalogue and are particularly excited about introducing the content to the masses across EMEA via digital platforms.”

Casey Collins, Executive Vice President, Consumer Products for WWE said, “WWE is pleased to partner with FremantleMedia Enterprises on the digital and retail distribution of our content in EMEA. FME’s broad retail reach will allow us to place more WWE content across all channels where our fans shop.”

CM Punk reaches one year as champion

CM Punk hit a very important milestone today as the current WWE champion has clocked in 365 consecutive days with the title, the first man to go a full year without losing it since John Cena in 2006/7.

Punk won the title at last year’s Survivor Series, defeating Alberto Del Rio with the Anaconda Vise. This is his second run with the WWE title and he also won the World Heavyweight title on three different occasions in previous years.

NXT wrestlers leave a mark at Survivor Series

Last night’s Survivor Series saw the debut of three up-and-coming Superstars who are currently showcasing their talents on NXT.

Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns, attacked Ryback during the main event, driving him through the Spanish announce table and giving CM Punk the chance to pin John Cena to retain his WWE title.

Rollins is the one formerly known as Tyler Black and he is currently the – first ever – NXT champion.

Ambrose shot some shoot/work angles with Mick Foley earlier this year including one at a hotel at WrestleMania and has been rumored to be called up to the main roster for quite a while.

Roman Reigns is a member of the Anoa’i family and the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sika. His brother is Matt Anoa’i, formerly known as Rosey in the WWE. He made his NXT debut at the end of last month.

CM Punk survives triple threat WWE title match at Survivor Series

Survivor Series has been a trademark of the WWE PPV events for 25 years, and tonight, the 26th showing will be no different in regards to some of the best matches in WWE history.

We will find out if CM Punk holds the belt past day number 364. If he wins tonight, Monday will mark a full calendar year that CM Punk has been champion. Last time we saw a reign this long was John Cena. He held the title for 380 days in 2006-2007.

Also tonight, a rematch from Hell in A Cell finds Sheamus facing The Big Show in an attempt to reclaim his title that he lost. As always, the Money in the Bank Winner Dolph Ziggler is still waiting for the right moment.

Tonight, WWE’s Survivor Series is live from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The play by play broadcasters tonight are Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler, and JBL.

Our 1st Match is Brodus Clay, Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, Sin Cara, and Rey Mysterio vs. Tensai, Primo, Epico, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match

We start with Kidd vs Epico and Kidd brings the mat game to Epico but a mistake from Kidd on the outside allows Epico to…to, my God does Rosa look good. Damn, ok, Justin in and controls Epico in his corner. Mysterio comes but gets taken out real fast by the tagged in Darren. Mysterio uses speed to get away and tag Sin Cara then Primo gets tagged in. Sin Cara works on him with a huge slam to the mat.

Primo able to tag in Tensai after a closeline from Primo. Tensai then throws Sin Cara into his corner and tags Titus who does quick work and tags Epico, then Tensai again who dominates. Tensai then attacks the entire corner but is blocked by Brodus. Brodus then gets tagged and clears the entire ring of the opposing team.

Brodus and Tensai remain in the ring and the battle of the biggest guys in WWE face each other. Huge collision from Tensai allows Brodus Clay to be pinned and eliminated.

Brodus Clay is 1st to be eliminated from his team.

Justin comes in to face Tensai and clearly loses the battle as he jumped and hit that brick wall. Titus comes in and continues to work the back of Justin. Justin does fight back but loses as Tensai falls hard onto Justin for a 2 count pin. Huge reverse allows a quick rollup for Tensai and Justin gets the 3 count.

Tensai is 1st to be eliminated from his team.

Tensai lays out Justin before leaving and Titus enters the ring then Epico enters but not able to stop Kidd from getting tagged in. Kidd enters but gets taken out fast on the outside of the ring. Back into the ring, Kidd gets worked on by Titus and showing his power . He turns his back at the wrong time and gets nailed with a kick to the head then gets rolled up for the 3 count.

Titus O’Neil is 2nd to be eliminated from his team.

Justin not able to tag as Darren and Epico still hurting Kidd. Kidd able to avoid a swinging Epico and applies the Sharp Shooter and Epico taps out.

Epico is to 3rd be eliminated from his team.

Kidd able to tag in Mysterio and he goes after Primo. Mysterio misses the 619 but still able to get a huge hit on Primo and this allows Mysterio to pin Primo for 3.

Primo is 4th to be eliminated from his team.

Now, Kidd, Justin, Sin Cara, and Mysterio tag and hit each of their high flying moves and are easily able to pin Darren.

Darren Young is 5th to be eliminated from his team.

Winners of the Match – Justin Gabriel, Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio, Tyson Kidd via pinfall.

Our 2nd Match is Eve (c) vs. Kaitlyn for the Divas Championship.

Just before entering the arena, another person tries to attack Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn able to fight off the attacker. A quick camera shot shows it was Aksana. Eve then quickly runs up and asks is she is ok. Kaitlyn just shoves Eve to the floor.

Now, both walked to the ring and Kaitlyn just mauls Eve in the ring and seems to be in big trouble. Eve tries twice to leave the ring and over the barricade but Kaitlyn stops her each time. Back in the ring, Eve able to finally fight back with a kick to the stomach and head then pin attempt but only gets 2. Two face slaps from Eve then elbow to the spine gets another 2 count.

Eve able to apply a leg-head lock but Kaitlyn able to break the hold via the ropes. As Eve stands on the top rope, Kaitlyn knocks her ass down to the outside mat then Kaitlyn looks mad as Eve cries and begs for mercy. Kaitlyn with a huge slap to the face then throws Eve around by her hair then gets a big hit to the gut for a 2 count. Eve able to get to the outside again and takes out Kaitlyn as she rolled outside then gets her back into the ring to hit a neck breaker for the 3 count.

Winner of the Match – Eve via pinfall to retain the Divas Championship.

Camera cuts before the entrance of the next match showing both locker rooms and every single member yelling and screaming at each other. Very dysfunctional teams here.

Our 3rd Match is Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. R-Truth for the United States Championship.

Truth goes after the champ quickly and able to get 3 quick pinfall attempts with his speed. Cesaro able to get a head butt in and begins to control the match. He works the ribs of Truth in the corner.

Cesaro begins to slow the match down, working the neck and shoulder of Truth. After stomping the chest, Cesaro pins for 2. Cesaro continues to work the ribs of Truth in the middle of the ring but Truth fights back with a quick 1 count pin attempt but Cesaro then goes back to a bear hug to the ribs.

Truth fights out of the hold and gets an uppercut then catches Cesaro with a heel kick to the face. Now Truth gets a 2 count pin attempt then sizes up Cesaro but an uppercut from Cesaro allows him to hit the Neutralizer finisher for the pin.

Winner of the Match – Antonio Cesaro via pinfall to retain the United States Championship.

We break from the action to go over the AJ Scandal again. AJ Tweeted today the she has evidence of something and is entering the ring now to show it.

AJ claims she has no choice but shows us her evidence while Vickie is in the ring, a photo of Vickie and Ricardo Rodriquez eating burritos, then Vickie and JR eating BBQ Sauce, then Brodus Clay and Vickie in the bedroom while Vickie wearing a leopard one piece. My God, my eyes.

Both then face each other with AJ smiling stating she does not want to fight as if both women hit each other, the other is fired. An unknown female then attacks from behind and is shown to be Tamina, if you forgot, she is the daughter of Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. She then hits the Superfly Splash, just like her father.

Then we cut to Paul Haymen interview claiming Punk will get the credit he is due tonight

Our 4th match is Big Show (c) vs. Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship.

We start right back to where this match ended at Hell in the Cell with Sheamus going right after Big Show but Show just shows his power, then hits some huge slaps to the chest. Sheamus quickly takes out the legs and locks the huge arms of Big Show in the ropes. This allows Sheamus to club the chest 10 times before the ref gets the arms unlocked.

Sheamus jumps from the top rope and Big Show just destroys Sheamus with a spear while Sheamus was in the air. Sheamus rolls to the outside and where Big Show loves. He throws him into the stairs then returns to the ring as Big Show stalks his prey.

Big Show still slowly throwing Sheamus around, hits a head butt, then uses the ropes and five count to continue to work Sheamus. Little offense from Sheamus allows him nothing but a huge kick to the head. Big Show then nails a big elbow drop for a 2 count.

Sheamus again strings together enough to stun Big Show but then walks into a sidewalk slam for another 2 count. Big Show using his tree trunk arms across the back of Sheamus but a mistake allows Sheamus to apply the sleeper, but gets thrown off. Sheamus misses Big Show in the corner and this allows Big Show to get a 2 count again.

Big Show climbs to the ropes but gets caught. Sheamus lifts, walks, and then drops Big Show in the middle of the ring on his back for a close 2 count. With both men on their knees, they smack each other with Sheamus winning this battle then he really shows his power by knocking down Big Show then Sheamus hits White Noise but only musters a 2 count. Now, Both men slowly get up and Sheamus signals for Brogue Kick but Big Show drags the official in the way and Sheamus nails the ref. The ref’s face is already glowing red.

Big Show is stalking behind Sheamus while medical staff help the down ref and nails the knockout punch to Sheamus and another ref comes in and counts 3 count! Michael Cole not happy with this outcome as video shows Big Show pulled the ref.

Winner of the Match – Big Show via pinfall to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

WAIT!!! WAIT!! Another referee now has stated that Big Show is disqualified for pulling the ref into the Brogue Kick.

NEW Winner of the Match – Sheamus via disqualification but Big Show retains the World Heavyweight Championship.

Big Show is not happy with this new outcome and is screaming at the ref, even having some of the conversation muted by WWE then Sheamus, with a chair, nails Big Show in the back. After multiple shots to the body, Big Show is now getting stalked by Sheamus. He is using the chair all over Big Show. Now, Big Show is pleading for Sheamus to stop with the chair shots and he does. He then nails Big Show with the Brogue Kick.

Daniel gets tagged in and the crowd attacks him with Yes Yes Yes but he gets taken out by Otunga and Sandow in the ring with an Elbow of Distain then a headlock. Kane is 1st to be eliminated from his team.

Orton and Miz yell at each other above who will come in next but Orton wins and then takes on Ziggler. He is then able to tag Kofi and Kofi with a huge move that launches Ziggler into the air, going head of heel then lands hard onto his chest then Daniel gets tagged in but meets Wade inwhich he just unloads a ton of knee shots to the head but Daniel falls to the outside of the ring. He is dragged back in for the 2 count. Now, Otunga comes in to take advantage of a hurting Daniel Bryan. David then gets caught really fast and Daniel gets him to tap out to the Yes Lock

David Otunga is 2nd to be eliminated from his team.

Alberto comes in to take on Daniel and a tilt a world back breaker takes down Daniel but Alberto gets thrown over the top rope real hard and this allows Daniel to tag Kofi. Both Kofi and Alberto in the ring and Kofi is unloading shot after shot then hits the Boom Drop. He then signals for Trouble in Paradise but Ziggler interferes. Kofi able to slam Alberto for a 2 count. Alberto is able to tag in Wade and Wade sets up and hits the Bull Hammer to Kofi for the 3 count.

Kofi is 2nd to be eliminated from his team.

Orton comes in to take on Wade and he works the chest and neck. After a few shots, Daniel gets tagged in and unloads even more leg shots to the chest then a missile drop kick for a 2 count. Alberto with a huge kick to the head and applies the cross arm breaker. Daniel taps out.

Daniel Bryan is 3rd to be eliminated from his team.

Miz finally enters the match for the first time to face Alberto. A fresh Miz hits an elbow to the head then tags Orton. He then works the arms of Alberto, and then hits a nice uppercut for a 2 count pin attempt. Alberto able to kick and work the arm of Orton then tags Ziggler who continues to work the same arm of Orton. Head Lock slows the match down for a few seconds until Orton fights back by throwing Ziggler high to the air then onto the mat. Both men tag and Miz vs Wade starts. Miz is controlling the match, he takes out Ziggler from attempting to interfere but Miz hits the Skull crushing finale and gets the 3 count pin attempt.

Wade Barrett is 3rd to be eliminated from his team.

Now, Alberto comes in to take on Miz with him getting a quick pinfall but only gets a 2. Miz then takes out Alberto but Miz misses him in the corner. A kick to the back of Miz allows Alberto to pin Miz.

Randy Orton is 5th to be eliminated from his team.

Winner of the Match – SOLE SURVIVOR Dolph Ziggler via pinfall.

We break to the promo for the Main event of the night. A little triple threat match is next.

Our 6th match is CM Punk(c) vs. Ryback vs. John Cena in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship.

We are about to find out if we will have a retaining 365 day champion, a first time champion, or an 11th time champion. Here we go, lets find out! To just add to the hype, Ryback is the last member to enter the ring. I love this Triple Threat matches!!

We start with Punk running outside of the ring with Cena chasing, then Punk gets chased by Ryback. Now Ryback and Cena take turns at Punk in the corner. Punk comes out and attacks Ryback from behind. He quickly loses and Ryback takes him out then running bulldog from Cena on Punk.

Now Cena and Ryback stare at each other in the ring, first time for this, and Cena loses the power battle but speed allows Cena to take down Ryback then a shoulder tackle allows Ryback to punch and hurt Cena in the corner. Punk then enters and attacks Ryback in the back again. Snap Suplex allows nothing but Ryback to throw Punk to the outside. Body slam from Cena allows for a 2 count on Ryback.

Punk up to the top rope and takes out both men then gets Cena to the outside. Again, Punk to the top rope and takes out Ryback in the ring. A 3rd time, Punk gets caught and slammed into the corner. Punk able to slow Ryback down but Cena runs in for the roll up of 2. Punk then able to reverse a move from Cena which allows a pin attempt on Cena for 2 by Punk. Ryback enters, and hits a running power slam. Cena then slams Ryback and Ryback gets right back up.

Both Cena and Ryback trade shots in the middle of the ring with a shoulder block from Cena stopping Ryback. Punk then drags Cena to the outside and throws him into the stairs hard. Punk now in the ring, working Ryback with a headlock, wearing him down.

Ryback gets out of the hold and closelines the champ, then a back body drop and signals for the meat hook closeline. He nails it then signals for Shell Shock. Cena enters the ring and then applies the STF to Ryback. He has not yet tapped. Punk from behind, climbing the top tope, and delivers the elbow to the back of the neck of Cena but Punk lands awkward on the mat but seems ok.

He signals for the GTS on Cena, Cena then reverses and both men trade shots. Ryback gets back and closelines both men hard. He then picks up and throws out Punk over the top rope. Ryback goes outside and is going to try something by lifting both men but it does not work. Now, Cena and Punk both work on Ryback and now the announce table it going to be used. Both Cena and Punk suplex Ryback right through the table.

Punk and Cena re-enter the ring with Cena winning with multiple shoulder tackles then Hits the 5 knuckle shuffle. Punk counters the Attitude Adjustment and nails the GTS but Cena kicks out at 2. Cena gets up and hits the AA this time and Punk able to kick out at 2.

Ryback still outside while Punk is the first to get up, then Cena. Both trade kicks and Punk Counters the STF and a running knee from Punk slows Cena down in the corner. Running Bulldog is countered and then Cena applies the STF. Ryback gets up, drags Cena to the outside, and closelines Cena. Ryback now in the ring, signals the Meat Hook clothesline, then marches around and hits Shell Shock on Punk.

Cena enters the ring before the 3 count, Ryback then hits Shell Shock to Cena.

What the hell, Now three men, dressed in black security clothing are attacking Ryback. They came from the crowd. Now, looks like guys from NXT, I remember their faces, they are Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns and they are attacking Ryback. Michael Cole confirms that they are in fact from NXT as they drag Ryback to the outside then put him through the Spanish announce table. Taking him out of this match.

Back into the ring, Punk crawls to pin Cena, who is still down, and gets the 3 count.

Winner of the Match – CM Punk via pinfall to retain the WWE Championship.

Punk leaves the ring celebrating as much of the crowd don’t know who the attackers were and are still shocked by the whole thing.

Great PPV, another weird ending to it but lots of action for many of the matches.

Next PPV will be the TLC: Tables Ladders and Chairs match on December 16th, 2012.

Happy Holidays to all and see you next month!

David Otunga goes shopping for 80,000 calories worth of Twinkies

TMZ has a funny story about WWE Superstar David Otunga raiding the last remaining Twinkies from a local supermarket as parent company Hostess announced that they are going out of business.

Otunga snatched a cart filled with “roughly 80,000 calories” worth of Twinkies, telling TMZ that he doesn’t want to let his son go without them!

Funny enough, his fiancé and Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson is the spokeswoman for Weight Watchers and campaigns for healthy eating and lifestyle! Oops!

TMZ noted that Otunga went to the local Hostess outlet in Chicago where he lives but he was too late as the entire store was empty so he decided to go to a supermarket to get his fix. He even posted for a photo in front of a trolly filled with snacks which you can see below.

Cody Rhodes says shoulder injury won’t stop him tomorrow

It looks like Cody Rhodes will indeed wrestle at the Survivor Series tomorrow despite suffering a concussion and a shoulder injury on Tuesday at the Main Event television tapings.

“MRI results…Torn trapezius grade 2. Torn deltoid grade 1. Separated shoulder,” Rhodes tweeted, followed by a more encouraging message.

“No surgery needed. Won’t stop us.”

The former Intercontinental champion will still be examined on Sunday for concussion effects before WWE goes live with the pay-per-view and if he is not cleared it is rumored that Tensai will be taking his place on Team Ziggler.

UFC fighter Tom Lawlor imitates The Shockmaster’s entrance during weigh-ins

UFC fighter Tom Lawlor – who is a big wrestling fan – arrived in style yesterday at the UFC 154 weigh-ins paying tribute to The Shockmaster from WCW.

If you recall, The Shockmaster – played by the man formerly known as Tug Boat and Typhoon in WWE – made his WCW debut with a bang, tripping in the entrance.

Lawlor walked out for his weigh-in wearing a helmet similar to that of The Shockmaster and also fell as he went up the steps, imitating the grand debut from WCW.

Lawlor fights Francis Carmont tonight in Montreal, Canada, at UFC 154: St-Pierre vs Condit.

You can see the clip of Lawlor’s entrance and the video of the weigh-ins at http://w-o.it/S4yj4A (starts at the 21st minute)

Shane Carwin pulled from TUF finale fight against Nelson

The coaches of the current season of The Ultimate Fighter will not fight against each other as expected as Shane Carwin had to be pulled from the fight due to a knee injury.

The rumored opponent for the other coach, Roy Nelson, is none other than former fellow TUF 10 cast member Matt Mitrione. The fight is not official yet but according to MMAFighting.com, both of them have verbally agreed to fight each other.

Carwin last fought in June 2011 when he lost to Junior Dos Santos in Vancouver. He has been on the shelf since October of last year when he had to undergo back surgery.

IMPACT TV report 11/16/2012

Impact begins with a recap of this past Sunday’s pay-per-view event, Turning Point. The first person to make his way to the ring after the video ends is James Storm. Storm is celebrating being named #1 contender after winning his match at Turning Point.

Storm’s celebration is cut short by his former partner and current rival, Bobby Roode. Roode walks to the ring with  couple beers in hand and offers one to Storm. Roode claims he is here to congratulate Storm, but he is not being sincere.

Roode claims that Storm will fail like he always does, and then take his ball and go home – again.  Roode sips his beer but Storm hits Roode and knocks him out of the ring. Storm says he wants to fight, but Roode says he’s been fighting Storm for a year and he’s done; unless Storm wants to put his title shot on the line.

Storm refuses, but Roode makes some insulting remarks about teaching Storm’s daughter what a real man is like, and Storm gives in. Bobby Roode and James Storm will face each other later tonight to determine who will be #1 contender.

In the back, Hogan is being interviewed and he claims to feel sorry for AJ Styles. AJ lost the #1 contender’s match Sunday night, and as a result he will not be allowed to compete for the title until Bound for Glory 2013.

Hogan claims AJ has been treading water the last couple years and is his own worst enemy.  I thought the booking committee and the writers were AJ’s worst enemies.

Commercial

When we return, we’re in the Aces and Eights clubhouse. The boss is asking Doc if he’s done enough to make up for allowing himself to be unmasked. Doc seems to think beating Sting half to death and bloodying Joseph Parks was a pretty good start.

The boss tells Doc there will be a vote, and in the meantime he has to hand over his Aces and Eights jacket. Devon throws a dart at the wall covered with TNA wresters.  We don’t see who the dart hit, but whoever it is Devon claims “the prick deserves it.”

Match #1: X Division champ RVD versus Kid Kash.

Kash attacks RVD before the bell and beats him down. RVD tries to fight back and the two men jockey for position.  Eventually RVD trips Kash up and takes him down. The two men exchange go-behinds. RVD lands a kick to the head.  Kash puts RVD in a headlock; RVD whips Kash to the ropes.

Kash and RVD again trade positions; Kash gets RVD in a headscissors and takes him over the top rope out to the floor.  Kash rolls RVD in and goes for a cover, getting a 2 count. Kash rakes Van Dam’s eyes and climbs to the second rope.  Kash hits RVD with a clothesline and then misses a moonsault. RVD hits Kash with a back kick and then follows up with rolling thunder.

RVD goes for a cover and gets 2. The two men exchange punches and holds, with Kash eventually getting a choke hold on RVD. Van Dam escapes and lands a kick. Van Dam whips Kash to the corner and then sends him flying to the middle of the ring with a monkey flip. RVD goes to the top rope and hits Kash with the 5 star frog splash for the win.

Eric Young and ODB are in the back talking. Eric is talking about his fishing network show; apparently there are alligators, and a fish pissed all over Eric. ODB smiles and tells Eric she loves him.  They make out passionately. They have awesome chemistry together.

Commercial

When we return, Kurt Angle is talking to Garrett Bischoff. Garrett Bischoff’s doppelganger in the WWE is known as Brad Maddox. Wes and Brad, I mean Garrett, both want to tag later tonight against Aces and Eights, but Kurt has to pick one.  He chooses Garrett, but promises Wes he has something planned for him.

Match #2:  Jesse with Tara versus Eric Young with ODB.

Jesse moves a little too slow, but he manages a couple bodyslams and a lot of elbow strikes. He really likes elbow strikes. Jesse lands a punch and chokes Eric on the ring ropes. Eric fights back and hits Jesse with a punch and a shoulder block.

Jesse puts Eric in an abdominal stretch and drives his elbow into Eric’s ribs several times. Eric escapes with a hip toss. Jesse responds with a punch but Eric no-sells it. Eric looks like he might be Hulking up!  Eric pulls his pants down and exposes his Red White and Blue US flag Speedos. I’m a little surprised he isn’t wearing Maple Leaf Speedos.

Eric lands a couple punches and a flying forearm. Tara enters the ring to create a distraction but ODB spears her out of the ring. Eric hits Jesse with a powerslam but then is distracted by ODB and Tara fighting on the outside. Eric gets knocked to the floor and Tara rolls him back in. Jesse hits Eric with a modified stunner for the win.

Commercial

When we return, Joseph Parks is asking Hogan for another match with Aces and Eights. Hogan says no, he made a mistake of putting a lawyer in the ring and he won’t do it again. Hogan asks what would happen if he tried to walk into a court room and tried a case with no legal training.  Parks thinks this is Hogan’s way of saying “go to wrestling school and then I’ll give you a match.” Hogan doesn’t think it’s going to work.

Match #3:  Magnus versus Samoa Joe.

Before the match begins, Devon and Doc and several other Aces and Eights members attack Magnus. Devon takes out his knee with a bat and Doc hits both legs with a hammer. Devon looks ready to hit Magnus in the face with the bat when Bully Ray comes to the rescue wielding a chain.

Al Snow and Simon Diamond and other TNA officials also come out to help Magnus. It looks like Magnus was the one chosen by Devon’s dart throw.  BTW – darts is an awesome game; you should find your local league and join a team.  It’s free to play and tons of fun drunk or sober.

Commercial

When we return, Austin Aries is entering the arena and he is asked how he feels. Aries was in a brutal ladder match with Jeff Hardy Sunday for the title, and he shows off his welts so we can SEE how he feels. Aries confronts Jeff Hardy in the locker room.

Hardy is also sore and getting a massage.  Aries tells Hardy he wants to congratulate him for elevating his game Sunday. Aries also takes credit for forcing Hardy to elevate his game. Aries claims he will regain hit title. Hardy responds with his inner voice, which we somehow are able to hear. I hope no one can hear my inner voice, I’d probably be sent to jail.

Commercial

Match #4: Kurt Angle and Garrett Bischoff versus Devon and large masked member of Aces and Eights.

Garrett and Angle attack before the bell. After the bell sounds, Angle and Devon start the match off. Angle lands a couple of clotheslines; Devon responds with an elbow. Kurt suplexes Devon, Devon lands a punch. Devon tags the masked man, and the masked man beats Angle down and then chokes him in the corner.

Angle lands a couple punches and kicks and then tags in Bischoff. Bischoff wrenches the masked man’s arm.  Garrett hits the masked man with a flying shoulder block and a dropkick. Garrett tags in Angle and Angle works on the masked man’s arm. Devon hits Kurt with a cheap shot and then tags himself in.

Devon hits Kurt with a suplex, some punches, and a flying back elbow. Devon tags the masked man in, and the masked man hits Kurt with a big splash in the corner. The masked man stomps Kurt down in the corner and then puts him in a front chancery. Kurt fights his way out and lands a series of punches.

Kurt hits the masked man with a German suplex. Devon runs in to help but Kurt hits Devon with a German suplex as well.  Kurt clotheslines Devon to the floor and is then attacked by the masked man. The masked man puts Kurt in a full nelson and Doc enters the ring with a hammer in his hand.

Wes Briscoe comes to the rescue wielding a pipe. Doc and the other Aces and Eights flunkies run away. Angle uses the distraction to hit the masked man with a back kick to the groin, forcing him to release the full nelson. The referee, who has missed a LOT even by pro wrestling referee standards, suddenly pays attention to the match again. Kurt rolls the masked man up for three, Angle and Bischoff win!

In the back, Jesse and Tara decide they need to speak with Brooke Hogan. They are standing outside her door and then just walk in.

Brooke and Bully Ray are sitting together, alone, on the couch. Tara wants to know why she wasn’t informed that there would be a Knockouts battle royal tonight. Brooke wants to know why Tara doesn’t knock. Tara wants to know why Brooke doesn’t lock her door.

Dixie Carter is being asked about AJ Styles. Dixie and AJ were both caught up in a very badly written storyline earlier this year, which the WWE is now stealing. The WWE is also improving on it, their version of this story sucks less, but it still sucks. Dixie says she’s never seen AJ like this, and he needs to move on.

Commercial

Match #5:  Knockouts Battle Royal to determine #1 contender.

Mickie James, Madison Rayne, Gail Kim, Miss Tessmacher, and ODB. For the first several minutes, Mickie and Madison fight each other, Gail and Tessmacher fight each other, and ODB sits in the corner watching.

Tessmacher climbs to the top rope and shoves Gail’s face into her vagina. I have no doubt that somewhere in the TNA offices there is an employee handbook that tells female wrestlers how often they must use either their ass, vagina, or boobs as weapons per show.

Tessmacher’s vagina is apparently not powerful enough, because Gail is still standing and Tessmacher was knocked off the top rope to the floor, eliminating her. ODB and Mickie simultaneously hit Gail and Madison with a Thesz press.  ODB hits Gail with a fallaway slam and has a drink.

ODB climbs to the second rope and slams Madison Rayne’s face into her vagina. (Apparently the knockouts haven’t hit their quota yet.) Mickie James slams Gail into the corner after Madison falls to the mat and ODB slams Gail’s face into her vagina. That should be plenty of vaginal assaults for tonight. ODB screams that she is a classy bitch. I agree, I love her, she is my favorite knockout.

ODB spits alcohol into Madison’s face and Madison falls off the ring apron to the floor and is eliminated. Gail tosses ODB out and ODB is now eliminated. Gail and Mickie are the last two left. Gail lands a punch, a kick, and a clothesline.

Gail slams Mickie to the corner and then steps on her neck. Gail hits Mickie with a couple forearms and Mickie responds with a pinch and a kick. Mickie gets Gail in a headscissors and takes her over the top rope.  Gail holds onto the rope and doesn’t hit the floor. Mickie knocks Gail off the ring apron with a back heel kick; Gail is eliminated and Mickie is now the #1 contender.

Commercial

When we return, AJ Styles makes his way to the ring to talk about his loss at Turning Point. AJ is obviously upset because now he will not get another title shot until Bound for Glory 2013.  AJ is so upset that this holiday season, he has nothing to be thankful for.

Daniels and Kaz come out to mock AJ, but AJ reminds Daniels that he has a lot more wins over Daniels than vice versa.  Kaz says that doesn’t matter because AJ is stale, but Kaz and Daniels are the REAL tag team champions. AJ wants one more match with Daniels, but Kaz says Daniels has nothing to gain from beating AJ.

Daniels disagrees, and thinks this is the perfect time for AJ and Daniels to have one more match, to prove once and for all who the better man is.

Commercial

Match #6:  Bobby Roode versus James Storm for the #1 contender’s spot.

Storm punches Roode before the bell and a few more times after the bell. Storm backdrops Roode and then pounds his head repeatedly. Storm clotheslines Roode and then whips him to the ropes. Roode hits Storm with an elbow that knocks him to the floor.

Roode removes one of the turnbuckle pads while the ref is watching Storm. Storm hits Roode with a shoulder block and Roode responds with a kick. Roode hits Storm with a flying armbar and then slams Storm’s arm into the steel post.

Commercial

When we return, Storm goes for a sunset flip but can’t get Roode over. Roode hits Storm with a leg drop and then a knee drop. Roode continues to work on Storm’s arm, slamming it to the mat and snapping it down over the top rope.  Roode stomps on Storm and then applies a wrist lock.

Storm fights his way out, but Roode slams him arm first into the corner. Roode re applies the wrist lock but Storm is able to fight his way out. The two men exchange punches and Storm takes Roode down with a side Russian leg sweep.  Roode goes after Storm’s arm again but Storm cuts him off and lands a pair of forearm shots.

Storm hits Roode with a clothesline and follows up with an inverted atomic drop. Storm hits Roode with a neckbreaker.  Roode backdrops Storm to the edge of the ring, but Storm responds with an Enzuigiri. Storm climbs to the top rope but Roode cuts him off and lands a punch. Storm pushes Roode off but Roode lands a forearm shot.

Roode tries to superplex Storm off the top, but Storm hits him with a headbutt. Storm jumps over Roode and takes him off the top rope with a sunset flip into a powerbomb. Storm goes for a cover and gets only 2.  Storm picks Roode back up, but Roode slips out and takes Storm down with a spinebuster.

Roode applies the crossface to Storm, but Storm is able to make it to the ropes. Roode stomps on Storm’s arm again and then twists it. Storm escapes and hits Roode with a double knee backstabber, and then immediately follows with a double knee facebreaker.

Storm gets ready to hit Roode with the superkick, but Roode pulls the ref in the way. While the ref is distracted, Roode slams Storm face first into the exposed turnbuckle that he tore off earlier in the match and rolls him up for the win. Storm used the ref as a shield, used the exposed turnbuckle as a weapon, and even pulled on the tights during the pin.

It may not be a clean win, but it’s still a win and Bobby Roode is now the new #1 contender. Storm looks devastated and Roode celebrates as Impact goes off the air.
