WWE Divas Alicia Fox and Layla along with John Cena and WWE’s Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon were in Washington, D.C., this weekend to participate in the Susan G. Komen Global Race event to raise awareness about cancer.
While in D.C., Stephanie McMahon also dropped by The White House today for a meeting with Brad Jenkins, the Associate Director in the Office of Public Engagement.
On his Twitter, Jenkins called McMahon “incredible” and noted she was there to share her “public engagement brilliance.” McMahon thanked Jenkins on her Twitter for “discussing what’s #bestforbusiness!”
The two shared a photo on their accounts with McMahon also posting photos of the official White House candy that she received and a photo in front of a door which had a big White House seal.
TNA Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has undergone surgery to repair his torn ACL and is facing a few months on the sidelines as he goes through the road of recovery.
This is his second surgery this year and Angle was advised not to wrestle at the TNA Maximum Impact Tour of the United Kingdom, an advise which was ignored by the former champion.
“4 months and 29 days for my return to the ring! Training starts today! Stay tuned,” Angle wrote on his Twitter along with a photo of his left knee all wrapped up after surgery.
At this rate, Angle is looking for an October return to the ring assuming he re-signs with TNA. He could be a free agent by the time he’s ready to perform.
Chris Sabin today announced on his Twitter that he is gone from TNA and accepting independent bookings.
“As of today I am officially a free agent,” Sabin wrote.
Sabin worked for TNA for 11 years, joining the company in April 2003 and winning the X Division title just a month after his debut. He has been off television since January of this year following the TNA Maximum Impact Tour and never resurfaced.
During his time in TNA, he won the World Heavyweight title once, the X Division title on eight different occasions, the Tag Team titles once and won the Super X Cup and twice the World X Cup.
TNA will be taping their last Impact television show at Universal Studios in Orlando tonight and then taping a One Night Only pay-per-view tomorrow.
TNA President Dixie Carter announced that immediatley following the show tonight there will be a special meet and greet at ringside.
With tonight’s tapings, all Impact shows up to the Slammiversary pay-per-view will be done with the next Impact tapings being held in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. TNA then goes to New York for more tapings and after that it’s not yet announced where the company will be holding more tapings.
TNA moved back to Orlando for their Impact tapings to save on costs but other productions were booked already in the same studio which forced TNA to go back on the road.

The rumors spread out so fast that Sheamus actually used his Twitter to address the reports.
“Must be getting punchy. Don’t remember being beaten up by Sin Cara backstage… It’s just how Mexicans & we Irishmen hug it out fella ;),” Sheamus wrote.

Hour one did 3,963,000 viewers, followed by 4,414,000 in the second hour, and 4,451,000 in the third and final hour. The first hour of RAW was the lowest since the December 23, 2013 edition. (Ratings credit: PWInsider.com)
Appearing on the Jim Ross podcast The Ross Report, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels talked about the ending of streak at WrestleMania XXX and when the decision was taken.
“I was shocked, I was shocked,” HBK said, adding that everybody was stunned backstage at the outcome. Ross speculated that the decision wasn’t probably taken at the eleventh hour or during that weekend, at which point Michaels interrupted him and said, “Four hours,” revealing that the decision to end the streak was taken just four hours before the show started.
Ross then recounted how he met Taker at the Hall of Fame the day before and asked him how many more of these he has got in him and Taker replied, “I don’t know, I’ll let you know in a few hours.”
Admitting that several injuries might play a big part in Taker’s decision to call it quits, Shawn Michaels said that regardless of what he had, his injuries had no bearing on the outcome of the match.
“In my personal opinion I would have liked to see Taker undefeated and retire,” HBK said.
Tonight is the aftermath of Extreme Rules. As usual, I have avoided hearing/reading anything about the pay-per-view, so let’s just get down to it!
Do we have a new Intercontinental Champion in Bad News Barrett?
Was World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan able to retain his title against “The Big Red Monster” Kane?
Who won the war between Evolution and The Shield?
And, was last week’s super-creepy opening to Raw enough to push John Cena over the edge and either destroy the Wyatt Family; or did Bray Wyatt use it to his advantage and come out on top over the (somewhat) popular superstar?
Plus, tonight, it’s party time! Adam Rose will make his main-roster debut, so who will be a “lemon,” and who will be a “rosebud?”
All this and more, so read on!

Segment #5: Arena Promo
Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erik Rowan are in the ring. Bray is sitting in his rocking chair, with lamp and microphone in hands.
“Abigail always told me that I was born to lead. She said ‘one day Bray, you will change the world.’ And I believed her. I always believed her. But this world we live in, this horrible world we live in. It has very, very wicked ways about it. And they, they would always snub their nose up at me. They would always look down on me. They would refer to me as a ‘piece of trash.’ They referred to me as a ‘nobody.’ And they don’t even know it, those people, they have made this day so sweet for me. Oh, what a glorious day it is, because last night, I, Bray Wyatt, became ‘somebody.’ Last night, John Cena’s fear was personified by that of a singing child.”
A clip now shows, from Extreme Rules, of a young boy singing “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands.” The boy’s voice was muffled, and he stared creepily at Cena.
Bray continues, “You can’t fool the children, John. For they are the foundation of what tomorrow shall bring. Their ears are so eager to hear. And their minds are so eager to learn, and their innocent little eyes see right through you, John Cena. John Cena tells all of you that I am a ‘monster.’ And he is right, I am a ‘monster.’ And, oh, how cruel I can be. He would also have you believe that my message, my honorable message, is nothing but lies and I only wish to watch the world burn. And I have to give it to you John. You’re right again; I do wish to watch this world burn. I wish to watch it burn as a farmer watches his spoiled crops burn, so they may rise up again. This world must be burnt down so that it can be reborn. And it will be reborn in my image; the image of Wyatt! John Cena thinks that I do this, everything I do, all of this, I only do it for myself. And that my friends is where John Cena is dead wrong. I do this for the children, I do this for the poor man that stands day-and-night begging on the side of the street starving because ‘they’ didn’t think he was smart enough to live in this world. I do this for the teenage girl who wakes up crying every morning (blanked out) because they didn’t think she was beautiful enough to be the Prom Queen. I do this for each and every one of you! And as of today, today, tomorrow, and everyday passing forward, John Cena stands alone. And alone he shall fall. But you children, you shall stand with me, and you never have to be alone ever again. You stand with me and you will remember me not as a monster, but you will remember me as what I truly am – a god.” Bray gets on his knees and begins, “He’s got the whole world in his hands, He’s got the whole wide world in his hands. He’s got the whole world in his hands, He’s got the whole world in his hands,” Wyatt sings and then laughs.

(Note: Again, they do formal introduction in the ring, bring more importance to I.C. Title Matches! Also, Barrett cuts a quick promo, giving us the “bad news” that puts down Big E. and the fans, saying they are not worthy of Wade as I.C. Champion.)
Big E. takes Barrett down with a couple of waistlock slams quickly, then gives him three consecutive backbreakers. On the outside, Big E. slams Barrett’s head against the steel steps and runs into him. (The crowd is now chanting “Bad News Barrett!”) Both punch each other standing on the apron, then Big E. runs and misses, ramming his own shoulder into the ring post. Wade follows up with a clothesline on the outside, then dives off the apron with an elbow. In the ring, Bad News stomps away.

All six men brawl again, with Ambrose and Rollins giving double-suicide-dives on Harper and Rowan against the announce table. In the ring, Reigns Superman Punches Wyatt, and all three Shield partners surround him.
Before they can execute the triple powerbomb, Evolution’s music plays and the trio walk out. This escalates into another big brawl, with Rollins and Ambrose suicide-diving Evolution and Harper and Rowan. In the ring, Reigns managed to hit the Superman Punch on Triple H, but he turned around into the Sister Abigail from Bray and victory for The Wyatt Family!

End Of Raw.
Reporter’s Rumblings – By Moe Tapp
Unfortunately, this Raw left a lot to be desired. Not much at all “clicked” this week for me, and a few people were missing. On to the critiques:
Excellence: As always, Bray Wyatt’s promo – he can do no wrong right now with his oratory skills and psyche! They physicality of matches between Del Rio/Bryan, and Big E./Barrett.
Bogus: Opening the show with the U.S. Title Battle Royal. I was really expecting a promo from either The Shield, Evolution, The Wyatt Family, John Cena, or Daniel Bryan. This really seemed out of nowhere and very rushed. I also hate that they had Ambrose lose the title this way – should’ve been built to a bigger/longer one-on-one match. With that match too, HATED Dolph Ziggler losing to that STUPID Cobra Punch by Santino. “The Show Off” deserves SO MUCH MORE than he has gotten since WrestleMania XXX. He should be in line for Barrett’s I.C. Championship now.
Ending to Van Dam/Cesaro bout also was sudden and didn’t make too much sense. I’m also still confused if Cesaro is supposed to be a heel or face. Again, I really think he would’ve been much better after WrestleMania XXX with going straight-face.
Did not care for the 3.M.B./Los Matadores promo – that feud should’ve ended last night. Also, I think that this is where Adam Rose could’ve debuted and really shown them how to party. I was let-down by his appearance tonight, especially after the weeks of hype, and the charisma the man does actually posses.
Do not care for Rybaxel as well as The Brotherhood right now. Also have fallen off the wagon since losing the Tag-Team Titles and really need more. Where was Divas Champion Paige, particularly after winning big over Tamina at Extreme Rules? How about Tag-Team Champions The Usos? They were M.I.A.. too.
It’s great that they kept Cena off Raw, to sell his loss from the pay-per-view; but have him make his return next week, not on Main-Event, where only a select number of people who have the WWE Network will get to watch. He’s a superstar, should be on international TELEVISION!
I felt Bryan was made to look very weak tonight, both inside the ring (Del Rio dominated most of it) and outside with being worried about Kane. The “unplugged wire” was really bad, as was Brie’s screaming. Again, another feud that should’ve moved on after last night.
Sadly, I thought that The Shield VS. The Wyatts was a bit slow until the end, and not as special as before. These guys should only face off once or twice a year, to keep the ambiance of how unique they are, and chemistry between them in the ring.
Until next week, where WWE needs to step it up again with may issues I cited above, Be Excellent Wrestling-Online Readers and Wrestling Fans!
WWE has added all the Clash of the Champions shows starting from the first one from March 27, 1988 all the way to the last one from January 21, 1997.
There are a total of 35 Clash of the Champions shows, special shows part of the WCW calendar that were created and aired on TBS to fight with WrestleMania. In fact, the first Clash of the Champions on TBS aired on free TV on the same night as WrestleMania IV and featured Sting taking on Ric Flair.
Eventually the show moved away from being competition to WrestleMania for obvious reasons and it was transformed to be a special just like WWE had with Saturday Night’s Main Event.
All Clash shows are part of the Vault section on the WWE Network.
WWE has compiled an amazing tribute to eight year old Connor Michalek, who passed away a few weeks ago after a long battle with brain and spine cancer.
As you may recall, Connor was a big WWE and Daniel Bryan fan and met the current champion for the first time in 2012. After the Michalek family told WWE that Connor only had a few left to live, WWE invited the family for the RAW before WrestleMania and then to New Orleans for the WrestleMania week.
The video that WWE did showed how prior to RAW before Mania, Connor and Bryan came out to the ring with DB’s music as all the WWE Superstars surrounded the ring to support the little guy. Triple H went in the ring and told Connor to hit him and cover him, something that Connor didn’t want to do at first.
Eventually Connor hit Triple H with a punch and then grabbed his leg and covered him as referee Mike Chioda counted the three with WWE Superstars and Divas cheering from ringside.
Little Connor was also the first person that Daniel Bryan greeted when he came out of the ring after winning the WWE title at WrestleMania XXX with Bryan delivering a heartfelt message to the boy.
It’s an amazing tribute to a person who has certainly touched the lives of many inside WWE especially Stephanie McMahon.
You can watch the video below. To read the original story about Connor Michalek click here.

Singerman was hired back in November 2013 in a new role and given the responsibility for the strategic development of content, including original, unscripted and scripted shows, scheduling of all programming and operations across all distribution platforms, including the WWE Network.

The former WWE champion was looking great and better than his final days in WWE. You can see the segment below.
Rumors are running wild that Batista is set to leave WWE earlier than expected after things that he was promised upon his return are not being delivered.
Batista was set to stay until June and then leave for a few months as to promote the movie Guardians of the Galaxy which is coming out on August 1.
It is believed that WWE is now offering Batista the chance to wrestle Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight title next however it is not known if Batista will accept the challenge since he’s leaving and he knows he won’t be taking the title away.
Batista is set to be on television this week although further appearances are in question. He is not advertised to appear at the upcoming WWE tour of Europe which starts next week.
Batista returned to WWE this past January after an absence of almost four years.
A new Superstar will make his WWE television debut tonight on Monday Night RAW and that man is NXT’s Adam Rose.
The 34 year old South African has been under a WWE developmental deal since 2010 working mostly under the name of Leo Kruger. In 2014 he began his Adam Rose character and appeared for the first time under that character on NXT TV just this past March.
Rose is one of the first two NXT stars who are being brought up to the main roster this month, the other being Bo Dallas.
Here are the results from last night’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view which took place from the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
El Torito defeated Hornswoggle in a WeeLC match in the pre-show; Cesaro defeated Jack Swagger and Rob Van Dam in a three-way elimination match; Alexander Rusev defeated R-Truth and Xavier Woods in a 2-on-1 handicap match; Bad News Barrett defeated Big E to win the Intercontinental title; The Shield defeated Evolution in a six man tag match; Bray Wyatt defeated John Cena in a cage match; Paige defeated Tamina Snuka to retain the Divas title; Daniel Bryan defeated Kane to retain the WWE World Heavyweight title.
