Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s mother Ata survived a horrific car crash in Los Angeles, with Johnson saying that “angels of mercy” where watching over her late last night.
“She’ll survive and continue to get evaluated. This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head on collision with a drunk driver and attempted suicide,” Johnson wrote in a post on Instagram along with a photo of the car smashed.
“She’s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real,” he continued, before thanking the LAPD and LAFD for being so caring, focused, and for staying on phone and talking to him through it all.
“I got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad make sure you hug ‘em hard, cos you never know when you’ll get that 3am call we never want to get,” Johnson wrote.
Ata was at the Royal Rumble this past weekend supporting her family at the show.
