Jon Moxley’s G1 Climax tournament match from earlier today in Tokyo airs tonight on AXS TV

Jon Moxley is evidently absent from the AEW Fight For The Fallen card but there’s a good reason for that. Moxley just participated in night two of the New Japan Pro Wrestling G1 Climax 29 tournament in Tokyo today.

Moxley, the current IWGP United States champion, wrestled Taichi in the sixth match on the card and won the match with his Death Rider finishing move, a variation of his Dirty Deeds old finisher.

The former WWE champion will continue to wrestle for NJPW until All Elite Wrestling goes full time this October with weekly television shows. Moxley wrestled his first match for AEW at Fyter Fest, defeating Joey Janela in an unsanctioned bout which headlined the show.

AXS TV will air five matches from today’s G1 Climax event including Moxley’s match against Taichi. NJPW on AXS TV starts at 9PM ET.
