New Japan re-signs Juice Robinson

Juice Robinson, New Japan’s United States Champion, formerly known as CJ Parker in NXT, re-signed a multi-year deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

During his time in Japan, Juice was getting a significant push and quickly became one of the more popular foreign wrestlers in the promotion.

WWE was reported by multiple sources to be very interested in bringing him back, so this is a big win for New Japan.

In a somewhat more surprising move, New Japan also re-signed Rocky Romero. Rocky is 36 and has taken on a manager-wrestler role lately, so a path towards retirement was likely.

Both are multi-year deals.
