Judge denies request to unseal Hulk Hogan’s court records

Hulk Hogan’s court records will remain sealed after a Florida judge today rejected the motion brought forward by a group of media outlets to make them public.

The Associated Press and a group of other media companies filed a motion yesterday requesting all records in the current Hulk Hogan sex tape lawsuit become public. One of the tapes sealed was leaked to The National Enquirer who outed Hulk Hogan as a racist after publishing a tape of Hogan saying a lot of racial remarks when he was being secretly taped having sex with Heather Clem, the ex-wife of one of his biggest friends Bubba “The Love Sponge.”

The attorney representing the media companies said in a statement that it’s highly unusual for this much secrecy to surround a civil proceeding.

After suffering several setbacks, Hogan finally won a round in court. He’s suing Gawker for $100 million for the leaked sex tape and the case will go to trial in the first quarter of 2016.

Sunny released from jail after posting $2,000 bond

Presiding judge Joseph J. Matika slapped a $2,000 bail on Tammy “Sunny” Sytch during yesterday’s hearing after she was arrested for not showing up at three different court hearings.

TMZ reported that the WWE Hall of Famer was still in jail yesterday afternoon as no one has bailed her out yet however she posted the $2,000 bail in the evening.

“Skyping tomorrow night! email me at Synnyskype8@gmail.com for info and to reserve your spot,” she wrote on Twitter today, continuing her one on one video sessions with fans that sometimes also include full nudity, depending on how much you pay.

The trial, stemming from her DUI arrest in May of this year, is expected to start on December 7 although she has other court dates in between for cases unrelated to this particular one.

Steve Austin slams down rumored WrestleMania 32 match

Stone Cold Steve Austin has come out to slam the reports that he is one of the people being considered to wrestle Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32 next year.

“You can take my name off the rumor mill as a Brock Lesnar opponent at WM32,” Austin wrote on his Twitter before calling those who wrote the rumors as, “Bullshit reporting.”

The WWE Hall of Famer was put on the spot by Paul Heyman a couple of months ago during the Stone Cold Podcast on the WWE Network and the addition of Lesnar as his next guest this month fueled these rumors.

Austin, in no way, shape, or form, has ever said that he wants to take on Lesnar at WrestleMania. He last got in the ring at WrestleMania XIX in Seattle, Washington, losing to The Rock in what ended up being his last ever WWE match.

Night Of Champions and Raw is recapped with a video montage, then we go live to the arena in Corpus Christi, Texas. Eden Stiles asks us to welcome the Director Of Operations, Kane. The (former) “Big Red Machine” is thrilled to be back, and books a couple of bouts for the night. He accuses Kane of still being “the demon” despite wearing corporate attire now. The 7-footer almost turns to that side, but backs down. Seth alludes that Kane needs professional help, psychologically, but Kane will just “take that under advisement.” The WWE World Heavyweight Champion can’t believe it, and Kane puts him in a match against Dean Ambrose, later!

Rich Brennan, Jerry “The King” Lawler, and Booker T. address us from the announce table. Booker speculates that Kane now has Split-Personality Disorder, but Lawler thinks that Kane is just playing it up to …. Rollins.

Reporter’s Rumblings – By Moe Tapp

This the first time ever in all of my reports that I liked absolutely everything promo and match-wise on this show! Smackdown! was excellent this week, with a good mix of promos and action, and all was well put together/spoken. I don’t even have to go into my usual breakdown, as the whole show would go into my “excellence” category. Way to go, Smackdown!

Lucha Underground today announced that it has released Shawn Hernandez from his contract have parted ways amicably.

Media companies requesting Hogan’s court records to be unsealed

The Associated Press is reporting that a group of media outlets is asking a Florida judge to make records in the Hulk Hogan sex video case public, something which would be worst case scenario for Hogan. The AP is one of the companies requesting these records.

The judge presiding the case has sealed all records which were part of an investigation carried out by the FBI. The audio tape released in June which had several racist rants from Hogan was supposed to be sealed however someone leaked it to The National Enquirer which resulted in Hogan losing his WWE job and his career wiped from the WWE. Hogan has since been on damage control.

“It’s highly unusual for this much secrecy to surround a civil proceeding,” said Charles Tobin, a lawyer for Holland and Knight who is representing the media companies. “Ordinarily, whether it’s a celebrity or an average citizen, once you ask the court to help solve a dispute you open the proceedings up to public review. What’s going on in Hulk Hogan’s case certainly is not the norm when it comes to public transparency of the courts.”

The trial is scheduled for March 2016 in Pinellas County Court in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Tammy “Sunny” Sytch arrested again

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch is once again behind bars after she was locked up at the Carbon County Correctional Facility in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, two days ago.

Sytch failed to appear three times at hearings which were scheduled following her DUI arrest earlier this year in Mahoning Township, Pennsylvania. A bench warrant was issued on September 3 and she was arrested 20 days later. A hearing is set for today with a trial expected to start on December 7. Chances are she will remain locked up till the trial starts due to her already bad history for failing to show up for court dates.

She blasted WWE earlier this month for not supporting her financially even though WWE picked up all her rehab bills in the past. The company has since stopped paying for her rehabilitation since she falls off the wagon every time. Sunny has been Skyping with fans for a set amount of dollars and even doing nude video chats to earn money.

Sting talks about his injury and Seth Rollins with WWE.COM

Wrestling legend Sting talked to WWE.COM regarding the injury he suffered at Night of Champions, giving his first public comments since the incident.

Sting said that apart from having a stiff neck and banged up a little bit, he feels good, or better yet, “pretty standard” for a wrestling match like that. He felt tingling and numbness down both his arms and then after taking a bump, the turnbuckle power bomb, it went down his legs too and “they just felt like rubber.” Sting eventually collapsed after getting Irish whipped and instead of just ducking the planned clothesline he just crashed to the mat.

“I had to go down on all fours there for a minute, get my composure. I was a little…I was worried,” he said.

He added that he was out when he got to the hospital and doctors hooked him up to an IV to ease the pain. “They mentioned cervical spinal stenosis, but that’s only part of what I heard. I don’t know if there’s anything else,” Sting said, adding that the doctor told his wife that he’s lucky he walked out of the ring.

Despite the massive scare, Sting is eager to return to the ring under the ring scenario and circumstances but it’s a big bold question mark at this point and he’s going to take the wait and see approach for the time being.

Sting described Rollins as one of the best he’s ever worked with and it was a pleasure and an honor to work with him. “And I think he’s just scratching the surface on what he will do. I’ve never seen somebody as talented,” the former WCW champion said.
