The Roast of Ric Flair coming to Starrcast V

Starrcast V will be built around Ric Flair this July as there will also be The Roast of Ric Flair during the weekend, currently set for Friday, July 29.

This event was originally set to take place a few years ago but health issues prevented Flair from appearing and the whole idea was scrapped.

With Nature Boy now preparing to wrestle his final match just two days later, it was the perfect time to bring back the roast.

“The last weekend in July is going to be Ric’s swan song in a professional wrestling ring, so what better way to send him off before his final match than giving him a proper roast,” said Conrad Thompson. “Ric’s career has transcended professional wrestling and made him a pop culture icon. You’ve seen his influence everywhere from sports to hip hop. He’s done it all, except get roasted by some of his dearest friends and the most talented comedians in the world. That all changes on July 29th.”

Considering his storied-career and with countless of opponents and ex-wives, the roast of Ric Flair could be a juicy and explosive one!
