The first match for the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view was announced during the Survivor Series last night.

Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt will go for round two on December 14 as the duo will fight in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. At their Survivor Series match – which Wyatt won via DQ – Ambrose attacked Wyatt with a chair, sent him through a table and then climbed a ladder.

TLC takes place at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, in three weeks time on pay-per-view and on the WWE Network.

Steve Austin to welcome Vince McMahon on his podcast next week on WWE Network

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin will hold a special edition of his podcast on the WWE Network next Monday, December 1, immediately following Monday Night Raw with Vince McMahon as his guest.

Steve Austin’s show Unleashed is one of the most popular on PodcastOne.com and McMahon is no doubt the biggest guest he has welcomed so far. Austin will fly to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to record the interview which will be held at the BOK Center, the site of Raw.

The move to get one of the most popular WWE Superstars ever to host a special on the Network on December 1 is to try and convert some of those subscribers who got the free month in November into paying customers. The free offer expires on November 30 and those who do not cancel by that day will be charged $9.99 come December 1.

Sting makes WWE debut at the Survivor Series

After years of speculations and what ifs, it finally happened. Former WCW and TNA champion Sting showed up live and in person in a WWE ring yesterday at the Survivor Series.

The man known as The Icon appeared towards the end of the main event after Dolph Ziggler had the odds stacked against him with Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury, and Triple H all interfering to save Rollins. Eventually HHH’s favorite referee, Scott Armstrong, came in for the three count but the Stinger came out and took out Armstrong.

Triple H and Sting had a stare down and then Triple H threw the first punch but the former champ countered and eventually hit the Scorpion Death Drop on The Game, taking him out. He then helped put Dolph Ziggler on top of Seth Rollins as the referee counted to three.

Sting going to WWE has been a hot topic for several years, ever since WWE bought out WCW back in 2001. The possibilities of him appearing became closer to reality over the past few years during WrestleMania season but Sting never pulled the trigger and opted to stay with TNA when he was invited to jump ship.

That all changed this year when Sting was revealed to be part of the WWE 2K15 video game and the new Mattel action figures. WWE started selling his merchandise on WWEShop.com but a deal for him to be an on-screen character took a long, long time to be finalized.

Sting has said this year that if he has it his way, “it’s going to happen.” It might not have been the fantasy match against The Undertaker – which could still be happen – but one thing is for sure, Sting has finally landed in WWE and helped taking out The Authority.

Survivor Series 2014 pay-per-view results

Here are the results from last night’s Survivor Series 2014 pay-per-view which took place at the Scottrade Center in St Louis, Missouri.

Fandango defeated Justin Gabriel in the Kickoff match; Jack Swagger defeated Cesaro; The Miz and Damien Mizdow defeated Goldust and Stardust, Los Matadores, and The Usos in fatal 4 way to become the new WWE Tag Team champions; Alicia Fox, Natalya, Naomi and Emma defeated Paige, Layla, Summer Rae, and Cameron in a traditional elimination match; Bray Wyatt defeated Dean Ambrose via disqualification; Adam Rose and The Bunny defeated Titus O’Neil and Heath Slater; Nikki Bella defeated AJ Lee to become the new Divas champion; Team Cena defeated Team Authority when Dolph Ziggler pinned Seth Rollins.

The sequence of elimination was Big Show pinned Mark Henry, Rusev pinned Ryback, Rusev was counted out, Luke Harper pinned Erick Rowan, Seth Rollins pinned John Cena after Big Show turned on Cena, Show walked out and eliminated himself, Ziggler then pinned Kane, Luke Harper, and Seth Rollins, ending the match with the help of Sting.

Just over 500 seats left for tonight’s Survivor Series

Just over 500 seats remain for tonight’s Survivor Series pay-per-view as of this writing with the Scottrade Center getting close to a sell out by the time the show kicks off tonight.

There are several second and third row seats which are still available for sale on Ticketmaster.com, all priced between $350 and $500 each and four which are ringside. The majority of the empty seats are in the nosebleed section although there’s almost a full row of seats empty in the second row next to the aisle.

The late buzz of Sting showing up and home town hero Randy Orton appearing on the show might drive some additional sales today.

Survivor Series 2014 live and free on WWE Network tonight

Live tonight from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, and free on the WWE Network, WWE presents the 2014 Survivor Series. The full card is as follows:

Team Cena with John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Erick Rowan, and Ryback vs Team Authority with Seth Rollins, Kane, Mark Henry, Rusev, and Luke Harper in a traditional Survivor Series match. If Team Cena wins, the Authority will be removed from power while if Team Authority wins, all of Team Cena except for Cena will be fired; Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt; Goldust and Stardust vs The Usos vs Los Matadores vs The Miz and Damien Mizdow in a fatal 4-way for the WWE Tag Team titles; AJ Lee vs Nikki Bella for the WWE Divas title; and Alicia Fox, Emma, Naomi, and Natalya vs Paige, Cameron, Layla, and Summer Rae in a traditional Survivor Series match.

Early betting odds for the Survivor Series

The betting odds for the Survivor Series are in favor of Team Cena winning the main event, with Paddy Power putting them 2/9 and Sky Bet at 1/3. A Team Authority win with PP is at 11/4 while Sky Bet is at 9/4.

Other odds have Dean Ambrose, Nikki Bella, The Miz and Damien Mizdow, and Team Alicia Fox as odds-on favorites to win their respective matches.

The early morning odds are most likely to change throughout the day especially in the final few hours before the event as heavy bets come in which give you an idea which way the matches will swing.

Randy Orton set for Survivor Series return tonight

The Survivor Series tonight is live from St. Louis, Missouri, Randy Orton’s home town. So it’s only fitting that Orton somehow makes an appearance tonight to send the home crowd insane.

Apart from the debut of Sting, PWInsider.com is also confirming that Randy Orton is returning tonight after a few weeks out due to the filming of a WWE Studios movie, The Condemned 2.

Filming was being held in New Mexico and the former WWE World Heavyweight champion flew in yesterday to St. Louis to take part in what has become one of the most important shows of this year.

Orton was last seen being attacked by The Authority and was curb stomped by Seth Rollins on Raw so most likely The Viper will have some sort of interference in tonight’s main event.

Clarification on Team Cena stipulation at Survivor Series

The second stipulation to the Survivor Series main event was made more clear during Smackdown’s episode yesterday which was just a bit different from what it was reported earlier this week through eye witness reports.

Team Cena will not all be fired if they lose to The Authority, but only Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Big Show, and Erick Rowan will get the pink slip while Cena will still be employed.

Originally it was reported that all five members of Team Cena would be fired which is not the case now.

The Usos special on WWE Network this Monday

The WWE Network will have a 30 minute special on The Usos this coming Monday following Raw starting at 11:06PM EST.

Titled ‘The Usos – 10 Hours To Houston,’ this Network-only special captures the compelling story of twins Josh and Jon Fatu from childhood to their WWE Tag Team Title reign.

Ever since joining the WWE, the duo have become one of the most popular tag teams in WWE, thanks in part to the added exposure Jon has gotten from the Total Divas program with his wife Trinity.

Hang on to your seats! Sting is coming to the Survivor Series

Last night, WWE Chairman and CEO tweeted, “This will be a #SurvivorSeries you’ll never forget.”

It’s one of the most over-hyped sentences used throughout WWE programming, especially on pay-per-views, but this time he might really mean it.

PWInsider.com has reported that former WCW and TNA champion Sting will be making his WWE debut this Sunday at the Survivor Series, making it the first time that he has appeared live in front of a TV audience at a WWE event.

In what capacity he will appear is still not revealed, and probably will remain a surprise until he comes out of the Gorilla position.

With WWE Network being free for the whole month of November, including the Survivor Series, this will be a great way to try and hook up fans to sign up for the over-the-top service in December.

When TNA finally signs off Spike for good come Christmas Eve, fans in Canada will be left without their Impact fix starting January 2015.

Currently, Impact airs on Spike as well in Canada but with the move to Destination America, things will change, leaving TNA without a home.

Kevin Owens to make NXT debut on December 11 WWE Network special

The first promo for Kevin Steen, who will now be using the name of Kevin Owens, is set to air on tonight’s NXT episode on the WWE Network.

The promo was leaked on video sharing websites YouTube and Daily Motion today which showed the date of 12/11/2014 as his debut. That date is the next NXT Takeover special on the WWE Network which will be titled Our Evolution. In the video, Owens says, “I will fight anyone and everyone. Bet against me if you want, but it’s my turn now. I am the future.” The leaked promos were taken down after WWE filed copyright complaints to both YouTube and Daily Motion.

Owens signed a WWE deal earlier this year and joins Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Finn Balor, and Hideo Itami as the brightest stars of WWE’s developmental. His name was changed to Kevin Owens as a tribute to his son who is named Owen.

TNA wraps up original episodes run on Spike

The last first-run Impact show on Spike aired yesterday, nine years and one month after the first episode on the network aired on October 1, 2005.

TNA moved to Spike after WWE moved back to USA Network, freeing up a wrestling time slot on the growing network. TNA had no television deal since June of that year after they were dumped from Fox Sports Net but Spike quickly came to the rescue.

Two years after their Spike debut, Impact expanded to a two hour show, with Spike showing big confidence in the company after a good ratings run.

An ill-fated move to Monday nights in March 2010, head to head with WWE’s Raw, quickly backfired two months after the move from Thursdays and TNA announced that Impact was moving back to its original day and time slot in May.

The show remained on Thursdays until August of this year when it was moved to Wednesday night due to increased competition from other sports shows that night.

To sign off their original episodes run from Spike, TNA crowned two new champions last night with Low Ki winning the X Division title and Taryn Terrell winning the Knockouts title.

Spike TV and TNA thank each other after 9 years of partnership

After TNA announced its new partnership with Discovery Communications for Impact Wrestling on Destination America, Spike TV President Kevin Kay issued a statement which was originally published by PWInsider.com.

“Our partnership with TNA Wrestling will officially come to an end with our last telecast on December 24,” Kay wrote, confirming that Spike will still run the ‘Best Of’ episodes that TNA has lined up.

“Dixie Carter and her team have been incredible partners to work with over the past 9 years, delivering high-action entertainment and strong ratings. As Spike continues to evolve into a network reaching a broader audience, we continue to look across our schedule to find opportunities to add original scripted and non-scripted programming that appeals to a wider demographic,” Kay added.

Ending the relationship on a high note, Kay finished, “On behalf of everyone at Spike, we would like to wish Dixie and TNA all the best and continued success.”

TNA President Dixie Carter also tweeted her thanks to Kay and the team at Spike for giving them “an amazing platform” for the past 9-plus years. “Very grateful!!!” Carter wrote.
