On today’s episode of SiriusXM’s The Nikki and Brie Show, Nikki and Brie Garcia give an in-depth recap on WrestleMania 42.
During the episode, Nikki Garcia details her ankle injury and MRI results, clears up rumors that Nia Jax injured her, shared her thoughts on Paige replacing her and revealed that she is in no rush to return to the ring and is instead focusing on longevity. Brie also reveals that she almost pulled out of WrestleMania.
Nikki Garcia clears up rumors that Nia Jax injured her (5:30-6:11)
Nikki Garcia: What I want to clear up, because at first, Nia had gotten a lot of heat online and she actually helped me is when it came to the end of the match and the girls had to take us out, I knew at that point like I couldn’t even put weight on my foot at that point and I was in so much pain where I knew I was like, “Oh gosh, this is really bad,” and I knew what was about to happen, so when she came to take me out, I looked at her and I go, “Please no, my foot hurts so bad,” and she goes, “Wait, what?” And I’m like, “I can’t get thrown out. I need to step out,” so she helped me step out, but people made it like she injured me and I was like, “No, Nia actually really helped me in that moment,” because I don’t know what, I would have belly flopped on the ground if I got thrown because I knew I couldn’t put my feet down.
Nikki Garcia details her ankle injury & MRI results (11:00-11:37)
Nikki Garcia: The next morning before Brie and I go do media and then fly out, I go get an MRI, Brie and I do our media, and then we’re sitting, we get an aperol spritz, a nice little lunch before we have to catch our flight, and then I get the call, which sometimes calls aren’t that quick after an MRI, so when I saw one of our doctors calling, I was like, “Oh gosh,” so I answer and they’re like, “Don’t know how you managed to do all of it,” and then just broke it down to me that I tore, sprained and fractured my ankle and they’re like, “You’re just gonna have to go straight to Birmingham, you can’t go home, and we’re gonna get you in surgery ASAP.”
Nikki Garcia says she’s not in a rush to return to ring & is focusing on longevity (21:13-23:33)
Nikki Garcia: Even before Paige taking my spot, when I got the call knowing when you hear fracture, tear and sprain immediately.
Brie Garcia: I mean, you knew I was not going to be out with you.
Nikki Garcia: That, I immediately knew WrestleMania is done, right? So, that already tore me apart and then stepping in knowing Paige, of course, that’s hard. It was even hard in the moment. All of it was hard because it’s not like we’re 30 and we know like, “Oh, it’s fine. We’re going to get moments here.” We are literally on our last run and I don’t think a WrestleMania moment for me is going to come around. I get that I’ll probably have my last WrestleMania next year in Saudi maybe, but other than that, that will be it for me, so this would have been my last WrestleMania moment to share with family members and share with people here and, you know, really feel something and I’ve worked really hard the past year and a half and I haven’t complained. I’ve done what I’ve been told, you know, I’ve helped put people over, even though I don’t care about that, but really, as far as my character and the impact that I can have, I’ve been very okay taking a step back and helping out and not bitching about it, so this was my moment that I worked really hard for this past year and a half and for that to all go away is extremely hard and knowing too, like I’m very smart on knowing forever and I had to really sit back as I was elevating my leg 24 hours a day and really be like, “That moment’s gone,” so we got to heal from that and we got to know like, you’re not getting that back. It’ll never be first time tag team champions, The Bella Twins. You’re a tag team champ. You will be a two-time if we ever win, I’ll be a one-time, but we may never even tag again. I don’t even know. We don’t know and I will say because of my age and being a mom and I think more about longevity of life, so for me, I’m going to make sure this heals up so well before I even step in that ring. You know, right now we’re thinking it’s six to eight weeks, but if it’s three months, it’s three months because I have the rest of my life to chase Matteo on soccer fields and do all the things without being in pain. I’m not in my thirties anymore. I’m not my twenties anymore, so I’m not going to try to come back quick to gain a moment. The moment’s passed. There’s going to be other moments. This is a journey in life. God did this for a reason. You know, my faith makes me believe in that. God wouldn’t have had this happen to me if there isn’t a reason and the reason’s going to come and I’m going to see it and I’m going to go, “Thank you, God. This is why this happened and look at the great things that brought me.”
Brie Garcia says she almost pulled out of WrestleMania & Nikki shares thought on Paige replacing her (24:14-26:07)
Brie Garcia: Obviously, there was a big part of me where I had really long talks with Bryan where I was like, “I don’t know, I think I should pull out. I just think I should pull out.”
Nikki Garcia: I know you were even saying that to me. Like, “I can’t do this without you.”
Brie Garcia: Right, because it’s not the moment’s with us and I kept saying that and Bryan’s like, you know, “Go with your heart,” but also, you know, he and I talked, and then we were kind of like, “But in our business, opportunity rarely comes,” and especially at our ages. It is rare you get a phone call. “Hey, we want you back. We want you to do something really incredible,” so when you say no to it, you’re almost a fool.
Nikki Garcia: Right, and there wouldn’t, like honestly, this is where things are truly meant to be, and I’m not even just saying this, there is not one person, and I know I said it on the post show on ESPN, but there’s not one, if you were to tell me one person to pick to take my spot, like one person, not because someone was cleared, anyone that they’re like, “We will bring her back in a heartbeat.” Who would that be? It would be Paige, and if Paige, let’s just say, said no, I would be like, “Brie, there’s no one that makes sense. There’s not one person that makes sense to step in and mean something.” Paige is the only person that actually means something. Paige is family. We love Paige like a sister. We’ve all been through so much together. We’re total divas together. We’ve done a lot together and Paige is like my soul sister in the ring. She has been my favorite person to work with. We’ve always called ourselves wrestling soulmates, so honestly, it felt right to me and it was perfect and Paige is home. If this helped like, you know, really get her back, she’s been meant to come back here. She should be at WWE, so it makes me happy for her on that part.

Fabian Aichner, better known to fans as Giovanni Vinci, sat down with Chris Van Vliet at West Coast Creative Studio in Los Angeles, California to discuss his WWE release, getting kicked out of Imperium, his repackaged character, losing to Apollo Crews in less than 10 seconds on SmackDown, the way he was introduced by ring announcer Samantha Irvin, staying in NXT when Imperium was called up to main roster, his match with John Cena and Seth Rollins in India, and more!
How surprised were you by that call that you were getting released?
“I was and I wasn’t because, I mean, during the summer of the year previous, I wasn’t on TV, but I knew there was a plan to come back eventually. We did those vignettes and everything, but that didn’t last long, unfortunately. So after that, I noticed when some thoughts started to creep in. I tried to focus on the positive, and I always had high hopes. Like, for example, when the new year started, I know SmackDown went from two hours to three hours, and I was told, you know, there’s a quote from one of the producers, we have all the real estate in the world, there’s just not enough land. Basically, you have all the great wrestlers, there’s just not enough time on the show. So when SmackDown went to three hours, I thought, well, maybe now it’s gonna happen, maybe here’s the chance, and whatever. Then, yeah, I wasn’t needed for TV for a couple of weeks. You don’t want to hear that call. But when it happened, I can’t say that I was really surprised at it. So it was kind of a weird mix of feelings.”
A lot of people, right after their 90 days are up, they hit the Indies, or they start doing conventions. You haven’t done any of that. How do you feel about wrestling right now?
“It’s funny, because this is what I wanted to do since I was 13 years old, and when that chapter ended, I knew I wanted to take some time away, but I feel like there’s way more things to do for me. I feel like I haven’t reached my full potential yet. I feel like some people know what I can do, but I know I can do a lot more. I just really wanted to take enough time to not come back and go in halfway. So I definitely work out, I want to wrestle again. I feel like there’s many things still to do, nothing set in stone yet, but when that opportunity comes, I know I’ll be ready for it.”
Do you have a timeline in your own mind of when you want to have another match?
“I mean, we’ll see. We’ll see what’s coming up. I did have some talks with a couple of people, some really good talks, and we’ll see. I always believe in the timing of the universe, that everything happens for a reason. Yeah, it’s just a feeling that I got. At some point, I just felt like working out more. At some point, I just felt like dialing in my diet again, just getting more serious with cardio and all those things. I don’t have to force myself to do that. So I know when that opportunity comes, it’ll be the perfect timing. I’ll be in the perfect spot, mentally, physically, and I’m gonna kill it.”
Right before you got released, you were kind of repackaged. So you had these vignettes that you’re talking about. It’s like Italian elegance. You’re driving a Ferrari in Las Vegas, and then you come out and you lose to Apollo Crews in less than 10 seconds. So what was the original plan with these vignettes and where your character would go?
“I thought the plan was to get me going right away, and I didn’t find out about that till basically the day of the show. So at the end of the day, you’re a professional. Whatever the plan is, you try to make the most of it. I do have to say, as far as entrance-wise, that was my favorite entrance I’ve ever done. Because in the group, I always felt a little bit like I tried to fit in. That’s why I didn’t stand out. Whereas with that character that I did in NXT, and it worked great there, doing that on the main roster, I just felt like, Okay, I have some sort of direction, who I am, what I’m supposed to do. Was my favorite entrance, personality-wise, charisma-wise and everything, and then the plan changed the day of. Looking back now, I feel like from a business standpoint, if you look at the positives, it definitely got attention, definitely got people talking. The unfortunate thing for me is just that not more came out of it, because I feel like we could have done a lot of cool stuff with that character on SmackDown. I know Apollo and I could have tore it up in a match. We did in NXT. We did on Main Event. We have great chemistry. It was just things just kept happening. We moved to a different channel two weeks after then the next thing happened. I wasn’t on TV for a little bit. And, yeah, that’s just one of those things that are a little unfortunate. Because I saw myself actually having really good matches with the guys in the United States title picture at the time, like Melo, LA Knight, Andrade at the time. I think we could have done some cool stuff there. But, yeah, it is what it is.”
I think the way that Samantha Irvin introduced you really helped to get you over, especially early on
“Oh, for sure, she did an amazing job. I was actually looking forward to the introduction every time myself, like, oh, here we go. ‘Giovanni!’ She did amazing.”
Did she tell you she was going to do that?
“No, no. Caught me off guard myself. Like, oh, that was cool.”
I’ve heard a lot of people saying that this new El Grande Americano looks a lot like Ludwig Kaiser. What do you think of the work that he’s doing?
“I think he’s killing it at whatever he’s doing. I think he has a good feel for what the people want to see and what people want to get out of it, and the reaction speak for themselves.”
You had a match where it was Imperium versus John Cena and Seth Rollins. I don’t know if a lot of people know that you were in the ring with John Cena. How did that match come about?
“Man, was such a surreal moment. It was announced that Cena was going to be on that show in India. It was kind of last-minute. It was kind of thrown together, or was announced that Seth and Cena against Ludwig and I at the time, and I tell you, that was the loudest reaction I’ve ever heard in my life. That building of the floor was vibrating. It was shaking when we were standing there. He did his entrance, and then it was one of those. It’s almost like you wear a real-life VR, you know, those virtual reality things. Because he was my brother’s favorite wrestler. Growing up in 2004 2005, obviously watched him my whole life myself, and then he gets a tag, and I get a tag, okay, wrestling John Cena now, crazy moment. Obviously you want to still be professional like 99%, but that 1% in the back of your mind is like, Oh, this is cool. This is very cool.”
During the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T called for WWE to have better security at hotels during large events such as WrestleMania.
Fans at MGM Grand were super disrespectful and entitled, mobbing and following WWE Superstars and their family members everywhere throughout the casino floor and spending hours outside elevators waiting to take photos and videos.
Booker said it was really hard for him this year navigating through the massive property and felt bad for the WWE Superstars who had to perform.
“Because I got mobbed, and I’m not even doing this anymore. So hopefully we can get that fixed,” Booker T said. He added that there were fans even following him to the public bathroom and filming him.
“They were camped out. Everywhere, they were camped out. You couldn’t walk anywhere. And they were following you,” he continued. “In the bathroom. I remember the guy literally was filming me in the bathroom. And when I walked out he goes, ‘Hey, Booker.’ And I just kept walking because I was so mad because he was filming me in the bathroom.”
Fellow Hall of Famer X-Pac also said that he was assaulted by a fan inside the hotel.
“I got physically assaulted & camera shoved in my face, stalked in the bathroom, & more,” X-Pac wrote on X.
X-Pac was reacting to a video posted by TMZ of CM Punk slapping the phone away from a fan who was filming his wife and Bayley sharing a personal moment and he got a little too close.
“That guy & all the rest like him can get f*cked,” X-Pac added. “It was insane how these people were.”
There were more incidents like this throughout the week and it was only when it was almost time to leave that WWE and hotel security added bodies by elevators to check if they were guests or not. Fans who were just there to stalk wrestlers were pushed away and only those who had keys to their rooms were allowed to go in.
Las Vegas recently had its biggest week this year in terms of wrestling, with all eyes set on WrestleMania 42. On April 18 and 19, the annual wrestling extravaganza brought reputable champions to Sin City, all of them competing for professional legacy and top-tier titles.
Despite the event being a two-day endeavor, fans supported the champions with pre-event wagers and live gambles. GGBet offered live odds for every match that occurred this weekend, which improved engagement. The event held plenty of surprises, as competitors successfully defended their titles or reached new popularity ranks.
What Was This Year’s WrestleMania Edition?
This year marked the 42nd edition of WrestleMania, a flagship WWE event where wrestlers go for the championship title. This year’s edition took place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, bringing together the biggest stars.
The 42nd edition felt different from the others, as John Cena acted as the official host. Having retired from the full-time ring action in 2025, he returned as the storyteller for the event. This allowed the new generation of superstars to take the stage.
The Main Events that Define a Legacy
The 42nd edition of WrestleMania had a total of 13 matches, all of them culminating in superstars going for the title. Rising stars and legacy contenders opened the weekend, whereas the second evening climaxed with a long-awaited collision.
Highlights of the event included Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, along with Roman Reigns and CM Punk. Below are the highlights that stole the show, along with the stakes they were fighting for.
Night One Highlights
Night One was one of intense personal reckonings, as history and relationships reached a boiling point. Technical wrestling precision became the key as competitors wanted to prove themselves and settle the score. Evening highlights included the following:
Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
The match between Rhodes and Orton was the most complex event of the first evening, building for more than 18 years. The two were originally allies, sharing a “mentor and protégé” connection. However, they ended up competing for the undisputed WWE Championship after years of rivalry.
Following the calculated betrayal laid out on Rhodes, this match was no longer a simple competition. Adding Pat McAfee to Orton’s corner created an extra layer of uncertainty that affected the momentum.
The match was war-like and intense, with both going after each other’s signature areas. This eventually ended with Cody hitting his Cross Rodes to secure a pinfall victory, securing the Undisputed WWE championship title.
Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan
The match between Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan was also highly anticipated, as both were vying for the Women’s World Champion title. Vaquer was the reigning title holder, which she had to protect this year at WrestleMania.
Vaquer had chances of holding onto the title due to her dominant personality, but Morgan’s resilience gave her a fair chance at winning.
However, after a six-minute clash where Vaquer used her “Devil’s Kiss” finisher move early, Morgan received the upper hand after going on the offense. Eventually, Morgan connected with a Jersey Codebreaker and an Oblivion, securing the title and taking Vaquer off her throne.
Seth Rollins vs. Gunther
The rivalry between the two contenders has already reached a notorious stage, after the two exchanged blows at the pre-WM melees. These multiple brawls outside official matches built up anticipation for this event, with the tension offering “match-of-the-night” potential.
This match was highly anticipated due to the two wrestlers’ different wrestling philosophies. Rollins was the charismatic veteran with the high-octane offense that aimed to cement his legacy by taking down a dominant force.
Gunther was the stoic “Ring General” who relied on methodical, punishing blows to take down his competition. Eventually, Gunter won the match through technical submission after executing numerous powerbombs during the match.
Night Two Highlights
While the first night focused on bouts from the past, the second was all about defining the future. The spectacle vibe was still there, but while April 18 had a “personal grudges and mentorship” theme, the second night was characterized by “iconic clashes and new frontiers”.
CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns
The fight between CM Punk and Roman Reigns has been the source of whispers for a long time now, especially given their decade-long rivalry. The professional competition between the two was further reignited once Reigns challenged Punk after the Royal Rumble.
CM Punk is known for his strike-heavy approach to matches and the knee strikes that put his competition into submission. Reigns used a power offense and explosive bursts built on methodical control during every match.
Reigns was a favorite due to his dominant positioning, and he met expectations by defeating Punk by pinfall. Clocking in at more than half an hour, this was the longest match of the evening. It further shifted Reign’s momentum as he regained the World Heavyweight Championship title.
Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley
Cargill and Ripley are two contenders going against one another for the title of WWE Women’s Championship on the second evening. The two have already intersected before, with Cargill using her power and authority during matches while Ripley relied on relentless aggression.
These matches created a professional rivalry between the two, which culminated during WM42. Both women performed big power moves, but just as Cargill was trying to perform a One-Winged Angel move, Ripley reversed her momentum and gained advantage with her Riptide. After pinning Cargill, Ripley became the new champion.
Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams
The match between Zayn and Williams was also a highly expected one on the roster, especially with Trick’s constant provocations of Zayn. The rivalry between the two escalated to the point where Zayn responded, leading to the title match at WW42.
Zayn is a veteran who generally relies on his stamina and improvisation skills to take down his enemy. Williams uses athletic power that mixes leaping strikes and charisma pacing. He had the momentum, and he used it to defeat Zayn, winning his first main-roster gold with his signature Trick Shot move.
WrestleMania 42 was a high-energy event that included everything, from personal vendettas to legacy matches. Many of the competitors retained their titles, but others surprised us by rising to the top. This left fans with more questions as to how the season will progress.
After an absence of six months, The Street Profits returned on Raw and came out to help Seth Rollins in his fight against The Vision.
Rollins was being attacked by his former crew when all of a sudden, The Profits’ theme song hit the speakers and Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford came out sprinting to even the odds.
The duo, who were last seen on Smackdown, haven’t appeared on TV since October 2025 and just recently were doing NXT non-televised live events.
There was no injuries that kept Dawkins and Ford away from television but it’s believed that there was no creative for them at the time.
Joe Hendry will be joining the Raw roster starting from next week’s show, becoming the third star from NXT to be called up to the red brand following Ethan Page and Sol Ruca.
The former TNA and NXT champion will be having a concert on the Raw episode from Laredo, Texas, something which Raw commentator Corey Graves did not particularly like and wondered whose name they should call to make Henry go away.
Hendry signed with WWE in November 2025 and joined NXT. He had several NXT appearances under his belt already thanks to TNA’s partnership with WWE. Last year he was Randy Orton’s surprise opponent at WrestleMania while he was still TNA champion, replacing the injured Kevin Owens.
Impact, which had its first hour go head-to-head with the second hour of Collision, drew 212,000 viewers, down 45,000 viewers from the previous week. The show had a 0.05 rating in 18-49, which was up 0.01 from the previous episode. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)
Sol Ruca made her debut on Raw After Mania last night, interrupting the new WWE Women’s World champion Liv Morgan.
The former NXT North American Women’s champion praised Morgan for her accomplishments and was being nice, but unfortunately for her, Morgan did not reciprocate and lambasted Ruca for interrupting her championship celebration with her Judgment Day family.
With the two arguing, Raw GM Adam Pearce came out and made an impromptu match between the two. Ruca impressed big time, getting “Holy shit” chants from the crowd, and just about as she was going to have the win in the bag, her former friend Zaria interfered and beat her down.
The interference allowed Morgan to recover and hit the Oblivion for the win.
Ruca has been with WWE since 2022, wrestling for NXT. She had one main roster match against Natalya at the John Cena farewell card on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Ruca will take on Zaria in a last women’s standing match tonight on NXT Revenge night two.
Bianca Belair used social media to reflect on her WrestleMania announcement this past Saturday.
Belair has been out of action for a year, ever since WrestleMania 41, where she broke her knuckle in a triple threat match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley.
But a year later, she returned to the Allegiant Stadium to deliver a surprise announcement: pregnancy.
“Same venue. Different result. This year. I win,” the former champion wrote.
“I was so nervous to pop my little private bubble and share this moment but I’m so overwhelmed and truly overjoyed with the outpouring love and support. I was literally shaking and crying backstage before I came out,” she continued. “This year has been so hard in ways you guys just REALLY don’t even know but everything TRULY happens for a reason. There has been so many twists and turns but ending here has made it all worth it. I’ll be back! But until then enjoy this ride with me!”
The Collision Spring BreakThru episode on Thursday night did 473,000 viewers, up 50,000 viewers from the prior week which aired on a Saturday night. The show had a 0.08 rating in 18-49, the same number it pulled the previous week. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)
“All Ego” Ethan Page made his Raw debut last night in Las Vegas and got himself a match with Je’Von Evans as the two bickered over who should take on Penta for the Intercontinental title.
Page eventually won the match after Rusev interfered and attacked Evans. Page wanted none of the post-match attack, but stayed around to distract Penta as well who came down to save the day. Page tripped Penta on the ropes, allowing Rusev to also beat down the champion.
Page has been wrestling with WWE since 2024 as part of NXT and is a former NXT North American and NXT champion.
Roman Reigns’ first challenger has stepped up and it’s none other than Jacob Fatu.
In the main event segment, which saw Reigns walk out with his cousins The Usos again, Jacob Fatu interrupted the Bloodline reunion and Reigns foolishly assumed that Fatu was there to acknowledge him, to which Fatu replied no. Reigns then assumed he was there for his title, and Fatu said he was there because he needs to win the title.
He said that he wasn’t interested in being the Tribal Chief, but he was interested in having everything that comes along with being the Tribal Chief. Fatu mentioned the shoes, private jets, bigger house, Rolex watches, better schools for his kids etc and said that he would do everything for his family, even if he had to go through the Tribal Chief to get it.
Fatu told Reigns that come Backlash, he’s coming for his title. Reigns said that maybe he could beat him for the title, but if he doesn’t, can he handle the burden to acknowledge him? Reigns gave Fatu one week to re-think his decision and he would answer him on next week’s Raw.
The Kill Tony: WrestleMania show which took place on Saturday after WrestleMania at the Dolby Live theater is now streaming on Netflix.
Those who joined Hinchliffe from WWE included The Undertaker, Jey Uso, Kane, Nia Jax, Danhausen, Stephanie McMahon, and Triple H.
Others who participated include Brian Redban, Jeff Ross, Dedrick Flynn, William Montgomery, Tony Scar, Casey Rocket, Timmy No Brakes, Uncle Lazer, Carrot Top, and Pauly Shore.
Viewers discretion is advised as this is a comedy show with a lot of raunchy stuff and expletives!
Over 3,000 fans were in attendance for the show, outdrawing even the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony the night before.
“The business doesn’t need to be saved after all.”
That’s what Pat McAfee said after allegedly “finishing his story” at WrestleMania 42 Saturday. He had promised earlier that if Randy Orton doesn’t win the title against Cody Rhodes, he would leave the business forever.
Doing his daily Pat McAfee Show in a neck brace to sell the RKO he received on Saturday, McAfee noted that Cody Rhodes proved to be “the one.”
He said he went through NXT pre-shows, wrestled in NXT, moved to WWE, commentated, refereed, wrestled, managed…and was lucky to do it all.
“It’s been a hell of a run, thank you wrestling,” McAfee said.
He also admitted that me might have taken it a bit too far in trying to motivate Orton with the things he was saying, but nonetheless, enjoyed doing what he did at WrestleMania.
In a post on social media, Jimmy Uso revealed that his wife and former WWE Women’s World champion Naomi has given birth to their first child.
Jimmy posted a photo of a beaming Naomi holding the baby in a car.
“The new lil baby USO,” he wrote. “Naomi says thank y’all for the wishes.”
Naomi announced her pregnancy in August of last year and had to vacate the title just weeks before she was scheduled to defend it against Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Paris.
TMZ.COM shared footage of CM Punk slapping a phone away from a fan’s hand after the fan kept filming Bayley hugging AJ Lee at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino after WrestleMania.
Bayley and Lee were sharing a personal moment but the fan moved close to film it. Punk immediately stepped in and whacked the phone away then turned around and slagged him off.
Security quickly intervened to calm down the situation and the fan apologized to Punk before the former champ gave him a death stare and walked away.
The situation with fans at the WWE hotel in Las Vegas has been pretty much embarrassing, with WWE Superstars mobbed every time they step out to do something, even with their families.
WWE has added more sections to tonight’s Raw at the T-Mobile Arena as the hard cam side is now also fully opened.
The cheapest tickets are now priced $75.79 when using the LASTCHANCE offer which knocks 30% off the price. While it won’t be a sold-out show like last year, the attendance looks like it is going to be healthier than Smackdown this past Friday in the same location.
Appearing on the WrestleMania post-show, Oba Femi said that in the coming weeks, there will be an “establishment of a new main event player” and predicted that by the end of he year, “the OTC can get some!”
Femi, without a doubt the most over Superstar throughout the whole weekend in Las Vegas, had just seemingly retired Brock Lesnar hours earlier, dominating the Beast Incarnate with an impressive win.
“I took 25 years of history. I took 25 years of dominance from The Beast, and I made it null because I am the man who I say I am,” Femi said.
Later in the post-show, the WWE World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns responded to Oba’s challenge, first congratulating him on the big night.
“Oba, you gonna kill me? You still seem a little fresh in this business. You did a big thing tonight, but I’ve done that many times. I did that with the title on the line,” Reigns responded, referencing the many battles and WrestleMania main events he had with Lesnar.
“Let’s see how you do in the Summer…then we’ll see if you can step to the Greatest of All Time,” Reigns continued.
Drew McIntyre heaped praise on IShowSpeed and Logan Paul for their performance at WrestleMania Saturday.
In a one-on-one interaction with Speed posted to his Instagram Story, the Scotsman gave some words of advice to the popular streamer who had his first official match at Mania in a six-man tag match.
While his team lost, Speed came out on top after Logan Paul turned on him, but he had the last laugh with an impressive splash from the top all the way to the announce table.
“When I was watching the end…the splash was unbelievable. I thought he broke his ribs, you bounced off him,” McIntyre told Speed. “The hardest thing to do, Logan has done the same thing, you and Logan are so similar, the hardest thing you can learn is just to be yourself on screen. You just know who you are!”
McIntyre says that anyone can learn some moves and maybe not execute them as good, but it comes off natural for Speed.
“The personality, knowing who you are, the between the moves shit…that’s the important stuff,” McIntyre continued. “Yourself and Logan, you just got it instantly. The fans know who you all are, the fact that they can connect with you is because you know who the f*ck you are. Plus you can do the moves.”
